Horribly dishonest dealer! We had agreed on a price via email and then verbally over the phone. The car that we originally made the deal on sold, but I was told that they would honor the deal for another car of the same model/trim. When we went to the dealership to purchase we were told that they would no longer honor that price. This dealership has shady practices and you should avoid them at all costs.

This dealership will only treat you nice before you buy the car, afterwards, just forget it. They said they would call when our license plate comes in, well you know what didn't get a call. Between my daughter and my son in law calling to check with them (since we are such a bother now after we bought the car), keep being told that "it is not yet" and hand it off to someone to take care of. Well, it is 39 days after we bought the car and my 2nd trip permit will expire very soon. I am not going to get a 3rd permit on my dime. So after my son in law called and got routted to someone's voicemail. My daughter called back and was directed to the sales guy who sold us the car "freddie" since I am sure there is anger in her voice due to the run around we been receiving for weeks now. Guess what? She told Freddie her mom is completely pissed off because of this. He said he will go check and call my daughter back. When he did call (not my daughter like he said he would), my plates has magically appeared after just 30 minutes from the first call at just before 6:30pm.

And don't let them tell you that it is the Oregon DMV's fault because my coworkers bought new cars and get their new license plates in about 20 days. It is completely B.S.

How could you expect word of mouth business if you don't treat your customers "nicely" after they buy their cars???

Mitch Wheeler is the best salesman that I have eve...

Mitch Wheeler is the best salesman that I have ever dealt with.. He is not pushy and very understanding. He is not your average "car salesman" that everyone hates to deal with. I bought a car from Mitch and because of the way that he treated me I took my son there to buy a car from him. Mitch spent half the day with my son (my son has "big taste" with out the income to support it). Mitch searched the inventory....searched some more......and more searching for a car that matched his taste and income only to find out that a deal was being made on the one that fit. Within 2 hours Mitch found a similar vehicle and emailed pictures to him and it was a fit. It is refreshing to be treated with respect and have a dealership that stands behind their cars after you drive away (I know there is alot of jokes that can be made off of that statement). I will and have recommended Mitch to my family, friends, and co-workers. Mitch wheeler is the best. Everyone I came into contact with at Dick Hannah Honda are great. Thank You Mitch and Dick Hannah

My car fell apart and I was in a hurry to purchase a vehicle that was affordable and would fit my wants and needs. I found a vehicle that I was interested in online and went to Dick Hannah Honda to have a look. Mitch Wheeler located the car on the lot and we got busy on he paperwork. With Mitch and Nick both working for me, I got a great deal on the car and financing that worked for me. I am so happy with my Tucson!

Review of Service Station. I was really hoping th...

Review of Service Station. I was really hoping that not all dealerships were the same but I was terribly disappointed. To their benefit, the staff was very nice despite being slammed during a busy morning rush of vehicles. The coupon for a $10 oil change was great too. My rep was also very patient with me when I raised the following issues.

First, this dealership (like all others it seems) overcharges like crazy for everything. After my diagnostic I ran through the list they gave me with a local mechanic and the local bids were easily 30-50% cheaper. In addition, the local mechanic said that some of the recommended repairs by Dick Hannah would be unwarranted and possibly detrimental for the age of my car. Take that with a grain of salt since they may be simply looking for business.

Second, the descriptions of the repair work did not comport with the explanation I received from my representative. It was incredibly frustrating not being able to actually talk to the mechanic that made the recommendation; apparently that is Dick Hannah's policy. The rep kept saying that my brakes needed special work but the part number he gave me was for brake pads. I asked if this was just replacing brake pads and he waffled saying yes and then no and then back to yes finally. He mentioned that hardware was needed but I confirmed that the hardware replacement is part of a normal brake pad replacement.

Third, my rep quoted me $150 for the part for the brake job but when I looked up the part number (and confirmed that it was the only part needed for the job) it was $55 (Genuine Honda part from Amazon). He also quoted me $225 for labor but I looked up a video online of a guy in his garage changing out the brake pads (again, I confirmed that this was the job) and that guy said it took him at most 30 minutes for both sides. Granted, that guy in the video probably exaggerated and the dealership may also do a cleaning or something. But we're talking about Honda specific technicians and it takes them $225 worth of labor to change two brake pads?

Fourth, and this is more advice if you do go to Dick Hannah and care to take my advice, make sure you study the coupons on their website. The folks at the dealership will not mention them at all unless you point them out. This brake job they quoted was $375. Luckily I saw that the second coupon from the top was a Brake Pad replacement for $180 and the rep confirmed that he would honor that coupon. That's over 50% off that he didn't even mention!

Finally, at least one of the many recommended repairs (mostly fluid flushes) were obviously not necessary. For example, they recommended a serpentine belt replacement. I had the serpentine belt replaced a year before this appointment by a different dealership that overcharged me for a bunch of repairs. I also looked at the serpentine belt and it looks like it is still new. We don't drive that much so there was absolutely no reason to change it. Plus they wanted to charge $208 for the change when it would only cost $120 at my local mechanic and you can do it yourself with minimal tools for the cost of the belt ($50 for top of the line belt) in like 10 minutes (as I found out on YouTube).

I sincerely apologize for this long negative review. Like I said, I was incredibly disappointed and I hope that if someone is deciding whether to go with a dealership or local mechanic that you give a little extra weight to the local mechanic... if you don't have money, time, and patience to burn.

I connected with Grant Brady at Dick Hannah just by chance, really. He was casual and attentive and very easy to work with. He showed me several cars, including one or two I hadn't found online. It was a low-pressure, super easy buying experience from beginning to end. I'd recommend him to any of my friends looking for a car.

If you want to buy a Honda, Dick Hannah is the place to go and you want Paul Nickolas as your salesman. The entire process was painless and actually pleasant. Paul is very knowledgeable about Hondas and you don't have to deal with price haggling, everything is up front. We purchased a new CRV and are pleased with the product and with the experience with Paul. Paul even made it a point to check back with us days later, to make sure we were still happy.

We had good experience at dick Hannah and now are owners of crv. I did get fair price and I am pretty happy with the car. Justin walked us through the test drive, was honest and helpful in answering all questions. The whole deal took a turn when I was not getting my price. I almost walked back, until I felt I should walk through the whole financing process before I make yes or no. Inspite of us walking out, and then walking back in, Justin did not hesitate to help us. I really liked that. Well it so happens eventually we closed on positive terms and I feel I got a fair price.

One thing, thing that was not totally as planned was paperwork on financing. It was weird that I had to call out tht they missed charging us down payment, and today my wife got a call to head back to Vancouver for missing paper work. This is the only reason I would have taken away half a star from the review :( :). Hope things work out tomorrow!!

Took my 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L to Dick Hannah Honda Service Dept. due to rear right door would not open from inside or out. Was greeted politely by service advisory Darin Kyle. He immediately accessed the problem with his service tech and took my vehicle in to fix the issue. After Darin ordered all parts needed the service technician Dan Sperry repaired the door efficiently. Even going the extra mile of swapping some custom parts I had on my old door panel to the new one. Everything covered by warranty. Now this is what I call great customer service. Reason why I won t take my vehicles anywhere else. JosephA

3-09-15 Took my 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L to Dick Hannah Service Dept. due to vibrations during 35 to 45 MPH and especially en the cold. I was greated very nicely by Liza the service tech. She immediately got started to resolve the problem. Result software update performed and propeller shaft replaced all under warranty. Vehicle drive is good no vibration. Excellent service!

The staff is friendly, but the only times I've had quality service is for an oil change. I've been in for two actual issues and neither were done correctly, only to the detriment to my wallet. I will take fault in bringing my non-Honda vehicles in (only one issue was an actual 'Chevy needed to fix it' issue) but I purchased both my vehicles from the sales side, so I figured I would still support the overall business. I don't know where the issue lies with the failures to properly fix my vehicles, be it with a failure to communicate between staff, or a mechanic who just doesn't want to work there anymore, but take your chances (as you do with anywhere you go).

All that being said - you will be treated well by staff when you're there. I've always been kept up to date on the status of parts and how long everything will take, and they've always let me know if something will be delayed.

I have not purchased a car since 1999. Buy good cars and keep them. Had major apprehension just to begin process. Had a blip in my credit 3 years ago and that added to the anxiety. I need not have worried so much. Went to the dealer looking for a used nice Honda CRV Ex-l but was willing to drive a new one which I did. Salesperson was Vantha Meas and he was the best. Kind. Informative. Not pushy. I made it clear I wasn't going to buy today as I was waiting to see what my own bank will come up with for interest rate, terms etc. Did not matter. He treated me great. I did agree to talk to his manager Tim Rock. Again, apprehensive. I walked away with what they could do for me as far as a new vehicle-interest rate, various terms, etc. I now know my options.there and can compare with my bank's offer. I will go back. Hopefully if I decide on used they can help me there too. They looked me in the eye and did not act upset or weird that I was walking out. I WANT this to work out on some level because I trust them both. So go talk to Van and Tim. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Went in for a service, was told I needed a lot of work done (totalling over $3000) on my car. Took it to Ron Tonkin Gresham for a second opinion and was told none of it was necessary. The worst of the problems that Dick Hannah noted, Ron Tonkin put at a 2/10 severity. Felt very taken advantage of.
Not only that, but they sold my information to telemarketers. I get at least 2 calls a day since I was there a few weeks ago for extended warranties, auto insurance, and car loans. Emails, phone calls, and mail delivered to my house (with Dick Hannah's name also on it). Extremely frustrating and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone

DONT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I had talked to the sales rep all week about I car I was going to buy cash. I drove all the way from Salem and the deal was already finished all I had to do was pay in cash. When I got there I test drove the car I was interested in went to go purchase it, the girl told me it was almost completed. Then about an hour of waiting the tell me there was a misunderstanding and that car that I test drove that was put aside for me was sold. I also heard them tell other people in the waiting room similar things. When I talked to the manager about my situation he didn't care and wasn't willing to help us even though we just test drove and had the deal already done. WILL NEVER BUY A CAR HERE EVER HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We weren't rushed we weren't ignored, we got our privacy when we needed it and advice when we asked for it. They didn't push a car onto us, they asked us what we were looking for and showed us our options in our budget and found us the perfect family car. When one of the manager's excuse for a rude male rep is "yeah , he's just an a**hole" then maybe they need to change something about staffing or customer service training. In the end we were quoted the incorrect price for services by $300 but the manager comped it because it was their error.

He walked through all the financing options with us and gave us informed advise. He worked his best on getting us our favorite color and a really good discount as well. Great service from Robert! He did a great job helping me find the right car and fit it into my budget. Would be 5 stars but the manager, Tim made it very difficult to purchase from Dick Hannah. His intentions were clearly only for his own profit and he was not very smooth trying to use dirty sales tactics to force me into overpaying for a vehicle.

I purchased my 2015 CRV-Navi on April 2, 2015 at Dick Hannah. This was my first purchase from the dealership, and I found it to be a positive experience. Paul Nickolas was the salesman who worked with me throughout the purchase process. I was very pleased with Paul's professionalism, knowledge and patience. He was not the least bit pushy or aggressive in order to make the sale. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in purchasing a vehicle. I felt that he was honest with me, as well as realistic about my needs for the CRV that I wanted to purchase. Paul's followup after the purchase has been excellent. He has emailed me and made several phone calls just to make sure I was enjoying my car, and also to see if I had any questions/concerns about the car.l Every time I have spoken with him, Paul has encouraged me to call if I have any problems/'questions concerning the car.
I also found the staff at Dick Hannah to be very welcoming and friendly. The employees seemed happy to be there, which, in my opinion, speaks highly for the dealership.

My husband and I had an amazing experience buying our new (used) van. We went to the dealership expecting to be pressured into buying a van and we were pleasantly surprised to have the opposite happen. Ron Lewis was very friendly and laid back. He asked us exactly what we were looking for and showed us options for both new and used vans without try to sway us either way. Ron really listened to what our needs were and even swayed me away from an SUV I really liked because he knew it wasn't exactly what we were looking for. We left so happy and in a new (used) van that checked every box on the list of what we were looking for plus more.

I would be remiss in not mentioning that the gentleman who did the financing paperwork was also great. I can't remember his name, but he was a genuinely nice person who made us feel like we weren't just numbers.

Our overall experience was truly memorable, it was so easy and relaxed that my husband is thinking about going back and getting a new car for himself too!

Lisa (Green Team) in the service department is truly a customer advocate. She exemplifies the Dick Hannah motto "believe in nice" and she is the reason we continue on as Dick Hannah service customers. We have experienced some unusual troubles with our Honda Pilot (a Honda issue, not a dealership issue!) and Lisa has spent so much time going to bat for us. We are very appreciative of her caring and expertise.

In addition, we'd like to acknowledge Tom Orahood for doing right by us even when Honda corporate was not standing behind their product as we feel they should. We will remain loyal Dick Hannah Honda customers because of the treatment Tom and Lisa have given us.
