This place is amazing on all levels. The staff were all very cordial and consistent but not over baring. The atmosphere was beautiful and created a romantic ambiance while keeping the authenticity of old school Italian. The food was delicious. I was actually surprised at how amazing it was. Everything about this place is incredible and I will definitely be returning some time in the near future.
Absolutely a delightful evening!veal piccata perfect! They slice their own veal. Large video screen playing Andrea Bocelli concert set such a beautiful atmosphere of italian music. Service & greeting by the owner over the top.
The customer service was excellent and great shrimp salad. The grilled vegetables were cook perfect and had a good taste.
I have never had a bad meal here. The new addition to the bar area is more peaceful and the high chairs/tables are extremely comfortable.
Special notes - the art on the walls is all hand painted and for a private area reserve one the upper areas.
It is a great place and you can feel that the Owner cares about everything.
$17.00 for a 4 slice pizza. Thought we were taken advantage off. Sent my daughter in to picked up. If it was me I would of said keep it.
Absolutely amazing food!!!!! My husband got the chicken marsala and I ordered the chicken picatta. Both were the best we have ever had, ever! We also got the tiramisu which was out of this world. We highly recommend.
A great view from the middle balcony. The host Aaron and the server Eddy were great. Both were able recommend a dish. We enjoyed Tortellini Alfredo
We found this place by chance. So, glad we did. It was really great.
Very cool place with delicious traditional Italian dishes.
Great customer service! Staff was delightful! And the food was nothing g short of amazing!
I love the atmosphere and food. Is a regular airport stop.
Wonderful Italian food and good wine selection. The entertainment was fun.
I had no idea this place had entertainment. After dropping off friends at Denver Intl. Airport, my Wife and I decided to have a meal and chose the closest nice restaurant.
What a great treat. We were surprised to see on a giant screen, Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night" playing away with just the right sound.
Our server was Corey and he was the just the correct amount of attention and privacy. We discovered that some nights the have live entertainment and once a month an orchestra on stage with a dance floor. Wow!
OK to the food. We both started with a small salad of very fresh greens and really good tomatoes. Then ... I had a very very good lasagna. The Red or Marinara sauce was great. It tasted like it had been made from fresh tomatoes and was thick and chunky enough to keep from spilling on my shirt ((a minor miracle). She had manicotti and meat balls. One of the best meatballs I've been served at a restaurant. The meal was served with fresh baked bread. Two glasses of wine for her, one for me (driving) and a perfect night.
I SHALL RETURN.
Fabulous food, old school great service! Highly recommended if you are in the area.
Wow. 5 star dining. Excellent service. Incredible food and beautiful decor. Definitely a place to go for high class Italian food. You will not be disappointed.
Great atmosphere, everything I've tried has been very good. Still haven't even had the pizza!
Had a reservation for 7:30, wasn't seated until almost 8:00. Was not served until 9:30. At 9:45 finally recieved a water... this note is for the owner. Get your s@$!t together and hire more staff. We had a party of 13 and you failed to have the proper staff... this is not on them, it's on you. I never write reviews but you need to know you have failed your customers and lost the business of multiple companies across the states.
Food is always delicious! Great service and a nice, big location. Always loved this place when it was in olde town Arvada and it's just as good as I remember.
Best Italian food around! A bit pricey but worth every penny!
Homemade linguini was great. Good value. Friendly though amateurish service.
The food was so delicious!!!! Customer service was awesome!! And the environment alone is so beautiful!!! Definitely recommend to any Italian lovers!
always a great experience. fairly expensive for most Italian places but experience and service justify a high cost. live piano on weekends and awesome service. Chicken Parmigiana is absolutely the best.
I love this place....the place is always clean and the staff is amazing!!!!!
One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The chicken Alfredo is definitely recommended!
Love the customer service. The waiters and waitresses are absolutely amazing and the food is so great. Coming from an Italian background it's nice to have an Italian restaurant that is as close to the true Italian cuisine as this place is!
The food and service were both excellent but the entertainment put the experience over the top. There's something about watching an old film of Frankie and Elvis singing a duet.
Great ambiance. Great service. Food was speedy and delicious lots of flavor. Highly recommend!
This place was awesome The staff was friendly The food was delicious and I definitely will go again.
Heavy food, dim lights, and cramped quarters. This restaurant is popular, and it's Italian food is fine. Despite being part of a group that had booked a group party more than two months in advance, the service staff was overwhelmed, confused, and meals arrived in a scattered manner over the course of an hour. As the area surrounding the Gaylord Rockies further develops, I believe there will be many better options for Italian dining, and group dining overall.
Excellent food and ambience, wait staff was overwhelmed but still delivered. Very authentic Italian at reasonable prices (for the quality of the food). Recommended!
Food was delicious. But not a great value. The atmosphere was odd. Service was outstanding.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was a delight!!
Exceptional Service and the Food was Fantastic! We ordered take-out and were very pleased. We will return in the future.
Nice place, Was looking forward for Chicken Francese.l but did not have.
Came just before noon. No staff at desk or in dining room. No other diners at all. Waited for about 10 minutes and no one ever came out to greet us. Sadly didn't get to try the food.
Bring cash. They charge an extra 4% if you pay by card. But other than that food was delicious!! We had the ravioli marsala and it was fantastic!!
What a great experience for dinner. The old TV shows and the atmosphere is amazing. The service was absolutely spot on!!!!! A great time!!!
I like the big screen entertainment. A great atmosphere for dinner. A little expensive but good for a special occasion. The food is always good and their bread is to die for.
While not a historic building, this establishment delivers classic Italian dining and entertainment. The food is superb and the atmosphere is quite cozy.
Wonderful "last night in town" dinner. Food was DELICIOUS and our waiter Cory was awesome. He had a really good story!
Great food. Little over priced but it's a fun spot.
Spectacular elegant meal the restaurant with a romantic atmosphere
First time there, was great food, great place, we vey much enjoyed out.
This used to be my absolute favorite stop in Denver, but I have noticed a slow decline over the years in food and building maintenance.
I know its very hard to remain consistent in the restaurant industry; cooks come and go. I will give them another try to make sure it is not a fluke.
Atmosphere was super cool!! Food good, service even better. Close to hotel and I'd go back!
Kinda loud and kinda pricy. I mean charge extra for the sides?
Classy old school Italian restaurant. Service is great and so is the food
Awesome place, we always come here on Sundays with the family. The team treats us like family. I love coming here and my family bugs me every Sunday to go out to eat. Great fried ravioli, bread, and wine selections.
Eggplant Lasagna was tasty but the center of the dish was almost cold, the edges very warm.
Some of the staff here are very friendly and fast but the quality of the food is extremely low and poor. Basically, plan on egg noodles, ketchup with no flavor which the management likes to call marinara and terrible heartburn two hours later.
They prefer to only make reservations for large parties of four or more so you're out of luck if you want to take a date there as a couple.
Excellent place for lunch or dinner!! Very classy! Reminds me of the Colosseum! Met the owner through a friend and he joined us for lunch and had a great time! Wonderful and friendly staff! Terrific bar in the back! Absolutely fabulous decor!
Pretty neat place. 3 floors of tables in a theater setting for live performances. Great eggplant parm and pizza!
I had a great experience stuffed strip was spot on in taste and temperature. Beautiful interior. Manager tells a great story about the painter. Staff is very attentive and did a great job. I'll be back when flying out of Denver next time.
Not sure what the hype is about in the other reviews. This is an old school italian experience, kinda kitschy cool inside with the rotunda of booths and big screen of classic videos on repeat. But the food was just SO BAD and so expensive. From the 'upsell' of a soggy iceberg salad to start, and the sysco pre-made frozen appetizers plated with minimal garnish or tlc. Followed by EVERY pasta dish with the exact same red or white sauce on top. It's impossible to imagine how a $30+ meat entree would be worth it, nothing seemed like it was cooked to order. Instead, it was nothing more than expensive cafeteria food slapped on a plate. Sad -- i really wanted to really love this place, but this place made carrabas or olive garden seem gourmet by comparison. I will also add -- the 4% surcharge for a credit card is extortionate, add your tacky mob joke here but the emphasis on cash payment does seem weird.
Poor service the waiters never came to the counter we left and went someplace, never got seated.
They were accommodating of my gluten free diet. They had gluten free pasta that was really good. The restaurant itself is huge.
Dicicco's is a very good place to eat, great staff and the food is delicious
Horrible food but hilarious setting. Also great service.
Very good Italian fare, large restaurant but good customer service.
Cool atmosphere... decent prices... okay food. All in that order.
Windowless space that is dark and dingy with a terrible odor. A depressing atmosphere. Overpriced and everything is extra: a small side salad is $3.99. The lowest priced pizza is $16.99 and consists of 4 slices. No drinks menu was provided and a draft beer ended up costing $9.95. if you use a credit card you get charged an extra 3.95%. You pay on an iPad-like device and you are prompted to leave a 20% tip as the wait staff looks on; I changed it to 15% and felt that I was being generous. It's a desolate area with few dining alternatives. I should have walked out and ended up feeling that I was ripped off. Bad, bad experience.
Good Italian food. Interesting venue. Not crowded at all during lunch. Building has no windows!
Food is excellent. Be careful they will upcharge the daylights out of you.
I loved this place! It was so beautiful and very romantic setting. The pianist was Awesome and the Service was friendly and sweet. The food was Great, Best Italian food I've had in Colorado and it was so Refreshing to see everyone Enjoying each others Company with Pleasant conversation. NOT a Person had a Cell Phone At the Dinner Table. I loved it!! Thank you so much.
Absolutely the best restaurant in Denver. If you've never been here, you're missing out on one of the most beautiful and tranquil atmospheres. Getting lost in the beautiful Italian culture, while eating absolutely the best Italian food in Denver. The waitstaff is amazing, especially Corey. Mr. DiCicco really knows how to run a business. This is an absolute diamond in the rough of the restaurant industry. You will absolutely not regret dining here. It will absolutely always be worth it to come here. I cannot get over how amazing this restaurant is.
Horrible food
Very bad wine service
Extremely over priced
Paid almost a 100.00 to walk out hungry
Not ever again
Food was marvelous, and my server Corey was immaculate. Was definitely impressed with my meal, so from one chef to another..."my compliments"
Visiting from Florida and got caught in the Blizzard March 14 they were the only thing open on the whole street! And it was great food. They could of packed it up like other places but didn't! Awesome customer service as well
Super super delicious. A tad over priced but it is authentic italian, not Olive garden so at least the taste kinda stands up to the price.
The bread gets hard on the table really quick tho
Was not a fan of the smell when we walked in. Other then that our server Jesse was awesome. Best Chicken Marsala I have ever had and my husband loved his steak.
Delicious food, great ambiance, and fantastic service. Will definitely be back!
Good food, live music, cute atmosphere, were properly socially distanced for covid. Portions weren't half bad either.
We thoroughly enjoyed our diner here. The seafood fettuccine is the best I've had in over 40 years, and the chicken parmigiano has a nice crust with chicken that melts in your mouth. Nice ambience.
Had a lovely dinning experience and meal here on 10/20/20 with a friend from out of town. Staff was attentive and kind. I will absolutely be back!
Food was timely and excellent!!! Wine selection was amazing as well.
Fantastic food. Atmosphere is a little quirky but fun
The food is overly salted. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was like eating chewy mini chicken strips with cocktail sauce. I ordered the Spaghetti Bari and could taste nothing by salt. Once I had eaten down close to the bottom of the bowl I noticed the pool of grease that was waiting on me. I stopped eating at that point. Service, atmosphere, and bread were all good (rain for two stars not one) but food was not.
I don't know what the hype is about for this place, food was average, our food was like microwave reheated, price is fine I guess but they try to stick it to you any way they can, 6% more for card payment, you want to split yor plate "ok here is an extra charge as well for that" I order a draft and it was flat.
I guess this is ok for Airport standards, or people have been traveling so much that even a place like this looks good to them to justify a 5 star review.
It took a little while to get seated but once we did the food and service were great.
Great food and atmosphere. Affordable and close to the airport hotels. Live piano music on Friday and Saturdays.
Interior is outdated, but I can live with that... I cannot live with canned mushrooms, dried out overcooked veal, watery marinara and the list continues. I don't mind spending a hundred dollars on a meal so long as its decent food. Save your money go to magiannos. Even olive garden is better.
