This place is amazing on all levels. The staff were all very cordial and consistent but not over baring. The atmosphere was beautiful and created a romantic ambiance while keeping the authenticity of old school Italian. The food was delicious. I was actually surprised at how amazing it was. Everything about this place is incredible and I will definitely be returning some time in the near future.

Absolutely a delightful evening!veal piccata perfect! They slice their own veal. Large video screen playing Andrea Bocelli concert set such a beautiful atmosphere of italian music. Service & greeting by the owner over the top.

I have never had a bad meal here. The new addition to the bar area is more peaceful and the high chairs/tables are extremely comfortable.
Special notes - the art on the walls is all hand painted and for a private area reserve one the upper areas.
It is a great place and you can feel that the Owner cares about everything.

Absolutely amazing food!!!!! My husband got the chicken marsala and I ordered the chicken picatta. Both were the best we have ever had, ever! We also got the tiramisu which was out of this world. We highly recommend.

I had no idea this place had entertainment. After dropping off friends at Denver Intl. Airport, my Wife and I decided to have a meal and chose the closest nice restaurant.
What a great treat. We were surprised to see on a giant screen, Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night" playing away with just the right sound.
Our server was Corey and he was the just the correct amount of attention and privacy. We discovered that some nights the have live entertainment and once a month an orchestra on stage with a dance floor. Wow!
OK to the food. We both started with a small salad of very fresh greens and really good tomatoes. Then ... I had a very very good lasagna. The Red or Marinara sauce was great. It tasted like it had been made from fresh tomatoes and was thick and chunky enough to keep from spilling on my shirt ((a minor miracle). She had manicotti and meat balls. One of the best meatballs I've been served at a restaurant. The meal was served with fresh baked bread. Two glasses of wine for her, one for me (driving) and a perfect night.
I SHALL RETURN.

Had a reservation for 7:30, wasn't seated until almost 8:00. Was not served until 9:30. At 9:45 finally recieved a water... this note is for the owner. Get your s@$!t together and hire more staff. We had a party of 13 and you failed to have the proper staff... this is not on them, it's on you. I never write reviews but you need to know you have failed your customers and lost the business of multiple companies across the states.

always a great experience. fairly expensive for most Italian places but experience and service justify a high cost. live piano on weekends and awesome service. Chicken Parmigiana is absolutely the best.

Love the customer service. The waiters and waitresses are absolutely amazing and the food is so great. Coming from an Italian background it's nice to have an Italian restaurant that is as close to the true Italian cuisine as this place is!

Heavy food, dim lights, and cramped quarters. This restaurant is popular, and it's Italian food is fine. Despite being part of a group that had booked a group party more than two months in advance, the service staff was overwhelmed, confused, and meals arrived in a scattered manner over the course of an hour. As the area surrounding the Gaylord Rockies further develops, I believe there will be many better options for Italian dining, and group dining overall.

Came just before noon. No staff at desk or in dining room. No other diners at all. Waited for about 10 minutes and no one ever came out to greet us. Sadly didn't get to try the food.

Great

This used to be my absolute favorite stop in Denver, but I have noticed a slow decline over the years in food and building maintenance.

I know its very hard to remain consistent in the restaurant industry; cooks come and go. I will give them another try to make sure it is not a fluke.

Awesome place, we always come here on Sundays with the family. The team treats us like family. I love coming here and my family bugs me every Sunday to go out to eat. Great fried ravioli, bread, and wine selections.

Some of the staff here are very friendly and fast but the quality of the food is extremely low and poor. Basically, plan on egg noodles, ketchup with no flavor which the management likes to call marinara and terrible heartburn two hours later.
They prefer to only make reservations for large parties of four or more so you're out of luck if you want to take a date there as a couple.

Excellent place for lunch or dinner!! Very classy! Reminds me of the Colosseum! Met the owner through a friend and he joined us for lunch and had a great time! Wonderful and friendly staff! Terrific bar in the back! Absolutely fabulous decor!

I had a great experience stuffed strip was spot on in taste and temperature. Beautiful interior. Manager tells a great story about the painter. Staff is very attentive and did a great job. I'll be back when flying out of Denver next time.

Not sure what the hype is about in the other reviews. This is an old school italian experience, kinda kitschy cool inside with the rotunda of booths and big screen of classic videos on repeat. But the food was just SO BAD and so expensive. From the 'upsell' of a soggy iceberg salad to start, and the sysco pre-made frozen appetizers plated with minimal garnish or tlc. Followed by EVERY pasta dish with the exact same red or white sauce on top. It's impossible to imagine how a $30+ meat entree would be worth it, nothing seemed like it was cooked to order. Instead, it was nothing more than expensive cafeteria food slapped on a plate. Sad -- i really wanted to really love this place, but this place made carrabas or olive garden seem gourmet by comparison. I will also add -- the 4% surcharge for a credit card is extortionate, add your tacky mob joke here but the emphasis on cash payment does seem weird.

Windowless space that is dark and dingy with a terrible odor. A depressing atmosphere. Overpriced and everything is extra: a small side salad is $3.99. The lowest priced pizza is $16.99 and consists of 4 slices. No drinks menu was provided and a draft beer ended up costing $9.95. if you use a credit card you get charged an extra 3.95%. You pay on an iPad-like device and you are prompted to leave a 20% tip as the wait staff looks on; I changed it to 15% and felt that I was being generous. It's a desolate area with few dining alternatives. I should have walked out and ended up feeling that I was ripped off. Bad, bad experience.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Denver. If you've never been here, you're missing out on one of the most beautiful and tranquil atmospheres. Getting lost in the beautiful Italian culture, while eating absolutely the best Italian food in Denver. The waitstaff is amazing, especially Corey. Mr. DiCicco really knows how to run a business. This is an absolute diamond in the rough of the restaurant industry. You will absolutely not regret dining here. It will absolutely always be worth it to come here. I cannot get over how amazing this restaurant is.

Visiting from Florida and got caught in the Blizzard March 14 they were the only thing open on the whole street! And it was great food. They could of packed it up like other places but didn't! Awesome customer service as well

Super super delicious. A tad over priced but it is authentic italian, not Olive garden so at least the taste kinda stands up to the price.
The bread gets hard on the table really quick tho

We thoroughly enjoyed our diner here. The seafood fettuccine is the best I've had in over 40 years, and the chicken parmigiano has a nice crust with chicken that melts in your mouth. Nice ambience.

The food is overly salted. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was like eating chewy mini chicken strips with cocktail sauce. I ordered the Spaghetti Bari and could taste nothing by salt. Once I had eaten down close to the bottom of the bowl I noticed the pool of grease that was waiting on me. I stopped eating at that point. Service, atmosphere, and bread were all good (rain for two stars not one) but food was not.

I don't know what the hype is about for this place, food was average, our food was like microwave reheated, price is fine I guess but they try to stick it to you any way they can, 6% more for card payment, you want to split yor plate "ok here is an extra charge as well for that" I order a draft and it was flat.
I guess this is ok for Airport standards, or people have been traveling so much that even a place like this looks good to them to justify a 5 star review.

Interior is outdated, but I can live with that... I cannot live with canned mushrooms, dried out overcooked veal, watery marinara and the list continues. I don't mind spending a hundred dollars on a meal so long as its decent food. Save your money go to magiannos. Even olive garden is better.
