This place has great potential, but the execution is sorely lacking. We visited on 2/22/19 - My family loved the supper club type atmosphere and the live music, but the delight shortly turned to dismay. The food tasted defrosted. I could taste the freezer on my $21 plate of pasta/salad. My "salad" was nothing more than iceberg lettuce and a slice of tasteless tomato (oh, and an equally tasteless pickled pepper). The balsamic vinegar tasted off and the carriers for the oil and vinegar were filthy. Management: you need to have side work done- like dusting, vacuuming, basic cleaning of booths and fixtures. Owner: you should invest in a better quality of food. If you are going to charge $21 for a pasta and salad, it should be fresh...or, at least edible. Staff was nice and accommodating. Incidentally, we could hear the table beside us complaing of their food too. As an added bonus, my 3 year old got sick to her stomach the the early morning hours after we dined at DiCicco's. We checked at the health inspector's website- their performance continues to decline. Try harder DiCicco's!!

Totally mediocre. For lunch, meal quality comparable to a supermarket deli section takeout, but two or three times the price. Would not recommend. Past visit for dinner, almost 2 years ago, was better.

Atmosphere was wonderful. Service, menu, salad was great. Music was perfect. However I came here to eat. Food was terrible, I had the Cioppino dish, and everything in it was so overcooked, hard and stringy. I complained to the waiter and he walk away. Bread was not tasty.

Victorio, the owner, has carried on the tradition of his father's family business from California with perfection. The decor is a must see, the staff is courteous and helpful. Victorio is engaged on the floor with customers, in the dining room, bar and in and out of the kitchen to ensure everything is to his customer's satisfaction. During the evening rush like an old friend he found time to proudly tell me about his family business and offered his opinion on what entrees I should try. I ended up getting the hand cut veal parmigiana. It was magnificently cooked with a perfect texture and flavor. Although I carried out my meal I still rate it a 5. You will be pleasantly surprised as I was not knowing what to expect from a restaurant tucked in all the hotels.

We re here from Tampa Fl and wow!!! What a wonderful place! First your greeting by who seemed to be the owner. He was very welcoming and wanted to accommodate all our needs. Cory was our server and he was great! Very attentive and good personality. Places that make u feel right at home are hard to find. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone who s looking for a little feel of a home in Italy They had a beautiful dining room area. Me and my husband usually like sitting at the bar because of the quick friendly service.. but we just had to sit in the dining room, they had Andrea Bocelli playing on this huge screen and it was so relaxing! The drinks are GREAT and the Food is the best Italian food I have had in a long time! Keep up the amazing job DiCiccos!!

This place is absolutely amazing! I ordered takeout there and although it was a bit on the pricey side, it was the best chicken marsala I ever had in my life. Definitely better than Olive Garden I must say.

I've can now say I've been to every Dicicco's there is and I'm so glad they have this one in Denver. I ate weekly at the original Dicicco's or the location near my home in Clovis, CA ever since I was a little girl. Since moving to Denver I've been absolutely homesick for the food. I waited to go to this Dicicco's until my oldest son came to visit. We ordered our usual, lasagna al forno and my youngest had spaghetti and meatballs. The service was excellent, Billy earned himself a 25% tip. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was much nicer than the California locations.... all of them put together. It's about 26 miles from my house, but I can see myself being a regular. Just like home and I thank them for it.

Phyllis Mason We arrived yesterday for a family dinner. When we entered the vestibule, the strong odor of chemical bathroom deodorizer hit us in the face, then moving to the next door the even stronger odor of SEWER! I wondered to myself if the manager and employees had become immune to the smell. Finally we were taken to a booth and five minutes later the waitress asked for our drink requests. We ordered two appetizers and two hot teas. The appetizers were good, the water for the tea was only lukewarm. We placed the order for our meal. It took about 20 minutes to bring the food. My 5 year old grandson has diarrhea now and my husband and I have stomach cramps. My complaint is for the manager - if you know that your place smells of sewer, close the restaurant until the problem is fixed. Sewer odor also carries bacteria and virus. This is a health hazard and you cannot cover it up with commercial bathroom deodorizer. Because you are an irresponsible manager or owner, I will report to the health department. Besides that, your meals are overpriced for the amount of food.

The wait staff was not attentive. Never filled up water or asked if we needed anything. We stuck with basics side salads and a pizza. The lettuce was not rinsed and dried. Bottom of bowl was a mixture of dressing and water. The pizza was ok. Don't waste your time. Doesn't even know what a Roy Rogers is and carded my son for ordering one.

Really enjoyed this fantastic restaurant out by the Denver Airport! Years ago I had frequented a Dicicco's out in Clovis, California. I was so surprised to find out that the owner was the same owner that had the restaurant in Clovis,Ca. They have moved out to Denver and GREATLY added to the menu. What a small world! I had the seafood fettuccine and could order that every night and NEVER tire of it! Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Food was very good, but some of the entree's are rididucuously over priced....as an example they wanted approx $30 dollars for chicken parm entree and that s crazy, and chickwn parm is my favorite but just on principle I am not paying $30 dollars for it because they are just ripping you off and the price is obnoxious. I had another entree and souo and the food was delicious

Found DiCicco's entirely by accident when Ruby Tuesdays was overbooked. We were not disappointed! From the outside, you wouldn't think it's a restaurant, because it used to be a theater.

On the inside you have a palatial Italian restaurant with three tiers of seating and a huge projector screen. Their food is unbelievably delicious, the creams and sauces taste like they're made fresh daily, and so does their pasta.

The service is always quick and courteous, and the prices might be smidge more than Olive Garden, but the food is considerably better than many restaurants that are double or triple the price!

On the weekends, an older gentleman plays the piano, which includes classical pieces, but also more contemporary music, and even music from popular movies. Highly recommend going, and though it might be a drive, I promise your won't regret it!

We were staying at a hotel nearby and ordered the eggplant parmigiana to go. When we got back to the hotel and opened the dish we realized that it didn't come with pasta. I have never ordered eggplant parm that didn't come with pasta. I called to see if it was a mistake, and the host told me I could order a side of pasta for another $4. After paying $15 for the eggplant parm we didn't feel like paying another $4 for pasta. When I placed the order the host asked if I wanted soup or salad, I wish he'd asked if I wanted pasta. The eggplant parm itself was greasy, salty, and heavy, which probably would've been fine if it'd had pasta to balance it out. I also ordered carrot cake, which was good, but the slice was tiny, so not great value. Overall a disappointing takeout experience.

Service was decent, food was horrible and the cost was very high. There was no host to greet us and it seemed like she was managing to many items to be attentive to the front end.
One of the party members tried a calzone, it was drenched in non flavorful marinara sauce. The other two ordered pasta, had a decent enough pasta that was eatable.
The cost for a plate of pasta was ridiculous. I enjoy supporting family establishments but I would of had better food at the Olive Garden.

Dang, why'd it take be so long to get my butt here. What a great meal all around! Came on a Friday night and only waited around 20 minutes (for the pasta side). Our waiter was awesome and really knew his stuff! Great recommendations!

Stopped on way to Denver Airport, on way headed back to NC. Wanted to try something different than chain.
We were warmly greeted, seated and surprised @ pricing for $$ rating as shown reviews, more like 3+$ ($29-$35) for typical dishes.
Salad was ala Cart @ $4, not too bad, they had 2 choices of dressing, neither low fat/free. what only 2 and no low cal - Flag!

Bread brought to table and nice warm, and then butter packets, not expected for atmosphere, price. Disappointed

Then heard server explaining to adjacent table that if they were paying by credit card, who doesn't now, would be 3.9% upcharge on top of price. Flag

Asked server about dish on adjacent table if typical proportion as we didn't have space to do leftovers, etc traveling and considering splitting if so. Then they informed that there was an extra plate upcharge of $3 to share, or eat off same plate. Flag

Ordered glass wine, local draft with our two lasagna's and 1 salad, as limited selections dressings. Beer, wine delivered fairly quickly, Salad seemed to take awhile to arrive.

Waiting for food to arrive, no visit to check water, etc which almost empty.
Runner brought out entrees, two lasagna's, asked then IF we wanted parmasean cheese, um Yeah, OH, ok I I'll be back with it...took couple mins...
Eating our dinner's, still no visit to fill waters, empty now. Probably 2/3's way done, waiter stops by, requested a little more bread, ok. About to finish dinner, finally stops by with water, and asked if we were ready check, or did we want dessert? Um, requested more bread...oops yeah. Again, flag.

We finished up our food, pulled together cash to cover. On way out, noticed two picture frames on counter stating extra fees for CC's. Did NOT see on, in menu stating policy, and frames not obvious being escorted by hostess.

Net experience, food was good, but definitely over priced for typical Italian dishes, and not worth the $ for the up charges, fees, inconvenience and mediocre service. Other Italian Chain much more consistent, attentive, and price friendly. We should have gone there instead.

Great food. Great Atmosphere.

Great food. Great Atmosphere.
Close by the hotel row (I walked there). The menu was large, the food was great. Old school Italian atmosphere with great attention to detail. Live 10-piece band with dance floor on Friday and Saturday nights!

This place was recommended to us by our hotel front desk, it stood out from the others because we were told they had live entertainment. We pulled in and were pleased to find parking close to the front. It also appeared they have an outdoor seating area as well (it was closed at the time bc of being the cold season). Outside the building was designed to remind you of an Italian style structure instead of being just another restaurant building. We went in and were soon seated in a cozy booth where we could both see the stage. The main dining hall was wide open, with 3 levels of seating similar in design to a small theatre venue. Our waitress was wonderful, she chatted with us, kept our drinks full, and definitely made our experience excellent. The food was delicious, I had Veal Parmesan, and was big enough I had to bring half of it back to our hotel for later. There was a keyboardist on stage that evening that I really enjoyed. I'm a big star wars fan, so when I heard very recognizable bits of music I was definitely impressed. Our waitress also informed us there was a lounge area that was all hand painted and would be neat to see before we left, so after our meal we had to go look. She wasn't kidding, the walls were beautifully painted floor to ceiling. I would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in Denver.

Went tonight for dinner, the food & service was amazing. Natalie was incredibly professional & attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and we loved the booths. Would definitely return, especially with the family.

Sat at the tiny bar for 13 minutes and never got approached once. There was 4 different workers that were in and out from the bar during that time but no one even asked if I wanted a water. I walked out. Dont go here. They seem to not understand the basics.

Very unfortunate that the outside sign in the parking lot says open daily from 10-10 but in fact the place closes at 9pm. We had to change the entire dinner plans due to this wrong information.

Nice menu, good service, and nice ambiance. The food is consistently good but not exceptional. Nice draft beer and wine selection. Convenient to walk from about all motels on Tower Road. Overall a pleasant experience.

The food wad a little pricey but well worth it because it tastes amazing and you got a very nice portion. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful choice, good quality food. Huge building. May just have been my timing, but wasn't very busy, definitely wouldn't want to see this place go out of business due to lack of business

Bad experience which is why I am writing this review. Very awkward building with an low-quality fake interior. The food was okay, but for being priced higher than a very average restaurant, it certainly wasnt worth it. Odd way to tip on an ipad while the waiters watch. From our experience, all around low quality (though it seemed from the building that the restaurant was trying verryyyyy hard to be special). The experience seemed almost deceitful in a way, high-priced food with a big awkward building to match. My wife and I will never go back.

Food was nasty!! We had beef ravioli and scallops linguine. Everything tasted frozen and from a can. The booth we sat at was filthy. The back was black with dirt. Tablecloth that wasn't covered with the glass top was black. Food spatter all over the wall. Had to contend with the flies too! Tried to complain to the manager about our experience and he turned it around on us like it was our fault for their horrible food. Don't go here!!

Hands down the best italian food in the Denver area. The atmosphere, customer service and value is absolutely amazing.
My family and I are regular customers and have never had a bad experience. Thank you for keeping your quality and service so consistent!!!

A new approach to restaurants. The interior is unique and very much resembles Coliseum architecture. The server was very attentive and checked on us frequently. Our limited selections for dinner only gave us a minor opportunity to sample the menu but angel hair pasta and lasagna where very well prepared and everything was served in a timely manner. I'd like to come back and sample more of this restaurant's fare. My only reason for not giving the 5th star was the price versus portion size ratio. Overall, I was very impressed with DiCicco's and would strongly suggest a visit to check out this restaurant's unique dining experience.
