New favorite Italian restaurant. The tortellone Al fredo was fantastic as was the ravioli marsala. The service was attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere was very nice. It felt like sitting in a bow seat at the theater, they have a large projection playing a variety of orchestral, opera and symphonic type performances. There is a stage also, I imagine that they also have live performances occasionally.
Will definitely be back to try other parts of the menu

I don't think this place would do so well if it wasn't right next to an airport. The food was a bit overpriced. It's a strange flow to this building. I hard a hard time finding the door and when I walked in I want sure where I was sapose to go. The calamari definitely was something you could order at TGI Fridays. tasted like something out of a box. I asked if the ravioli was made in house but they didn't look like they were scratch. They were good thou. The bar has 1990s white office light, just burning my pupils. I frequent Denver airport alot but next time I'm going to save 100$ and just go to the diner down the street.

Bottom Line Up Front? I lived in Northern Italy for 10 years - DiCicco's has great food and ownership:
Arrived at 9:35 pm on a Friday night to be told they were closed - slow night so they shut down a little early - decided to go to their bar for a coffee since I saw someone in there - the man sitting there asked how it was going. I told him, hungry but... I'll find something. He then ask what I would like to eat - I smiled knowing he must have been the owner. VIttorio DiCicco whipped up some hearty lasagna - very big piece. He also had them make me some Brushetta - it was so crispy and light yet melted in my mouth. We shared a red wine and chatted for a while. Finished with an espresso and a Tiramisu - both very good. Vittorio told me it was their 57th anniversary that day and so I was their last customer. ($46.40 - not including tip).
I decided to be their first the next day so I waited for them to open. Met Sandra as she supervised the lawn aeration. Thought it curious the owner of the landscaping would take such an interest in the restaurant's yard work. Figured out by other posts she was married to the owner.
My Saturday lunch (they use the dinner menu on weekends for lunch) was a double espresso, Veal Piccata (sauteed in Olive Oil, garlic, lots and lots of capers and lemon slices) which comes with a portion of spaghetti and grilled vegetables. Finished with another huge portion of Tiramisu and another double espresso - tasted better than last night's. ($45.66 not including tip).
Was it worth it? Well you can count on me being back the next time I have time in Denver. 4 1/2 stars

We arrived close to closing time but they seated us without any issue. Every server we encountered greeted us and made us feel welcome. The restaurant is large with high ceilings and very ornate. Live music was playing in the restaurant upon our arrival. Shannon, our Server, was very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and courteous. Serving sizes are large. Their sauce is delicious and they offer homemade pasta as well. I hope you enjoy your visit too!

Really amazing Italian food! I had the linguini and clam sauce and it was the creamiest, clammiest version of that plate that I've ever had! Waiter was happy and entertaining (Cory?). They were showing Italian concerts on the stage. Would eat there again tomorrow.

From the moment I sat down I was impressed and it didn't stop there. Service was very quick as well as courteous with suggestions. The pianist, oh man the pianist his name was Derry O'Leary, was an amazing addition to my dinner. One thing that really impressed me was that we are in no way dressed to first class. No suit and tie no proper slacks, simply jeans and leggings and we were sat in the front they were in no way ashamed of us and sat us directly in front of this amazing pianist will certainly return and I recommend this to everyone. The food was top notch as well!

Sat at the bar for an appetizer and drink before dropping a friend off at the airport, great decision. Calamari was some of the best I've ever had. Got a house made tiramisu to go... Will be back soon.

Total epitome of financial embezzlers.

Total epitome of financial embezzlers.
The food was absolutely disgusting.
The bread was cold. The butter packaged and hard. The fettuccini alfredo was a frozen meal reheated. The temperature was luke cold.
The scent when you walk in is remnant of sewage backup. And the night topper was the back of house long haired hairy chest wife beater employee hanging out at the entrance like clothing? What's that?

Nobody paid attention to us, I had my wine and my husband waited for his beer forever because there was no one to change the keg. He finally ordered a cocktail instead which was very poorly made. We sat at the bar which was a mistake because we didn t have a server, everyone was running around, not knowing the menu or what to do. The food was heavily covered with tomato sauce, no matter what you order. Calzone was soggy and too salty, noodles overcooked. Wall painting is amateur, however, there is an effort to make it look like an Italian town. The pianist was great. We have an Airbnb and will not recommend our guests to eat here.

Who'da thought you find something this cool by the airport. Imagine three stories of restaurant themed after one of those $4 bottles of Chianti in a basket around the bottle with all the hand painted pictures of a very imaginative neighbor who has never left Nebraska. Now, put a Las Vegas scale venue with a movie theater procidium playing Opera and dust the table with the morsels of love for Americanized Italian food that will be worth writing home about. an outstanding kitchen and professional staff that makes every penny of this pricey joint worth a sincere tip. Props to the invitation by an off duty bartender named Shannon, or I might have never found this place. I look forward to coming back again, at least for the great homemade bread. Jusr watch, this place will climb restaurant notables of the Queen City and make the airport a destination that can be fun

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner with a few hours to kill before her flight out of DIA. I didn t expect much being that this place was tucked in with all the hotels near the airport. Walking into the main dining area was really quite impressive with three levels of dining, all very nicely decorated. The video projected on the 2-story wall I m sure is very entertaining for the young ones, but the quiet and almost romantic accompanying music was quite pleasant and added nicely to the overall experience.

Now on to the food ... I thought everything was very tasty! Wait staff was very welcoming and our waitress immediately brought us out some warm house-baked bread that smelled fantastic and tasted just as good. We started with the Bruschetta Tomato Bread. It was a very large portion for an appetizer and full of mouthwatering flavors. We then shared a house salad with Blue Ranch dressing yes, that s ranch dressing with blue cheese in it a very tasty mix of flavors and not overpowering. We also shared a cup of minestrone soup, which could have used more seasoning, but after adding some salt and pepper, was still pretty good. My wife had the manicotti with meatballs, and I ordered the beef ravioli with two meatballs. Both were excellent! Meatballs were definitely freshly hand-made and the marinara sauce was seasoned perfectly. My wife said her manicotti was delicious, and my ravioli was, too.

With still plenty of time before having to head over to the airport, we sat enjoying the music for awhile before ordering desert. I had been disappointed not seeing cannolis on the desert menu earlier, but was overjoyed when our waitress started off with, We have a cannoli special for Valentine s Day. I ordered that and my wife had the tiramisu. Expecting the traditional cannoli on a plate drizzled with chocolate syrup, I was quite surprised to see how this cannoli was served (see picture) very beautifully done and in a way the cannoli shell would never wind up soggy on the bottom as so many do. Both the tiramisu and the cannoli were a wonderful way to finish our meal.

Any time we are around DIA in the future, DiCicco s will be our restaurant of choice!

I stopped in for a glass of wine waiting for my wife's flight. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Susan the manager made me feel welcome. I marked it as a place to go when near the airport for dinner. The dinner area looked like eating in the Roman Collisium.

I am disappointed with the delivery service this restaurant provides. I ordered a meal for delivery to a close by hotel. The side salad was not accompanied with the dressing I requested, and I ordered broccoli on the side but changed my mind and told them never mind on the broccoli. The meal ended up coming with a side order of mixed vegetables, and I was charged for it. The pasta was decent but the plastic utensils are less than adequate for pasta dishes.

Overall, I am disappointed with the delivery service from DiCiccos in Denver and would not recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with three levels.
I have been 4 times, and every time they had live entertainment.
Staff is excellent
Food is certainly above average - I believe many items are homemade.
Only thing stopping it from receiving 5 stars is that it is a bit pricey.

A traveler's perspective. Tasty food with attentive service. I went here while staying at a nearby hotel. My party was tired from traveling so I went to pick up dinner for everyone. The place is very nice inside and I was quickly escorted to the bar where i placed the order and was served my drink. The bartender, can't remember his name just dark hair and friendly personality, was quick, courteous and attentive. I was brought bread even though they knew I was ordering to go. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and tasty. The fettuccine Alfredo was rich and scrumptious. The packaging was a pleasant surprise. The food was insulated enough to keep everything warm for my walk back to the hotel. They also packed silverware, exyta napkins, butter, more bread, and packets of parmesan and red pepper. I should also mention the bread was warm and perfectly cooked. This was a superb meal for these weary travelers and we will be back. Thank you.

This place wasn't bad when we went there. I'll admit they put in a lot of work on the inside. With the videos playing to the architecture, it was quite the place. The food wasn't too bad either. I've had better, but I'm fairly harsh on Italian food. Regardless, my only issues were time (I didn't see more than 2-3 other tables but our food still took a long time) and price (had a bit of sticker shock and we didn't even have alcohol). I suspect it is due to where they are and the fact that they mostly get the hotel crowd (we were local). Still, a good place overall.

Extremely and pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was super friendly and laid back, almost like you were at grandma's house. Sat in the bar next to the cozy fireplace with Brandon as our server. He was awesome and we will definitely be returning!

Food was ok,but overpriced, and the building was pretty on the inside, the outside - looked closed down boarded up building. The waitstaff was in consistent- for the price paid, everyone should have been at least uniform, one of the waitstaff had his shirt untucked, my waiter offered parmasan cheese to all his tables but mine. Wont go back.

This is a very nice place nice atmosphere good food and drink in the wait staff always seemed to be charming. I've eaten here many times over the last several years and never left disappointed. I like the Caesar salad and often get the lasagna. They make a good martini to.
