Had an EXCEPTIONAL experience at the store, in dealing with both Akos and Ari. I was so pleased, I wrote their manager a letter to thank them for the incredible service, assistance, and support my mother and I were offered during two visits to the store. Thorough, Caring, Attentive, Patient, Knowledgeable, and VERY helpful to say the least. Many other businesses could learn a thing or two from the fine folks at Diamond. Thanks again for the help, and excellent products, they are working flawlessly and have given my mother the confidence and peace of mind despite her medical obstacles.

I rented a tens machine for my daughter to help with back pain during her labour. We tested it out before the delivery, but when she needed it in delivery, the batteries were dead. Unbelievable!!! This should be checked before it goes out and I should have received compensation. Neither of which were done.

When I first began working with DA 6 years ago staff was knowledgeable and friendly and what they wern't familiar with they found out about.

Today, staff conducts themselves like any other retail operation. Staff and managements knowledge base is poor at best, and the concept of effort is a foreign language.

If you require anything more than what is available off the shelf, (most of which is available at amazon for cheaper) there are far superior options in Winnipeg

I rented a kneeling mobility device from Diamond, ...

I rented a kneeling mobility device from Diamond, for my wife whom has a torn ligament in her leg. While she was using it in the kitchen of our home one of the front wheels came off and my wife fell and landed on her injured leg. The next day I went to Diamond to have the device replaced, I was informed all such units are inspected and serviced when they are returned. I informed the staff member that it was obviously not serviced or the service technician is incompetent as the wheel axel unthreaded causing the wheel to come off. When renting a medical assistance device for an injured person there is an expectation of confidence the device will function properly and not contribute to further injury. This expectation was not met buy Diane athletics.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE- The female associate that ...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE- The female associate that served my wife was grumpy, impatient and basically rude, she even rolled her eyes at one point. All the other floor personel seemed nice except the young lady that assisted us.

It was like she just wanted us out of there. This is not how to treat people who are in pain and know nothing about products they need to purchase.
It s also not how you act in a retail environment... you should at least try to be friendly and treat customers with a little decency.

I d never recommend this place just because of one crappy experience. If I could I d give it negative stars.

I never thought after all these years I would ever...

I never thought after all these years I would ever have anything bad to say about Diamonds. Well that time has come. Over the years they have helped me recover from four shoulder surgeries and three knee surgeries. I thought they could do no wrong,well I was wrong. I have a badly injuried knee from a pedestrian auto accident, no I was not J Walking, I was standing on the sidewalk. Dr Sawa gave me a prescription for a new brace so off to Diamonds I went. The person who was supposedly helping me was clearly unhappy working. I showed him the brace Dr Sawa said I needed and he tells they don't stock it and Manitoba Health would not pay for it anyway. So I accepted his " expert opinion" and the only thing this brace did for my knee was hurt. I returned to Dr Sawa with a very swollen painful knee and she tells me the brace is exactly not what she ordered. So now I am having a custom brace made at Anderson Orthotics exactly the way Dr Sawa ordered it be made. I am partly to blame here I listened to basically a clerk ,and not the doctor , this person clearly felt he was too important to bother with the correct brace. I am never going back to Diamonds it is such a shame to see a great business fail so badly.

Had surgery on my foot and needed an Iwalk 2.0 crutch and the staff at Diamond were awesome, very helpful, very friendly. Staff are waiting for you when you come in to serve your needs. Highly recommend if you need any medical device to assist you through an injury.

Yes, a lot of the time they will be busy, usually helping the super slow and confused whiners who are taking up the staffs time asking a bunch of questions staff aren't qualified to answer. This place is not a doctors office. They have a decent selection and decent prices, but you're expected to know what you need and why you need it.

The staff in the store are so incredibly knowledge...

The staff in the store are so incredibly knowledgeable about the products they carry. I have had such tremendous help from them on numerous injuries and very grateful for this place. I've even come here to have the medical devices given to me by the actual clinic readjusted by the staff here once the swelling and things had gone down. They really know what they're doing, and I'll help you with processing purchases for insurance or workers comp whenever they can.

Very disappointing. Bought a de-adhesive spray pro...

Very disappointing. Bought a de-adhesive spray product that gave me an allergic reaction and didn't even work very well. When I explained the issues I was told that there had been no complaints about the product in 25 years and there was no satisfaction guarantee so I would not be granted a refund. Since there was no refund policy stated in store or on the invoice I didn't anticipate this. The product had to be in new and usable condition, after being only used once I was told this was no longer the case and i could get the product sent back to me. I told them to give it to someone else and they returned by saying it could only be disposed of. So...my product purchased only two days before in is the garbage. I will be referring my patients elsewhere and letting my friends know in the professional and amateur sports not to visit their business.

A different staff member has looked after me each time I've been in their shop, to purchase a leg brace and to have it adjusted (as the straps stretch). Each has impressed me with their product knowledge - knowing exactly how it should fit, what it should feel like when you wear it, and recognizing when it's not quite right just by watching you walk.

Excellent selection of anything medical you might ...

Excellent selection of anything medical you might need. Things are a little bit pricey here, but it s because of the high quality. They sell some excellent ice packs that are better than the ones I normally use, staying colder for longer while still being flexible. They also carry all of the niche medical equipment you might need for various injuries

Great overall experience, was helped by Phil who was really helpful with selecting my insoles for my shoes. Made sure he explained the differences between the different brands and was very helpful for me! I would recommend checking this place out for any medical supplies.

Terrible service. One of the few stores which uses...

Terrible service. One of the few stores which uses a "take a number" system in order to get service AND TO CHECK OUT. Ridiculous the slowness to actually pay for an item. Numerous times I have seen new customers confused by this number system and just wait in line forever.

I have ordered medical supplies from this facility. Very professional and friendly staff, timely response and got my couriered goods, in less then 72 hours after placing my order.

Will place my orders again with them, in the future. Highly recommended for their services, based on price, customer service, shipping and delivery time. 5 *

Been sending my patients here for years, and final...

Been sending my patients here for years, and finally for the first time went myself for one of my family members. So happy I did. Very professional and caring staff. An unbelievable amount of medical products, the like of which I didn't even know existed. The place is busy, as is the Pan Am Clinic, but you can see why. Even though there were at least 15 people being helped in the store, there had to be 25 staff running around helping them and in the offices. Keep it going!

We utilize Diamond for the majority of our clinic supplies and patient rehab equipment. They are always beyond friendly and helpful. We receive our orders very quickly. If they don't have what we are looking for, they always offer an alternative. We are so thankful to have them close by. We highly recommend them!

Called about a problem with one of our hydroculators and they automatically offered to pick it up and look at it for us.. no questions asked! By far the easiest time I've had trying to get an appliance fixed!

Awful customer service. I bought sets of massage l...

Awful customer service. I bought sets of massage linens and within 2 washes, the fitted sheets had areas that became thin, and one sheet had holes. I went to return them, and was told the only person who could process returns was on holiday and would call me in one week. 1.5 weeks later, she gets back to me and says she had other massage therapists who use that brand of linens look at it, and the holes lined up with rubber feet so they think I closed up my table with the sheets still on it, and stains are normal. I said those aren't stains, the fabric is just thinned. She said "you can't just jam all 4 sets into your washing machine" (I did not do that). I don't understand why I'm getting questioned and argued with, and she said that the manufacturer would ask them these questions, that's why she has to ask. I said it shouldn't matter, I'm dissatisfied with the product, to which she told me satisfaction is not guaranteed on this product.

Whether or not the manufacturer will refund you is irrelevant and shouldn't be made to be your customer's problem, you should just give refunds and eat the cost, that's the cost of doing business. This was my first experience buying from Diamond Athletics, and it will be my last. I certainly won't send my clients here, and I'll be making all future purchases at Equip.

Called Diamond athletics this afternoon to see if ...

Called Diamond athletics this afternoon to see if they had any used crutches for my client who recently experienced the loss of a limb and has extremely limited finances. Diamond was immediately very open to discuss the matter and asked me to hold while they looked into whether or not they had used crutches. The lovely woman returned to the phone and advised she was unable to locate any used crutches, however, she wanted to provide my client with a new pair of crutches at no cost. This is such a kind and altruistic gesture on the behalf of Diamond Athletics who are an example of an organization that understands importance of helping those who are less fortunate. Thanks again Diamond Athletics you rock!
