I cant say enough about DFW Security!! I had A problem with my thermostat which would not come on. They sent a tech out by the name of Larry R who was very professional. He looked at all possibilities and after his accessment replaced it a new one. He made sure everything was to my liking and took time to answer all my questions which you dont find that much anymore. I would highly recommend DFW and Larry R

Michael was extremely professional and patient. I am not very tech savvy and Michael took all the time I needed to explain how to work my alarm. Thanks Michael.

A little misled on my initial phone call to order service, made it right though. Sales people should talk to the technicians more often so they don t sell you something that doesn t exist. Larry (technician that installed system) was great. Thorough, well mannered, patient, and did a great job. Much appreciated.

Larry did a great job installing our security today. He took time to explain every step and made sure all my questions were answered. I love that every time I have called, I am able to speak to a real person and they are always incredibly helpful. Collin answered all my questions on the phone and really took the time to understand what we wanted and even made some helpful suggestions.

Initially I was not entirely convinced we should sign up with DFW Security, but Harry Porter walked us through the services and ensured we received the proper care we need.

Trey did an excellent job on our doorbell camera install. And explained how everything worked as well

This is our 2nd home to have DFW Security install our alarm system. WE love using the smart system with our phones. It is very easy to use and was very thoroughly explained by our installer, Scott. All customer service has been excellent quality. We are so impressed with this company that we are recommending to our parents they get a system upgrade from what they currently-don't use- to one with DFW. They can benefit from the medical alert pendants, and the wellness package. Thank you for a job well done!

Had a great experience with DFW Security. Caesar discussed many different options in regards to setting up a plan that was best for my family. Larry came out the next day to install the system. He was very professional and also answered all questions I had on the technical side. Very positive first impression that I hope continues!

The service is good and the monitoring and prices are great but if you need a technician to come out the service is very poor. I represent a business and if you wish to add devices like motion detectors or additional door alarms they have often failed when it comes to follow up from their employees. I have been experiencing this poor followup for 2 years.

Trey did an outstanding job of installing alarm and equipment as well as explaining everything to me. He exceeded expectations and was friendly throughout the whole process.

We have used DFW since moving into our new home 3 years ago. We recently added some additional features. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because what I was told the system was going to be able to do by the sales girl was not correct. When I asked the installation person about these missing functions I learned the options I inquired about would cost more money. We decided against those items. Speaking of installation- Larry our installer was great! He was professional, polite and kept me informed of his progress. He took the time to answer all of my questions. A few days later I had more questions and when I called Josh from the technical team was excellent and able to resolve my issues. Larry did end up coming back for a quick adjustment and now everything is perfect! Thank you DFW Security!

Larry was great! He didn t rush through it, he made sure everything was the way we wanted it and walked us through all of our options. He was very respectful of our space and time.

I am extremely pleased with my sales rep, Jeremy. He did a great job of explaining everything to me in regards to the new upgraded panel that we received by going with him. It was definitely an upgrade over the Brinks system that we had. Installation was a breeze as well and the gentleman who installed our equipment was extremely nice and helpful as well. I would certainly recommend going with DFW Security, especially because their price point is probably the best in our area. I m already working on my list of people to refer to Jeremy so he can get them installed as well. My only regret is that I did not know about them earlier as I would have canceled my service with Brinks a long time ago.

My system was installed yesterday and I want to brag on my technician Mike. He went above and beyond even fixing a pre-existing issue with my front door to make sure it made for a smoother operation. He was friendly and personable and even tried to get my shy and scared dogs to warm up to him. After install he helped me set up all the settings on the hub as well as the app. The equipment is good quality, responsive, and highly customizable. So far my wife and I have been very impressed with DFW Security and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Larry, our technician, was very thorough. He explained everything to us in detail and we felt very comfortable with our system after he left. Highly recommend!

We have been DFW customers for over 5 years now. We have been very pleased with the service they have given us. The technician who installed our first system was courteous and very helpful in explaining the features of the system. We later upgraded to the 2-Gig system so that we could add our thermostat and several security cameras. The tech took great care to install the cameras exactly the way we wanted them. He also took the time to show us all the features on the app and website.

The one time we had an issue with a camera, all it took was a phone call to get help to fix the problem. Everyone I've ever spoken to at the company has been incredibly friendly and helpful.

We love our 2 gig system and being able to view our cameras from our phones. When we went on vacation recently and forgot to turn off the AC, we were able to do it from the app. We can't imagine living without our system now!

Today Larry came to my home and installed my security system. He was very knowledgeable and was able to me insight in to different products DFW Security offers. I also appreciated how Larry was concerned with my internet connection and made a point to explain all of the pros and cons of how that would affect one of my products. Overall, Larry was extremely helpful and it didn t hurt any that he was a Cowboys fan! We talked about the game Sunday and our chances in the playoffs. He also was very patient because my Internet SUCKS!!! Larry was amazing though and hope he comes out and does any repairs or upgrades I get in the future. GREAT JOB LARRY!

Great customer service! We have used DFW Security for several years and just upgraded to the newest smart system. Installer was very helpful and professional.

They came out and had to change to our new internet provider and set our cameras up to lower our data usage. Awesome job today.

i recently found myself a situation where I obtain security service from DFW Security. I thought my previous company's contract had expired because I notified them verbally that i did not want to renew my contract.However, in their contract I had to notify them in a written letter 2 months prior. If it's not done that way and the expiration date comes up it automaticlly enter's one to another contract with them for 18 months. I tried to get them to release me from their contract but they were not having none of that unless i pay an early cancellation fee of $800.00. I then turned to DFW Security and explained my situation. they were great. their rep. Jennifer listen to my situation. she notified her manager and they agreed to let me out of their contract without a fee. This let me know DFW Security is not there just for the money. They really care about your interest! I WILL BE BACK. Do not do business with Texas Security.

Our tech, Omar Motolinia, was unbelievable. He not only fixed our issue, but he took the time to explain why we were experiencing the problem and how it was resolved. We have used several other security companies in the past, but DFW Security is easily the best. We would recommend using them for all your security needs.

DFW security has exceeded my expectations with great customer service on the phone and the techs coming to check my system. They call immediately when my alarms goes off and show concern of my family's safety.

Bought a house with DFW Security equipment already installed and can't stand them. Their equipment goes out every 3-4 months then they conveniently push their extended service plan every time. I had SimpliSafe and Smith Thompson before and really wish I had just paid for their equipment and gone with them over DFW Security.

UPDATE: while the above statement is true, after having the system for several years, I am totally displeased with the quality of cameras they use. More than half the time when you go to look at the camera, there s an error message for you to then troubleshoot. Also, they don t capture everything. Dog or person fall in pool, of course it doesn t capture. I don t feel very confident that it would even capture a burglar. We have excellent internet service so they can t blame it on that. We have Wyze cameras all over the inside of the house and they never fail us. I would strongly recommend Wyze. They are inexpensive, but excellent quality. Yes I have called DFW Security regarding the problem and they ll reset something and say you re good, but it won t be long until it s back to error messages again. This is my opinion, but I d strongly suggest looking at all your options before going with DFW Security for their cameras.

I was not happy with my previous alarm system. While listening to The Fan radio station they kept talking about DFW Security so I looked them up. I called and asked questions only to realize that I could get more protection for less than what I paid my other provider. Larry R was my install tech and he did a great job. He was very efficient and explained things clearly. I excited about using and learning my new system. Thanks Larry

Very pleased with DFW Security. Whenever I ve had a question or concern, they have been there to help. I ve had an issue with a couple of pieces of equipment, which ended up having to be replaced. But, my contact with Josh in tech support and also Josh, the technician who came out to the house was great. They were both responsive to the situation and ready to get the situation corrected. For looking after the customer, DFW Security gets 5 stars from me.

Stay away from this company!! You get low grade service for the low monthly fees they charge. Had a break in at my location and received the call after 3 min ( thief had already left with stuff) When inquired why we got call so late it was told to me my system was old and because of the phone line there was a delay in calling. I don t understand when they sign the contract nothing was told to us but it was signed immediately. Now they told me if we remove the phone line and install their wireless system ($135 for the equipment & monthly increase from $13.95 to $16.95) there won t be any issue. After much argument that didn t work in my favor i told then to install a wireless system so my premises is secured and i get call immediately if there is a break in again. They immediately charged me over the phone but sent the technician after 2 days( so 2 days there was no security at my location which didn t bothered them) When the technician came and installed the wireless system and we we tested it was the same we still received call from monitoring company after 3-4 min. The reason was given to me that it s peak time and they are experiencing heavy call volume at this time(5.30pm CST) So this shows they just sold me their wireless equipment and made money but my problem still remains the same. The technician just kept on arguing with me and said he can t do anything else. Better stay away from this company. They just attract customers with offering low monthly charges but dont offer good service and mid way when u have signed the contract you can t even leave them. Be ware!!

I had a problem with the camera doorbell. They came out on time and fixed the problem quickly. I love my alarm system.

Larry was very helpful, explained new products but was not pushy about selling the products, and he didn't hover while my wife and I discussed the new products.

Been happy with the service but just received a letter saying someone else is taking over my account. They essentially sold my account to the highest bidder. Now I have to create a new account with this company I ve never heard of and have no experience with, nor wanted to. If I planned on being with this company I would ve signed with them in the first place, not been pawned off on. Obviously not very happy with recent events and will be canceling with whomever my account is with once my contract is up.

Edit: to your response, you sold off my account to a company I had no previous knowledge of. Not to mention the hassle is creating an entire new account with this random company. Again, had a wanted to be with this company I was sold to, I would ve picked them in the beginning.

Worse service! I was advised that equipment would be waived for install and only need to pay monthly service fee due to special promo. However when they came out and installed nothing was included. I was then charged because I had exsisting equipment which I disclosed when I called initially. Horrible!!!!

The technician took his time and did a great job. He was very thorough, and informative on eventhing he did. I appreciate him starting on such a job at 5 o'clock, and staying until 8:30. If I have to have someone come back for anything, I would request him every time!!!!

We have used this company for 3 years and have had great customer service every time. We just moved to a new home and they had a very easy transition between the two houses. Larry showed up on time and explained how everything worked and did a outstanding job on the new instillation of our system.
