The guy that did my install, did a great job. Checked everything and made sure everything was correct and up to snuff before he left. All round good guy, very professional, personable, showed up on time. No complaints with the install man.

You would be happy to give 5 stars to the experience of being treated like a real human being through every experience with a company. That's how DFT employees have been treating me, as they set me up with their internet service. Timely, good communication, and friendly professionals.
Our part of Cattaraugus County has traditionally been generally off the map as far as internet service is concerned, with the only options being satellite or cellular wireless. Both of these are relatively costly, and come with severe data and overall performance limits. DFT has extended wireless coverage into much of Otto and East Otto and continues to reach more households steadily, offering a dramatically better product. Our installation was a difficult one--Otto has lots of difficult spots--but it went smoothly and professionally and works great. Customer service is friendly and responsive and we couldn't be more pleased.
Polite staff way above. Spectrum late for my installation but fast when they finally arrived at the end of my appt window which wasn't made aware of. My installation was set for 10 when I called at @ 10:30 they informed yit was a 10-1 window I was not told this when I set up my appt the installers were nice but unplugged my time Warner phone in which I was waiting for a call from my neruoligist I missed it as I figured out my phone was unplugged on Sunday
I appreciate that when I call for service, I can easily talk to a person. Everyone is helpful and response is quick. They also follow up to make sure issues are resolved. I would highly recommend DFT.
I recently was contacted about the review I made on Google and spoke to a representative who was helpful and explained some of the issues I had with the initially installation. They were very upfront about how to assist and even guided me on how to follow through with the process.
I wanted to edit the review and bump it up to 4 stars. I was a little frustrated at first and needed a little guidance. I do plan on implementing the directions given to me. They did provide a price to switch over to using my own router if I'm unable to do it on my own. It's a bit steep ($75.00), but considering it $10.00 to rent a router through them, and compared to Spectrum, it's not as bad as I initially imagined.
I've had no issues since switching from Spectrum. I would recommend this company. Installers were friendly and did their part of the job.
I would avoid DFT at all costs!! They talked us into a yearly contract for IT services for my business that cost thousands a year, and there was no way to track what they actually did. We asked multiple times for monthly updates on what work was performed, and they couldn't even give us that.We had several other issues that we brought to their attention and they were never fixed. When we canceled our contract. which we paid in full at the beginning of the year, they sent us a bill afterwards for a minimal amount of money. When I asked if they could use the thousands of unused dollars for the second half of the year on our contract, I was denied. The techs are friendly and try to help, same with the customer service agents, but it is obvious the owners care nothing about their customers and only seek to squeeze as much money as they can out of you. There are several other smaller locally owned companies that I have heard great things about, go with one of them. As I said, avoid DFT at all costs!
