DeVry Review

I am currently enrolled in an equally accredited university to obtain my MAcc; however, I'm wanting to take two outside courses with Devry/Keller to transfer into my current university. I am a Certified Management Accountant with nearly 10 years of experience, and I've maintained nearly a 4.0 throughout my undergraduate/graduate classes. I was just told that Devry/Keller will not accept me as a student because my undergraduate degree was with a college that does not hold the same accreditation as Devry--they view me as not having an undergraduate degree. I am mind-blown that they would turn away what would be an asset to their school! I'm not even wanting to enter a specific program or obtain a degree from their school--I'm just wanting to take two classes to improve my education. Super disappointed in their prejudiced behavior!

I have not attended DeVry and know very little about a specific billing/coding program there from the admissions representative that called me with information.

Here is the short story how I heard about DeVry and was contacted by Christi

I happened to attend a job fair and came across a kind representative of DeVry university. I have never heard of this university prior to that fair.

In my pursue of a second Graduate Degree DeVry representative suggested to me to leave my info and be contacted by admissions for further info.

I was contacted by a precious, proffesional and kind hearted woman by the name of
Christine Ridge | Senior Executive Admissions Advisor/Advocate

We communicated 3 times and along these lines I informed Christine that I have decided to continue in mybfueld of education, this time with early childhood unified Birth to kindergarten graduate program at KU, where I live in Kansas.
Christine was very supportive and wished me best of luck.

Attending this University is an excellent experience, especially if get Dr. Al as a professor! He is a Statistics/Math professor and truly makes the learning fun as well as easy!

DeVry Naperville is a great location to have a class. I've had a few at this location and everyone is very helpful and friendly. I also love that they have a covered parking garage attached to the building for those winter or raining months.

Very happy that there was an onsite class offered here instead of taking one online.

Professor Nichelle Manuel made Database Essentials for Business w/ Lab worth every hour taking this class valuable. Her instruction during the lectures made everything that i read just *Click* every week. Her patience with the class really came through when a classmate needed help to clarify a task in our Lab. She made the class easy to understand and learning a new program very valuable. this class has helped me in my career by helping me improve on my relationships at my current employer by knowing how the program taught is the same one used at my place of employment. Thank you professor and thank you DeVry.

I have been attending DeVry for about three years now, and I have to say that I have enjoyed it very much! The counselors are very helpful when assisting you and helping find out what it is you want to accomplish from DeVry. I wouldn't know what to do without mine! Almost all of the teachers have been wonderful, and if you have a problem, they are all easily solved.

Bad customer service with financing department.

I started attending DeVry's online program about 4 months ago and just finished up my second class. I'm happy to say that their online program works very well for me. There is plenty of teacher/student interaction with professors who really go all out to help students with issues, questions, or concerns. They are awesome.

Received my bachelors of science in technical management degree with a concentration in HR management. And I have to say it s good to know that it s aligned with SHRM requirements. I have been receiving a ton of interviews. I will say it s a bit expensive but it s is a privet school so can t really complain there I suppose. I would say the quality of my education was pretty good and challenging.

This school has many ups and downs.

- many class options.
-quick classes
- staff works with my needs
- got to do hands on coding with new programs
-had an entierly fun based class that was also educational (programming an esp2866
- awesome teachers.
-small classes

cons
-I hate the drive( but listen to podcasts on the way)
-8 week classes are super fast paced
-not likely to make many friends
-you may not like the mixed online and campus classes.

One ending note. I came from AU, a private school that i had good scholarships with. I've always been bad at school and worse with collage and switched as a hail marry. I struggled the first term but now I am finding success at devry! maybe i was lucky, maybe it was the schools interesting method of operation. Thank you for reading, I was asked to write this but i'm writing these words away from all staff or other students.

Professor Lauren Deane has been a wonderful teacher. I really enjoyed this semester with her. She always gives the best feedback and really strives to help her students be the best they can be. Thank you for a great semester, professor! You're awesome!

I ve been Prof. Lauren Deane s critical thinking class and I love every minute! She takes her time out to email all of us individually to see how we are doing, and tell us how we re doing a good job, very encouraging and always answers her emails right away. If you plan on taking a critical thinking class, definitely recommend her!

I had a great class and an awesome professor, Lauren Deane for my Critical Thinking class, very empathic and caring, took her time to make sure you learned. I loved her personality,, my first class and first great experience, will always remember her.

My school experience at Keller has been great from the start and I can honestly say it has been mainly due to the awesome faculty and professors.

My last class Applied Managerial Statistics (Math534) just ended and it was again evident that because of professors like Dr. Al, who has the patience to teach and listen to students needs, that I was able to learn a lot more that I thought I would.

I simply want to say thank you and keep up the great work you do for students on site and on line.

This was my first onsite class with DeVry. I have had such a great experience with my senior project class here at Naperville. Being that it was my first time, I had to get an ID and receive a quick orientation. The onsite staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In this session, our class was granted the permission to occasionally use the Addison campus for access to the tech playground for our presentations. Our innovative teacher, Professor Rucks, encouraged us to explore and utilize the facility to aid in our course work. When I needed academic advice and assistance, Mr. Dufresne, Assistant Dean of Academic Excellence, made himself immediately available and went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. I have really enjoyed my time here!

Took creative writing with Professor Lauren Deane and it was a great experience. High level of engagement and dedication. Would recommend taking any of her courses as they are educational.

Honestly, 1 star is give Devry justice! For the last 2 years I have been tormented and harassed over a bill I received due an error that Devry made when I was enrolled in the wrong semester. God knows I have tried countless times and left numerous messages to try and get this error resolved then and now. And still no response. But I have be contacted countless times by a third party credit company. I remembered the day I enrolled everyone claimed to be so helpful, that the wanted to see students Excel but that was so far from the truth. I pray that students and future students take a second to really consider if they are ready to devote their time and money in a school who is only interested money and not education.

I am so impressed with Professor Deane, she is a amazing professor. THe kindness and support is truly from the heart. She cares about your success. I can tell you that she is a great help when you need her guidance. Professor Lauren Deane is an exceptional Educator. I would definitely take her class even if you don't require it. The influence that she provides to help you to your success is impeccable. Definitely a 5*****'s for Professor Lauren Deane !!!! DeVry is an amazing university.
