Everyone had great personalities, was cheerful and eager to assist the customers. Great customer service!! Actually the best customer service that I ever experienced. I don t regret splurging on an $800 watch. This company s products are made in Detroit. I m glad that I supported a Detroit made company. I hope Shinola will be here for eternity. This was my first time purchasing anything and I will be a returning customer.

Fantastic place and I love watches so it was right up my alley.

I brought my coworker's ruined chronograph watch in to the Canfield Store to see if they could do anything for it. The thing was totally WRECKED - I mean destroyed beyond all hope. I thought they would take one look at it and laugh in my face. To my surprise, they offered to fix it under warranty for no charge. By fix I mean send it back to the factory and completely rebuild it. Two weeks later I picked the watch up and it was like new! I can t say enough how happy I am with Shinola as a company. The store is always immaculate and the staff are phenomenal. There is surely a strict attention to detail in their high-quality products. If I didn t already own two of their watches I would buy another in a heartbeat.

This place is so cool. Great coffee, cool merchandise ranging from watches to bicycles to mechanical pencils. Everyone is really nice, almost to a fault. They also host a lot of fun events including occasional DJs. Great place to shop or just simply hang out.

Very cool experience, even if you can't afford the watches.

I ve been looking for a good watch for my boyfriend and Shinola has made the experience way easier. I know nothing about watches but Colin has taken the time to learn about my boyfriend and help me find the perfect one. Love this store.

Great customer service. Friendly and helpful staff. All of their items look great, though they are pricy. The location is surrounded by a couple cool stores across the street and Filson and Third Man next door.

I wrote a very detailed summary of my experience, due to technical difficulties, it disappeared, so all I have to say is that I had a very Interestin visit on this particular unbusy day...those that I interacted with are not very good at communicatin and I spent a awful long time in this store to buying two items jus wondering why is this takin so long. They ordered me a drink, however the person who ordered it left and by the time I asked about it, no one knew what I was talking about. I jus feel that everyone was all over the place and it was like no one wanted to talk, I was there to get service and to purchase....

The Shinola store is at the heart of the resurgent midtown Detroit, and they were the early core around which other cool shops and restaurants gathered. That alone is worth a good review, but the real reason they're so popular in Detroit right now is their watches - a large variety assembled in the city of Detroit, and their bicycles - classic cruisers. Both the watches and bicycles are attractive, well made, and guaranteed to invite the question "Hey, is that a Shinola?"

Love this place the customer service was the best by far from any other retailer.

This was a customer service and Christmas experience we will never forget. I bought my kids watches for Christmas and Beth, Cayman and the whole store made it great ! Thank you all so much.

Had help from Renee Thompson today and a lot of help from another young lady that I think her name was Renee as well at the Detroit mid town store. I bought a white Detroit Arrow bicycle and a ladies watch as raffle prizes for a charitable event I am helping to facilitate. These ladies where awesome! Great experience today. Will go back to see them at some point and buy some more stuff.

A kind of eclectic mix of very high quality goods. Leather products, watches, clocks, and bicycles. I noticed a high degree of detail and quality, but that is also reflected in the cost.

Really enjoyed working with Alice. She helped out our company group who were there in recognition of our longevity of service. She handled 5 people well, and I enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate on a cold Michigan day. #Shinola

A fun place just to visit if your into high end audio, quality watches, or cool bikes. A complimentary coffee upon arrival was a nice touch, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll come again next time I'm in town.

It's huge inside with many different departments. Watches, bags, bikes, flowers. Nice place to shop.

I just bought the worst cup of coffee in my life lucky it only cost me $3.30 gave two stars because the two gentlemen who friendly coffee was bitter just not good it was a pour over and it wasn't very hot buyer beware

This shop nearly screwed me out of a $600 gift card due to an error on their end. Would not recommend.

Gorgeous showroom that pays homage to Detroit's long heritage for handcrafted goods: leather bound journals, shiny copper bicycles, and handsome timepieces.

There's a cafe in site and plenty of sales associates to answer your questions. You can monogram your purchase for free.

Customer Service was awesome! You can also buy Detroit made eats and treats. Didn't get a chance to grab a cup a coffee but plenty of customers walked the store with coffee in tow. Can't wait to go back.

The store has significantly expanded their product categories and selection making this an even better experience than ever before. Now you can listen to their audio equipment ( headphones, speakers, turntables), enjoy all their leather accessories, jewelry, bikes, flowers and as usual their extensive selection and customization options for their watches.

Before expanding I found myself browsing around for 20 minutes and walking out without having bought anything. Now they have so many interesting handcrafted items with so much variety and price points that I spent over an hour taking it all in. They've added a really cool watch customization area where you can select a watch face then with the help of staff, swap out different bands and straps to uniquely customize your watch the way you want it.

This is pinnacle of cool shopping experiences!

Had a Shinola watch that I scratched when I fell. Took it in and was immediately impressed with the store s layout and cool look. Everyone was friendly. They were able to fix the watch during the time it took to sit and enjoy a coffee in their cafe. Great place and highly recommend!

This place is urban fashion Disneyland. It's hard to convince oneself that anything in the store can possibly be worth the prices they charge, but there's no denying that the wallets, bags, and bikes are handsome and fashionable. The bikes and watches are assembled in store. If you've got the time, also check out the coffee shop in the corner. It's probably the best one on the street.

Go see Alyssa Goch she's amazing and so knowledgeable about all the products in her store she knows her watches the leather products and we started talking about the bicycles and she knows her stuff is all i can say

Watch and other random paraphernalia. Hipster paradise. Great cafe at this location and also had complimentary whiskey and vodka for everyone just browsing. Take your time and you might find the complement to your flannel shirt and pbr!

REALLY REALLY impressed with the level of service I received from Sheeve (sorry not sure on spelling!) at the Detroit store today. I was looking for an item that was out of stock online and in other stores that I called. I called the Detroit store, and while they did not have it in stock, Sheeve was able to locate the item in the New York store. I also needed the item within a week and Sheeve was able to mark it as a rush delivery, saving me time and the stress of figuring out an alternative gift. I am really impressed considering the other store I called (Somerset) simply said they did not have it and offered no other assistance. As a business owner and customer, I am impressed that Sheeve and the Detroit store went the extra mile to actually solve the problem! Thank you!!!

The apple store of expensive watches and bicycles. The immidiate surrounding area is extremely upscale, while it tapers off rather quickly a few blocks out

Really fun place to visit and browse around. Shinola goods are generally pricey, though with beautiful design and high quality. They do have a number of low cost items available, like notebooks, if you want to leave with something without spending big $$. Also a coffee bar inside so you can grab a drink while you are there!

Staff went above and beyond to get me the exact watch I was looking for. When I'd called in the morning about the Petoskey stone watch I got a lot of very detailed information I was looking for. Late that day when I went into the store, I got a lot of help picking out a watch, matching bands, etc. Until they finally tracked down a Petoskey stone watch! I was blown away and so grateful for the staffs help to make that happen! Thank you!

Absolutely the most beautifully designed retail experiences in Michigan. It is worth a visit just to experience the store, enjoying a coffee and browsing the merchandise. Beautiful watches and leather goods and a custom monogramming service to top it off!
