What a beautiful moment in this museum of confluences! We loved everything about the temporary and permanent exhibitions. you have to go there absolutely! Very practical TRAM T1. Don't forget to go up to the 4th floor to observe the magnificent view of Lyon

Horrible museum both aesthetically and museographically. A concern for the conservation of pieces with visible vibrations of significant amplitude: in the display cases for birds, and the mammoth rib which oscillates dangerously!
The cafeteria is the opposite of welcoming. All construction finishes leave something to be desired: major cracks everywhere.

Very nice museum with children regarding the permanent collection. Some rooms have little interest. Warm welcome despite the austere interior. Too bad the cafeteria of the 4th is so small. We appreciated the free for children and disabled person.

This is a very new museum which doesn t have a fixed theme which is not really a problem for me. It s not a very big museum and you could cover it in 2-3 hours. Don t forget to go to level 4 to see the awesome view from the rooftop.

A rambling journey, very succinct explanations and sententious sentences addressed to the modern man guilty of all the evils of our world. The only ones to have understood everything live in the depths of the forests, covering themselves with a loincloth! In short, this museum is only an anecdotal and decentralized copy of the Guimet Museum, the Quai Branly and the museum of natural stories. Dispensable.

Exceptional place! Modern, beautiful spaces with temporary and permanent exhibitions.
During a trip to lyon it is essential to visit this magnificent place
The price is only 9 for adults free for students and under 18s.

We took the reduced ticket from 17h to 6euros and thinking to make a visit of 2h until closing at 19h, error, the museum closes at 18h45! Take a good look at the paper docs provided and remember to validate your ticket to enjoy the parking at 50%, otherwise it stings quickly.

So I put 4 stars even though this museum deserves 5 stars because I've never been a big fan of museums but that's just my opinion. The welcome is secure and friendly, there are 4 floors in the museum with a gourmet counter at the top with a nice view of Lyon, Fourviere, the Rhone, the Saone ... The prices are expensive but not too abusive ( 2 The ice cream but the seller who served me made them big, a shortbread or a hot drink). I think if you really want to see everything in detail in ALL the museum it takes 2 days to visit but it is impossible. If not I think a day down would be nice, for lunch, there are bagels at 4 50. To conclude this museum deserves 5 stars, its architecture is incredible and the atmosphere in each room is very immersive (the creation of the earth, prehistory, dinosaurs, the world ... etc). I think it's still something to do if you come to Lyon. I hope I could have enlightened people and enjoy!

Without any interest. Ugly architecture with a view of the highway ... as for the collections, I still did not understand what they presented. I saw Seb and Moulinex robots (and Krups too I think). You might as well go to the nearest Leclerc appliance department, considering that this is a "Ready Made Art" department. And you will save 9 euros for a similar result.

Building at exorbitant cost, for a very questionable result, a very confined atmosphere, rooms too small, no windows ... Disappointed, despite some interesting exhibitions, but which are more entertainment than the culture itself.

The architecture is breathtaking. Here someone has really let off steam. The shapes, the appearance of the material and the perspectives that arise - everything feels like the future. The interior is very tidy, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The exhibition itself has very high demands (the four big questions of human existence (who, where, where, why?)) - and unfortunately it has to fail. It is very eclectic in sections shown where life comes from. Time and again, you find interesting examples of what people have done or done. Nevertheless, the questions can not even be answered in the beginning (who is surprised?). For children certainly very exciting. We adults would have wished us a future-oriented exhibition that suited the architecture. Who knows, maybe you work on it ...
A little note: there are no garbage cans, not even in the toilets ... of course this is very futuristic, but unfortunately impractical.

Great Lyon museum. Two exhibitions. The perm at level 2 is a kind of natural history museum. I loved. The current temporary exhibition on level 1 interested me less.

Adult visit for 9 euros without audio guide.
Visit in 2h30.
