The permanent exhibition is a real success that invites reflection at the crossroads of myths, science, nature. It asks us about our place in the cosmos its future our culture our values past and present may be coming. The exhibition is also very attractive and educational for children. I did not have time from 11h to 16h to see the rest ...
The least management of the public (about an hour in the queue) I strongly advise to book your ticket in advance to reduce this delay a little.
Traffic in the installed barriers seems hastily leaving people freezing outside.
Multiple obstacles and passages condemned by ridiculous plastic chains.
The cafeteria too small ....
A small organization unfortunately in the continuity of the Pharaonic cost of the project 306 million for an initial budget of 60 seems it!
the devil is hiding in the details which remain easily perfectible according to the affluences. ..
I was going to forget at the top you will have a beautiful panorama.

I cannot recommend this museum. I have been all around the world and the service I met here was really terrible. In order to leave your bag, you need to buy a ticket. In order to buy a ticket, you need to go through the security. The security guard started to put all the things out, very uncomfortable for me. At some point, I just decided to stop it and leave.
They do not speak English and are not interested in clients at all. Very disappointing for this kind of museum.

One of my best experiences in Lyon. The building itself is just beautiful .. perfectly integrated architecture and the interior invites you to explore. You will spend an average of 3 hours if you want to take the time to observe, read, discover and enjoy. The exhibitions are well highlighted and the human and animal reproductions are breathtaking. A must for the Lyon stroll (don't forget the kids!)

The architecture is incredible.

The architecture is incredible.
The view from the roof is magnificent.
The rooftop coffee is good but a bit expensive (water syrup at 2 ).
The permanent exhibition is truly magnificent. There are very nice pieces and a lot of explanatory videos. It will take a long time if you want to watch them all.
The temporary exhibitions in early June were nice to see although I did not do the one in the prison. "The world upside down" is the most striking as humor is present.

I enjoyed learning that the stuffed animals came from the Lyon zoo and not from hunting.

This is everything a museum should be today. Surprising, challenging, stimulating, inviting, breaking boundaries. Then place another impressive building in a unique location (where Rhone and Saone merge. And you have a scenario for a success story. Science but without being pedantic. From so many points of view that it makes you think. Set up successful, I would say.

A modern museum with a great architecture which loses the charm of a museum, the space is important but it seems empty even with several temporary exhibitions ... too bad the permanent collection is interesting.

A very nice museum, really a great day. A very warm welcome, very pleasant and friendly people at the various controls. Even the surveillance officers are very pleasant.
We did this tour with our 12 year old grandson. He loved it.
For the midday meal we went up to the fourth floors, various proposals at reasonable prices. A very pleasant view of Lyon.
The really affordable rates, we must emphasize the free of - 18 years.
Bravo for the day spent in all the exhibition spaces.

The building is great. The exhibition is worth seeing, but I have to deduct a point for the non-functioning app. Even after 10x reboot it just does not load the appropriate content of the rooms and you have to read everything. Since the traditional audio guide would be recommended! Pity

An absolute highlight in Lyon. The architecture alone is a feast for the eyes and a highlight for photographers who like to photograph architecture. The panoramic roof offers a great view of the city. The exhibitions are permanent or alternate with different topics. Very well presented and attracts young and old in its spell. Anyone who is hungry to look at many, then goes to the brasserie and can enjoy great dishes in a very good and simple but tasteful atmosphere. Absolutely go

Come and visit the "Cloud" !!!

Come and visit the "Cloud" !!!

Inside this magnificent building, you can of course visit permanent or temporary exhibitions (in principle, 4 in number). Your children will be able to participate in practical workshops, upon registration.

This museum has of course a shop which will offer you, books and original articles of good quality.
This establishment also offers architectural tours of the building, conferences, concerts and various activities, all of an excellent standard.
For the Lyonnais, I invite them to take the annual card, it is really very advantageous.
Must visit! ..., Especially with the family, your children will love this museum.

Superb museum to visit absolutely, including the animal room (insects are beautiful ...) with children. In addition to the place, all those responsible for the reception and the surveillance of the rooms are adorable. They were extremely kind to us who arrived late at the museum ...

Much better inside than outside, for my taste ... I visited the first floor only and I liked bp: the Touaregs and the updates on received ideas.
The life, the works of Hugo Pratt, formidable.
Plus, no people, no queues.

Museum very interesting and well done. Small flat it says on the video praising the Olympic performance of Oscar Pistorius, who, remember, murdered his partner in cold blood in 2013. Not terrible.

A superb museum very pleasant to visit in Lyon. It is accessible by tram and has a magnificent souvenir shop. The collections are numerous and diversified, even if it is sometimes difficult to find consecutive numbers x) I was just a little disappointed by the programming of the shows / films, because nothing is really clear on this subject. .. But hey, it's worth going. In addition, the place is 4 for those under 25, which is not much to discover the origin of our universe in an architecturally magnificent building ...
