The best of the museum is its architecture and the views of Lyon from its terrace. Permanent exhibitions are pretty good, especially one about the origin of the earth where you can see and touch meteorites. Thursdays have "night visit". They open until 9:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. normal entrance costs 6.

Superb!

The Guillemet museum had a charm that is sorely lacking in this newEdge industrial space which will find its usefulness much better in contemporary art exhibitions that it does not assume ....
In short before it was better, but that was before (thank you the ambitions of Columbus)!

I could not wait to go and honestly I was not disappointed.

The place is very beautiful and the exhibitions are interesting. I'm thinking of going back because I did not have time to see everything.

1 star for the price: 18 euros to 4, two adults and two children and 5 euros parking for about 2 hours at preferential rate.
Museum very disappointing: incoherence rooms, only temporary exhibitions were interesting (2 rooms out of 4 open).
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST MUSEUM GO THERE, BUT ELSE BECAUSE LOSS OF TIME.

Very nice museum, very impressive because of the wealth of "his" collections ...
Many pieces are unique it's really worth it. The architecture is very interesting and really remodels the Perrache district of the 2nd arrondissement. Attention is a museum of civilization and science
The weak point remains the gigantism of the building but not surprising knowing the local politics. Museum to visit absolutely. Some pictures are present on my profile.

The museum is really very beautiful both in terms of permanent and temporary exhibitions ... Halfway between a museum of anthropology and natural sciences, it has an excellent section that explains the evolution in an exemplary way

For the price and the cost of this ugly thing we could have renovated all the swimming pools in Lyon and built others. Contributing to the prevention of all cardiovascular diseases. Our chosen ones are sold.

Varied and informative exhibitions. The setting is also nice to walk before or after. Ticket management and tour are very fluid. The T1 tram drops us right in front, it's very convenient. Very interesting thank you!

If you want to know your world, your time, and history of Earth formation this place is awesome. There are some rooms not of great interest but the good ones cover them all. Must visit in Lyon.

Very contemporary place that brings together permanent collections and temporary exhibitions on artists and very eclectic themes. Suitable for children. Opportunity to eat on site and walk on the docks at the confluence of the Saone and the Rhone. Easily accessible by tram (stop in front of the museum entrance). Reasonable price. To recommend

Very good place.

Very good place.
The cafeteria, medium.
Better to go there by public transport.

Very nice museum, by its architecture but also its very well designed, educational and interactive content.
My 5 and 7 year olds loved it! U.S. too
Very good advice also from hostesses on rooms suitable for children.

What an utterly charming museum. I liked everything about it; the location, architecture, collection, gift shop, rooftop cafe and delightful ground floor restaurant. Don t visit Lyon without a trip here.

A fantastic museum! The turnkeepers are very friendly and very professional. The price is affordable even if we would have appreciated that the teacher's card is taken. The exhibits are fabulous, especially the one on the head covers around the world that I highly recommend. We also appreciated the monument itself, very design and bright. By cons the output is not found!

Museum standing out from other more conventional institutions, themes and collectibles are interesting and push us to questioning, the mini film session has me more.

However, I find that the temporary exhibitions are not very useful, there is a large number of stuffed animals, which will seem creepy for some. At the end of the visit, I was a bit hungry, from the outside the museum seemed to accommodate more collectibles.

Confluence disappointed me. It was messy. No charm. Often, it's impossible to know what you're looking at ... And then, those incessant "beeps" rather than showcasing!
As much as I could do Guimet in a loop, so much I struggled to finish Confluence. I was tired, irritated by all these "beep" that gave me the headache and frankly disappointed!
Only the cabinet of curiosity found favor in my eyes.

A superb architecture for this recent museum. Numerous permanent (generalist) and temporary exhibitions. Open all week including Sunday. Lack of interactivity and very classic in the presentation of different collections.

Although relatively classic in its approach of the exhibitions, the work of presentation and the graphic care brought to the temporary exhibitions are very pleasant. Children can understand everything without being taken for simple minded people. The perms made me a little less passionate, perhaps because there was a lack of life, or a red thread. But they remain complete and beautiful. The staff is charming!
Attention, it takes two half days if you want to fully enjoy all the work provided by the actors of these beautiful exhibitions!
