"Experience" mi figue - mi raisin: the collections are interesting and quite provided (especially permanent) and the building does not leave indifferent (inside and outside). Nevertheless, there are still dozens of things to improve:
The aisles of the rooms are very narrow, the rooms are very dark, the collections lack of "binding" (we go from the big bang to a fryer SEB (!!!) in 10 minutes ...) and the loss of space in the interior is to compensate ...
Nevertheless, the museum of Confluences remains to be seen. But many details to be settled separate it from other European museums. I put 4 stars for encouragement and the price (very affordable).
To redo in 3/4 years.

This is the third time and I still find this place superb. The exhibition on the invention of cinema is to be seen without delay.

Ideally located, museum, restaurant, snack bar, everything is there to have a good time.

Not a large museum and easy enough to see in few hours. I thought it was going to be about the Lyon rivers or water due to its name, but not at all. Very eclectic themes/artifacts. Beetle and butterfly displays were cool, and quite a few wild animals, but not spectacular. Okay to see if you don't have a whole lot planned in Lyon, but I wouldn't call it a "must see" by any stretch.

Beautiful museum with collections as interesting as impressive! We go from dinosaurs, to the creation of the planet and to the evolution of Man. The museum is brand new! It is quite large, on several floors with different collections including temporary. This allows to return regularly. But above all, it's free for students!

Superb museum, with daring and remarkable architecture, and rich and impressive collections. In addition, the technological means (tablets, etc.) set up are fun and complement the explanations well. Go there if only to see the impressive mammoth skeleton on the 2nd floor! Most: on the 4th floor, beautiful view of Lyon from the roof of the museum, with a restoration point.

The architecture is extremely high. After unfortunately it's a big empty box. The temporary exhibitions were really not or not very interesting. The permanent exhibitions low in quantity are not enough to keep the visitor for a long time in the places. The shop is sad and not very original. We went there last night with the kids it was museum night. And very beautiful as much for children as for ns. We take full eyes, I advise you to go visit it.

The most expensive museum in the world, as for its construction! The permanent collection is that of the former Guimet Museum in Lyon and of limited interest! The Temporary Exhibition on Hugo Pratt and his hero Corto Maltese is fun!

Good, but for the 3rd largest city in France, this museum is a bit "light". Could do better. The permanent exhibitions take place in permanent darkness. Go upmarket! Dare!
