Very interesting museum. Security at the entrance is quite strict and if you carry a suitcase they usually put a lot of problems.
The entrance to the museum bar is free, it is on the top floor and there is a very nice view of Lyon. It is worth entering to see the museum's architecture as well. The exhibitions are not bad, they have 4 permanent exhibitions and then some temporary ones. The entry includes them all and is not expensive at all.

Exciting place. I have known at other times the Guimet Museum and the Lumiere Museum. I find that the enhancement of their collections is beautifully done here. Bravo!!! In addition the interest of the museum is raised by the presence of the brewery where we ate very well.

Access to the museum by car is difficult and paid parking. I happily decided to come by bus. Having taken my entry on the Internet, no wait. Of course, the plan vigie hacker slowed the traffic but it is so everywhere.
For the museum, it's perfect, intimate, well explained with a logical progression, multimedia information of very good quality and within reach of children. The 5 stars are attributed specifically to the content. I take a subscription as soon as possible because I have not yet seen the temporary exhibitions. A small flat for the snack terrace that is tiny face to the public and poorly arranged.

Very nice museum, modern, spacious. The temporary exhibitions are very well installed, everything is well studied, we enjoyed. Small advice all the same: provide time to see everything, because the permanent exhibitions + temporary exhibitions are all very informative and spacious. If possible, doing it in several times can be an interesting option!

Very nice museum, after we love or we do not like but must admit that it is imposing
The exhibitions are well, sought after, fun, lots of screens and videos (ideal for children)

Tips:
- go between noon and two there are a lot less people
- to install the appliction and to listen to the audios on the permanent exhibition (one learns much more than by reading)

Given the building we expect a giant museum in terms of exposure, visits etc, however this is not the case at all in 2-3 hours everything is visited

You could specify the opening days of the museum at the entrance to the parking lot, this would avoid us paying horribly expensive parking, 18.75 for 4 hours this Monday 30-04.

Beautiful museum, permanent exhibitions very nice and very well brought, those temporary also including 'venenum'.

However, we do not understand why the entrance hall is not heated (and personally, I pity the receptionists forced to emitouflage polar ice)

It is strange that this is not planned for construction!

We stayed 3 hours ... the museum is top but the good surprise is the parking: 1.25 15 minutes ... a bill at 15 for parking !!!!! SCANDALOUS

Very nice museum. Pedagogical and with a successful staging. Annual cleaning is very interesting. In summer, think of passing to the little outdoor cafe behind the museum: sheltered under the museum and with a view of the confluence!
