Excellent care, personable doctors and staff, and prompt appointments.

The new offices of Dr. Josie McAllister and her professional team are a delight to visit. They are bright, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. My visit there for an annual skin examination was equally pleasant. All the staff members are very friendly and efficient. While everyone is wearing a mask, they are adept at "smiling with their eyes," which enhances the experience. I especially appreciate the detailed care and concern of Dr. McAllister during her examination, along with her good advice for my skin care going forward. After a lifetime in the sun, I know it's critical to get good skin care, and so I am grateful to have such careful and caring professionals handling my screenings. I highly recommend Dermatological Associates of Ithaca!

I really felt like they were listening to my concerns, and that they cared. They didn't make me feel stupid for asking silly questions. They were very thorough and nice. Excellent experience.

Both of my visits were more than satisfactory. The staff was extremely charming and eager to accomodate me in terms of my hours and needs. The procedures were done exactly as described and follow-up instructions were clear and easy to follow. I feel that my attending doctor was extremely professional, knowledgeable and comprehensive to explain [step by step] how the procedure was developing. All of my contacts had recommended this clinic and it is understandable why they are so highly recommended. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, waiting time to be escorted to a room is extremely short, and entire process was a positive experience.

My appointment was at 3:30; I arrived early and was quickly seen. Tom was there in a flash; the appointment went quickly and I was on my way by 3:30. Everyone was courteous and friendly; the location is clean and convenient.

I ve seen many dermatologists throughout the years, and appreciate Dr. McAllister s compassion, competence, and customized treatments for my skin issues, as well as my family s skin issues. She and her team are truly dedicated to helping patients, and our lives are the better for it!

I love Dermatology Associates of Ithaca. I always request Tom Brown. Not only is he is very knowledgeable and thorough but he always makes sure I am as comfortable as possible.

I called thinking it would take a few months to get an appointment, but they were able to schedule me within a week. I went in for a rash on my leg and was seen by Tom, the Physician Assistant. He took a sample and was able to provide me with the results quickly along with a treatment plan. I was really happy with my visit and how quickly they were able to see me.

Mark is a wonderful dermatologist. He answered all my questions and gave me suggestions as to what changes to make in my daily routine to make my skin stay young. This office is welcoming and the staff is very nice.

I visited the Dermatology Associates of Ithaca on Sep. 25. The staff are very nice and friendly. I met Dr. Mark during my visit. Dr. Mark is very professional, knowledgeable and nice. He explained the issue to me very well and provided me with the available options.
Overall this place is very great and I highly recommend visiting them if you have any issue.

I am extremely pleased with Dermatology Associates. As far as I'm concerned, them finding and removing two melanomas could very well have saved my life. Dr. McAllister and her P.A., Tom Brown, have given me excellent care.

Also, yesterday was my first visit to their new office on Craft Road in Ithaca. It's beautiful and clearly a wonderful facility for the extensive practice they now have. Every person I had contact with, from the front desk staff to the nurses to the PAs and Dr. McAllister, were all very professional, very pleasant, and very nice to me. I highly recommend this dermatology practice.

I have been to other dermatologist none compare to Dermotology Associates Ithaca. They are very thorough, checking places no other person has ever checked. Nice friendly folks, very pleased to be a patient there.

The doctor made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail. They got me in right on schedule, unlike some doctor s offices who make you wait. I highly recommend this office.

The overall experience was excellent. My only regret is that I didn't say anything about the paper cover that was given me to cover myself during the exam. I felt that it wasn't big enough to cover me sufficiently. I spent some time trying to figure out how to wrap my upper body in it sufficiently before the PA came into see me. I felt awkward and somewhat uncomfortable. The PA and other staff members were excellent and helped me feel at ease with them despite the flimsy paper covering. I am happy that I switched to their office.

While I did not see Tom in the office. He saw me at a function and noted a serious condition that I had been dealing with for a few days. He gave me the name or the infection and recommended that I call my doctor immediately who I saw the next day. Tom even offered to call the office he works at to get me seen immediately. Fortunately, I was able to see my doctor the next morning and he said that I was lucky to run into a health professional who got me the correct diagnosis and treatment promptly. I thank you and will not hesitate to recommend the practice

My appointment started when it was supposed to and my PA was very thorough and answered all my questions. All in all a pleasant experience.

Dr. McAllister saw my toddler several times and was excellent. She is skilled at working with children and very knowledgeable. She also went out of her way to accommodate my family s schedule. We will definitely return if we have any skin concerns in the future.

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. It's clear that Dr. M cares a lot about her patients. If you have any concerns at all, she'll talk it through with you until you're satisfied. Dr. M and her staff are relentless. If one treatment doesn't work, they'll keep trying until something works.
