* Updated. Since posting this, to their credit, Adam has been more than helpful for our athletes. Respect and Rating adjusted.

As a coach of athletes who have been members here and paying to use this facility since April (its now nearly November), we requested a pro-rata membership for about 10days prior to their departure so to not pay for an entire month and they wouldnt do it. Completely sh1thouse management not to help people out at all.

I falsely believed that the poor customer service from the YMCA was a mainland thing. I was wrong! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Almost every gym on the island is cheaper AND nicer. Not only am I not going back, I'm not signing up my partner.

The facilities and classes are really great. However the customer service is HORRIBLE. The past two times I have visited, the woman at the front counter has been very rude. I was planning on getting a yearly pass, but am now going to planet fitness instead. In a world of multiple choices to take my business, establishments with good CUSTOMER SERVICE is where I choose to spend my money.

Favorite style of gym. Heavy lifters sometimes hog the squat racks and platforms and sit and socialize in a group. Inconsiderate of the other members. Shouldn't be able to monopolize a area for 30-45 min. Salt water pool is awesome. Lap lanes are full in early am and sometimes have to wait. Overall nice place to lift with good selection. Need more yoga classes though. Both times I tried to attend they were so full I could find a spot. Have still yet to take a class.

What a great little jewel of a YMCA with excellent customer service. We visited this YMCA twice over our four days on the island and the staff were very helpful and enjoyable. A unique YMCA in the fact their there locker rooms and outdoor aquatic center are part of the main building and then 20 feet out the side of the main building is a two story fitness center. Great amount of cardiovascular machines and a nice area for stretching and other floor activities on the second story. The large weight room with a good amount of equipment packed into the area was kinda of grungy, but I love those types of YMCA's. Hawaiian Y's have no need for saunas or steam rooms, but they have two very nice racquetball courts that were fairly busy. No gymnasium and no towel service, but you can buy a towel for $2 (yes only $2.00) and they have locks, swim caps, protein drinks, protein bars, etc for sale at phenomenal prices! Great YMCA!
