Fantastic theatre with amazing productions. We love it!
Such a warm and welcoming theatre. Easy to access (located inside the shopping centre) and with great provisions for parents and carers
Absolutely fabulous. Legally Blonde cast were amazing
First time at this theatre a lovely theatre and friendly helpfull staff and the show was great
I only went to the cafe which I always find very good.
A really lovely theatre very impressed and ofcourse Joseph was wonderful. Definitely will go again.
Really comfortable seats, unfortunately couldn't see a thing when we went in so sat on first seats we came to. Could not believe we have to pay to park at the cinema and only noticed on way out, on telephoning car park number unable to get hold of anyone on line . Spoilt the outing
The seats are tiered so you can see well no matter wear you seat
The front row is the cheapest the centre the most expensive
The productions are very good
There is a cafe if you want a drink and a bar in the theatre .
This is a great theatre. Saw a wonderful performance of Christmas Carol on Monday 23rd December
Went to watch local dance school Hannah Alexandra performance. It was amazing. Facilities smart and clean bar and cafe is lovely.
We went to see Scrouge. Really excellent performance. Very good production and venue.
I've been lots of times for comedy gigs. Handy hint - random seat rows have almost no leg-room, while others are quite comfortable. Ask specifically when booking.
Always a great experience and the theatre seats are brilliant wherever you sit :0)
An old fashioned, nicely claustrophobic little theatre that really needs to be kept going for future generations. Don't let the council near it!!!. An interesting and diverse program as well
Just used the cafe for a light midday lunch. It was great and good value.
Had a nice coffee staff helpfull clean and tidy the menu was good plenty of information about forthcoming plays and stars
Brilliant. Watched one man two guvnors. Great ad libbing too. Very funny. Will definitely go again. Would like to make this a regular occurrence. Here's to the next one.
Small but very comfortable , can be intimate or flamboyant , great little theatre
Great gig by the James Taylor Quartet on 14th June. Comfortable seats, nice beer and most importantly, room to boogie !
Excellent christmas carol. Clean and friendly. Very helpful and lots of leg room.
Very nice theatre. Really well furnished and a good performance
Brilliant theatre up to date facilities and reasonable size (intimate whilst offering bigger productions) the prices of refreshments are fairly standard but the staff are always friendly.
Seats are a little snug. Once sat down I was unable to take off my jacket in fear of slapping the lady sat at the side of me!!!
Great performance and a lot of practice put into it. Many different skills such as multiroling. Plenty of places to get snacks and drinks.
Lovely theatre
Seats good and comfortable
Very good service and great theatre. Cafe is decently priced
Wonderful play...lovely atmosphere in the theater. ..well looked after by staff.....only bug bare you can not get hot drinks at the bar upstairs.
Haven't been here for years; but was pleasantly surprised at how tidy and smart the theatre public areas are. The theatre itself feels quite intimate and you feel close to the actors which makes for a great experience.
Beautiful little theatre clean helpful staff. And not to busy was a lovely experience.
Nice theatre, good shows, bar is expensive. Worth a visit.
Sat on front row. Perfect view and stage not too high!
Again seats need more padding and legroom but otherwise a great night. Staff friendly and helpful, venue clean and proformance very enjoyable.
The production of A Christmas Carol was superb. Well done to all concerned.
Brilliant evening of entertainment (watched Rain Man). Friendly, helpful staff. Able to change seat position to accomodate member of our party who had become less mobile. Lift from carpark direct to each floor of theatre.
Nice facilities, good range of plays and other events.
A very comfortable hotel with the view to Promenade and delicious breakfast
excellent theatre. staff very helpful. good layout all facilities easy to find. quick bar service with good choice of drinks.
Far too long a performance. Show stated it would be finished by 10pm but it was 11pm instead. 3hours for a stand up comedy
Hanzel and gretal - well put together musical for kids - funny and excellent musicians.
Ooty is a wonderful place to be, I enjoyed every minute of the visit.
Currently one of my favourite theatres. Aside from the wonderful warm feeling you get in the building, the buzz about the place, the inclusivity and integrity of the team, the theatre produced here is truly excellent. We've seen three shows here in the last 12 months and will come back for more.
Go see. Enjoy.
Lovely small theatre. Different shows and productions. Shame the Theatre Restaurant closed down. Cafe is nice though
This is a really great theatre space - brilliant sightlines.
Lovely show and suport local children in care with the plus one scheme
A Christmas Carol......best play we've seen.
Great place to visit.
Came to see One Man, Two Guv'nors which was brilliant. Way way better than we were anticipating. The theatre itself is ok. It's rather awkwardly levered into a shopping precinct the result of imaginative '70s civic planning. It's obviously on a tight budget. I miss the restaurant and the bar choices have been stripped back to basics. Nothing on draft. Everything's bottled. The theatre do put on great productions though.
I went to see one of the Speakers From The Edge shows. Nice venue, comfortable seats and nice coffee shop. Bar service was a bit slow.
Brilliant and very entertaining. Hansel and Gretel told very musically. Young supporting cast excellent
Really good views and excellent acoustics. And One Man, Two Guv'nors was hilarious and brilliant. Shame it wasn't full.
Very clean, toilets are easily accessible with crutches according to my husband. Coffee and food is good and reasonably priced.
The shows are almost invariably excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and prices make good value - especially if you become a 'friend'.
Easy to park. Friendly staff and a good view from anywhere in the theatre
Every seat has a good view. Lovely setting, helpful staff.
Fab theatre. Love the layout and the seats were pretty comfy too
The sound could be better but a really nice community theater
It's OK and there are few poor seats here but getting between the foyer and your seat can be a real pain, espe5when leaving. Expectations basic, provincial theatre and you won't be disappointed.
I loved it because I got to go back stage and perform on the stage
Watched frankenstein. Was brilliant. Tight seats so glad we were on the end.
