Dental Intelligence is a wonderful addition to our practice. Sandra has been an amazing coach who has really taken the time to help me understand not only how to utilize this program but how to get the most from it. We are now able to pin point the areas of opportunity which will benefit the most and have the greatest impact. If you are not utilizing this I would recommend looking into this for your dental practice.
While Dental Intelligence has a pretty cool looking platform it is difficult to use and the company has NOT provided any of the trainings it promised. We have had this software for 11 months and have yet to have a proper training. Every scheduled training has been either cancelled at the last minute by the rep from Dental Intel or they have NOT shown up to the online meeting (costing us lost patient time). I have complained to the company 5 times and asked for a refund but they have refused. So we are stuck with it. Don't be fooled by the fancy platform. Overall Dental Intel has been a total WASTE OF MONEY.
Dental Intel is easy to setup and use day to day. It quickly and easily paid for itself.

Had a very poor experience as I contemplated using DI's LocalMed service. I initially felt like I just got passed around, but eventually was put in contact with the account manager and VP of accounts. A brief conference with the leads me to believe that my initial impression was an anomaly and that they do have a culture of customer service. When timing is right for me an my business I will reach out again.
Dental Intel has helped our practice grow in several areas. The reports are really detailed and I love that they can be sent directly to me each day. The morning huddle is great, and has made our practice more aware of unscheduled family members, balances, and unscheduled treatments. The team has been great to work with too! A very powerful software solution. Plugs into your PMS and pulled date into nice graphs and easy to access into.
Pros: very slick. Nice graphics. Breaks down the info in multiple ways. Great info dump. Can use to make goals and track progress of practice and providers. Find holes in your production and really any number you could imagine.
Cons: very poor technical support. Costs more that your PMS annual support contract. In our case 10 times more. And they just raised their fees. But you can t actually call tech support. Only availible online chat box. And they are very limited on their abilities to solve your problems.

We were beyond excited to start with Dental Intel within the first 10 minutes of our demo! If your practice is looking to organize and stay on top of your patient follow ups (who isn't?), you have to schedule a demo! We needed an easier way to keep track of unscheduled recall and tx, missed/broken appointment follow ups, past due insurance claims, and A/R to name a few. We have it all organized now and don't have to deal with PAPER REPORTS anymore. Dental Intelligence syncs with our software and makes life so much easier. We can filter the patients we want to see who need a specific procedure by code, date they were last seen, insurance available...the filters are endless. Accountablility is increased, so production is increased AUTOMATICALLY. It really motivates everyone to work as a team and you can make it fun (yes, work can be fun) with incentives. It really is a no brainer.
Even better is the customer service; they are genuinely the best group of people to work with. Between Mark, who answered our million questions during the demo to Spencer who gave us extra training and Tanner & Jeff who answer ALL of my questions within 2 minutes via chat or call, I honestly couldn't find NICER or more communcative people anywhere. Thanks so much - You guys are the best!
Christina was very attentive to our needs from the moment she walked into our practice! She did a thorough job of explaining how each feature of Dental Intel works and even went above and beyond by bringing us little complimentary gifts for the team. She was very expressive and made sure each team member had their questions answered. Thanks to Christina, we were able to understand and appreciate everything Dental Intel has to offer. As for the software itself, Dental Intel has made everything much easier for us, ranging from how to track down unscheduled appointments to set the goals we needed for success. It has only been a little over a week but we are already seeing heaps of productivity within our providers and business staff. The service is immaculate, and we cannot wait to see how this software aids in the growth of our practice.
