This place used to be good. Been going here for many years but this was the last time. I spent $40 and a 2 week wait to have my new $700 Stuart Weitzman OTK boots "cleaned and waterproofed". They now look 10 years old and the suede is flaking off everywhere. I expressed my disappointment, which was met with apathy and ignored. I was presented with the bill and asked to sign it with a gross metal skull pen. Thanks for nothing!

The service my mother and I have received here is honestly the worst I have ever had in my life. My mother had an employee raise their voice at her for pointing out a flaw they made on her shoe repair and the older lady Dorothy at the front was rude and ignored us when we asked her for help. I absolutely hate this place.

I have a leather purse with a completely worn out lining. So much so that I couldn t use any of the pockets b/c they all had holes worn through the bottom. I called Demi s and they said they could fix it and recommended I buy a patterned fabric for the lining unless I was ok with black/brown or gray. I dropped off my purse and fabric and in less than a week my bag was done. It is fabulous! They did a remarkable job and I love the new fabric more than the original. I will never go anywhere else. They are just the best!!

Absolutely amazing! We had several shoes/boots that were subject to water damage, after a burst water pipe at our home. A lot of our friends recommended Deno's and we couldn't have been happier!
Our boots were like new again. I didn't think we could save them. If fact I'm taking my new boots to be stretched next week. :) Would highly recommend!!!

I moved to NYC a few years ago, went through all the trials and tribulations, and never found a decent shoe and handbag repair shop such as Deno s. Recently had some Frye boots resoled and replaced the heels also. After debating between using Resole America (the recommendation of Frye), some other local, and Deno's, everyone else had mixed reviews besides Deno's. The only "complaints" about Deno's was they were more expensive. The other companies had mixed reviews, like they ruined my shoes type complaints. I didn't want to take that chance. I was quoted at a few shops between $75-$120; Deno's was $120. You can decide if that's worth it to you. For me, it was worth paying a little more than everyone else to make sure my shoes were done right; and they were. They look almost as good as the day they were bought (over 5 years ago and nearly everyday wearing). Pics of before and after attached. Turn around time was very good, dropped them off and was told 7-10 days, and they were done in 7. All in all I am very happy and I would recommend Deno's and will use them again.

My mother gave me her Chanel purse. I love this purse but over the years the black had become a shade of grey and the interior was completely tattered. The chain had even broken. I decided to go to Deno's of HP. The only place I take my prized possessions! I got the purse back within a week and it looked brand new!!! I know I will be able to pass this purse on to my children one day!

Denos is the best! They repaired a pair of Louboutins and made them look new again! Quick service and great customer service!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I went in there to see if they could fix some broken ear muffs of mine. First of all, everyone who was in line in front of me walked out with a smile. The ladies at the front were kind, friendly and welcoming. Clearly they have a ton of happy, returning customers.
After I handed over my ear muffs to see if they could be fix, the lady took them in the back and within minutes brought them back out REPAIRED!!

Came in last minute for a shoe shine for my wedding. Wasn t looking for any special service or anything and when they found out it was my wedding that I was going to, they wouldn t let me pay. Will happily send all my shoes to Deno s

The work is amazing, and your shoes will look new, no matter what shape they were in. Deno's team will extend the life of any pair and rescue your favorites. BUT they work on an old-school European pace -- expect any repair to take a week or more, and add a couple days to whatever they tell you.

Pros -
They do amazing work. I usually get soles put in at the bottom of my heels and get suede shoes cleaned
Cons -
They are VERY expensive
The wait times can be very long
The ticket system is antiquated. If you lose the ticket, or don't receive the text when your shoes are ready, they will not be able to look up your shoes. It works be nice to have an account system so we don't have to worry about losing a little piece of paper

The hands-down best for those special handbags and shoes, or for that matter any leather good. Their attention to detail and meticulous care is given to every item you present. I have been a client for 20 years. I wouldn t trust them with anything that is of value to me, also the best customer service!

I had two wallets repaired and I received them very well, but days later I noticed that one of my wallets was not like I sent it inside and I called to tell they why my wallet was like that, they did not know why a few days later they called to tell me that Wrong and that they sent me someone else's wallet, as a good person I sent it back paying again an unnecessary shipping plus insurance so that the wallet would not be lost, since it was a Loius Vutton, I went on vacation a few days after I sent it trusting that they were going to do the same, now that I return I see that my wallet is not there, since they paid a cheap shipping and now my wallet was stolen because they did not put insurance and they did not put someone I had to sign when receiving my package I do not recommend this company

Expensive- but they do a wonderful job. I've been taking shoes and purses here for years and never been disappointed. They have so many customers so turnaround is not quick.

I knew there was a reason my parents always refused to go anywhere else. Like true professionals, the staff here set my expectations low and delivered a beautiful repair job on one of my favorite belts I have in my possession. Other people that have an odd appreciation for leather goods will get what I mean. From more than 2 inches away this $21 (at least 1/30th of the original price) repair completely covered a piece-ruining tear to the point that it might as well be brand new (for my purposes). Thank you Deno s.

I just picked up my shoe. The issue was minor lifting on the very back of the heel which I did not want to get worse. I can only imagine that their solution was to remove the entire sole and reattach. The result was jagged, cut up leather and visible glue coming from both sides of the soles. It looks shoddy and horrible. Terrible work. I've uploaded a picture of it on Instagram and I will find any other forum I can to show this "work" I paid for. They should have contacted me an apologized for destroying my shoe. I definitely should not have paid for it.

They do amazing work! I have had many things done at Dinos and I have always been happy with their work.

I do not recommend them for any dye job. I had a new jimmy choo bangle bag treated so that it would resist stains. It didn't help and when I brought it in for cleaning, they said it wouldn't clean well so they recommended dying it. They dyed it and the color was awful (pinky beige). I paid for that dye job and asked them to dye it brown. When I picked it up it was very splotchy and they said it couldn't be avoided. I had to pay again and still was not satisfied. I only used this purse a few times and it was now relegated to storage as I wouldn't use it as it was. I finally found a source, Tulsa Leather, who was able to dye it a solid brown. When I went back to Deno's to voice my dissatisfaction, they were arrogant and rude. I've been a customer of theirs for 10 years and will never be back!

Sent in a Louis Vuitton purse for repairs, and it was the last time I have seen it. Called to inquire about and it turns out it was mishandled with their shipping department . Now, I m at a loss of $1000 and no one willing to take responsibility. If you use their services, I implore you not to trust their delivery department- do business only in person. Get signatures and pictures before and after- they do not take responsibility for anything.

I dropped off two of my most cherished shoes at Deno s of Highland park after searching for a long time for place to get my shoes repaired! One was a pair of pink coach flats and the other suede flats from Italy. I can t easily replace either so naturally I was a bit nervous. I honestly did not want to leave them in the wrong hands to be messed up so I was picky. After getting a few word of mouth recommendations to go to Deno s I decided to go. I can say I m satisfied with their workmanship, professionalism, and speed of service! They definitely did a spectacular job on the shoes. And the associates were honest and helpful with recommendations on what would be best! I would also recommend speaking specifically to Dorothy! She was so friendly and helpful the entire time and made me feel extremely welcomed. Dorothy worked well with her coworkers from what I saw and attended to a busy store full customers with grace. Because of her I even brought more items because of her service! 13/10 would recommend!!

Deno s does great work always on my shoes. Whether it s the soles, heels or putting the squishy stuff in the bottom to make them more comfy! I brought these in to have the foot petals put underneath to make them more comfortable on my wedding day. Not only did Dorothy make it happen right then and there, she didn t charge me anything and just said

We found Deno's through a shoe retailer in Austin whom they recommended as the only ones they would refer. My wife and I were impressed with how busy this little shop in Highland Park was. The Ladies working the front were very courteous and polite and helped us out with our shoe repair. The service requested was inexpensive and the turnaround was very quick; no longer than a few working days at the most. There are three 15 minute parking spots that really work out with a quick drop off or pick up is required since parking around this store is very limited.

Deno's is simply the BEST for shoe repair. This little shop, nestled inside the always-crowded Highland Park Village, has a steady stream of repeat customers!

Hint: You can score a Starbucks right around the corner while you're here. No, Deno's doesn't do "wait for it" type repairs. :)

I have used Deno's since I move to the city, it is by far the best shoe, belt and purse repair shop I have used in any state that I have lived in. If you need something repaired, try them and you won't be disappointed.

I brought some oatmeal suede chelsea boots in that discolored from some suede cleaner I bought. I though my shoes were ruined and couldn't be fixed. I drove out from Fort Worth after hearing all the amazing things about Deno's. Everyone said things like "if Deno's can't fix them then no one can".
I had it set in my mind that my shoes were ruined and can't be fixed so i didn't have anything to lose by asking them. I walked in and explained what happened and right away the gentleman asked what cleaner I used, what brand, what ingredients are in it. He told me come back in a few days and he'll try everything he can to restore them.
I picked them up today (12-8-16) excepting them to have gone from a soft oatmeal color to a dark ugly brown because of the hard stained from the cleaner. I opened the bag and wow. I was speechless. They somehow restored the original color AND the suede was still super soft. I will gladly drive from Fort Worth to Deno's for any more cleanings or repairs.

I needed my shoes repaired today, and Dorothy rushed me in and completed my repair right away. She even went the extra mile and had them re-stained and polished. This is my new go to for shoe repair. This place is tops!! The team is professional, kind, welcoming and all have the "do whatever it takes" attitude! Thanks for making this so easy!!

We drove in from fort worth (about an hour drive) and called ahead to let them know that we would be there less than 5 minutes from closing. We arrived at 4:02 pm on a Saturday and they would not open the door for us to drop off some shoes. They clearly dont want to make money or to help their customers. Highly disappointed with this place.

Deno's has done it again! I brought in a pair of new shoes which I knew were ruined after wasting BLEACH on them only a week after buying but amazingly Deno's restored them to a better than ever finish! One would never know there were SEVERAL bleach spots on these shoes but you CANNOT see them now! I am simply amazed and astounded at the results! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!!!

I dropped off my Gucci wallet to get repairs done and it has now been over 2 months since they even started to repair it. I was told it would take no longer then 2 weeks. I have now picked it up and am taking it somewhere else.

They are always quick professional and helpful. I no longer live in dallas but they offer shipping options if I wasn't still here. Luckily they got them done quickly and I was able to pick them up before I left today.
