A small, intimate, family-friendly stage that puts on impressive, creative productions. This time the hip hop show, "Norr" was presented. The stage is low, so front row seating may be preferable. Great sound system, lighting, grabs the audience and enthralls them into the story. Drinks are allowed into the theater. "Norr" is very highly recommended, should you have the opportunity to to watch it.

Beautiful building, but too strict on what you can bring into the theatre. Lidded coffee cups are not allowed. How am I supposed to get through a three hours long play about poverty and misery without coffee? How?!

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful walls, ceilings and decorations that create a solemn feeling. Good service, space to get into the building with a wheelchair and had it in the wardrobe as I wanted.

The main state theatre in Bergen. A rather beautiful Art Nouveau building in its own right (there are several lovely Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings in Bergen). I haven t seen a production at the theatre so can't speak to the quality of the productions but the interior and exterior are well worth checking out.

Venerable, and beautiful building.
Skilled staff. Hidden pub in the basement that can also be used if you do not want to go to the theater.

The creation of Vigdis Hjorth's novel "Heritage and Environment" was moving and impressive. With simple but effective instruments, the actors managed to convey the protagonist Bergljot's situation and life struggle convincingly.

Kjersti Elvik shouted in the role of Bergljot to the degrees that when she occasionally apparently fell a little out of script, I perceived this as her natural role interpretation.

I would also like to draw up the director of the theater, Agnete Haaland, in the role of sister sister Astrid. For a living and strong performance! And so delicious to hear Agnete Haaland speak perfect mountain-completely without knocking or accent!

Unique historic building, one of very few theaters built in Art nouveau style remaining in such well preserved state. Various performances, both old classics, musicals and children's stories
