Delta Whistler Resort Review

While nothing was out and out wrong with our stay at the Delta, the value here was below average. Parking not included, little to no amenities, several things listed on the room not actually on (fireplace disabled in summer but listed on website still). The indoor/outdoor pool is an outright lie - the indoor section is about 5 square feet. I'd look somewhere else unless you NEED to be right in the middle of Whistler.

Spent an idylic week here resting up after driving round Canada, much cheaper to visit in summer time and might just spy the black bears playing outside under the ski chairs

Indeed it was one of the best hotel experiences in north America.
Hotel is perfectly clean and all in order. Location and amenities were wonderful.
But the most exited part was how all the staff were welcoming, helpful and cheerful, especially Mike who was as a family member by his attitude, and like a brother to my wife when she was pregnant and not in good situation. Tnx all, tnx mike.

Very nice staff! Very strategic location in the village of Whistler! Parking $ 30 per night but $ 10 per day 5-6 minutes walk. Rooms a little dated but very good equipment. The bed is amazing, like all Delta / Marriott!

Centrally located in the village. Walking distance to all amenities restaurants and attractions. Good clean rooms and good service. Free bottled water in the rooms and they upgraded us to a king bed with mountain view. Parking is pricey approx $35 per day. However you can park in Lots #4 & #5 quite cheaply. After Sept 15th it's free parking till end of October

Kim at guest services was amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, even making a birthday card for my sons 6th bday.

Room was a very small but had a kitchenette which came in handy. Free ski storage.

Noisey place due to other guests. Other than that awesome place

Great size room with full kitchen. Perfect for having the kids with us. Bike storage available. Location right in the middle of the village.

We are right by the swimming pool and it is sooooo loud

The staff was fantastic. We were traveling with our dog and they treated him as a regular guest. Amenities were great and the hotel is right by great food. I would not recommend the pub attached to the hotel as the staff acted as though we were inconveniencing them when we walk into an empty restaurant. But I definitely would stay here again.

Helpful staff at checkin. No cleaning happened. Elevators not all working so lots of wait during peak times. We were told we couldn t access the pool due to people bypassing the system and pre booking, not the day of as we were told. Nice employee called when a family didn t show. Unit was worn - carpet had holes, wall had holes, etc... Full kitchen to cook in. The RCMP already arrested one gentleman outside our window and the noise level is atrocious so our children are having a hard time sleeping. If you are looking for a relaxing, good quality place, book at the Westin, Pan Pacific, etc... Summit Lodge was better last year. Pity as we paid way more for the privilege to listen to noisy drunken people at Delta.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay. Daniel booked us in and made sure our wheelchair access suite and parking was perfect for our needs. Daniel made sure throughout our stay that we were happy. We loved the quiet
and clean suite. We did not use the Hot Tubs and Pool on this trip but enjoyed them in previous stays. The location is perfect for shopping and reasonable for skiing. I stay in hotels throughout our nation, on a regular bases. The staff made our family stay perfect and we look forward to returning.

It's okay... It's extremely expensive for the quality of the room. We also asked the downstairs if they have some extra shampoo and they said they would come by and drop some off and they never came by

It was way to expensive but so was the whole village. Tough to find anything affordable there.

Had a great time at the hotel for a conference. Staff were friendly and organized. Pool, gym and amenities were all great!

Quick and efficient booking in. Clean, spacious, well equipped rom. Comfortable bed. Close to all local facilities. In hotel facilities good.

Terrible experience at this hotel with management and reservation.
The front desk lady ( Laura) and hotel manager gave a away our 2 bedroom unit although we had printed confirmation. Laura told us , instead of original 2 bedroom suite , she is gonna give us a one bedroom suite and a tiny room at 2 different locations.
They confirmed the new price and gave us confirmation in print. The next day, at check out all of the sudden they wanted us to pay double the confirmed price.
I have never seen such a system at any of the hotels in Whistler or anywhere else.
There are alot of other hotels in Whistler with a proper and professional management.
This is not a Marriot Hotel for sure. Avoid this hotel

Well appointed single suite rooms with kitchenette (fridge / microwave). Restaurants on site and close to Whistler village. Clean rooms but slow and noisy elevators.

I had 3 requests leading up to my 1 night stay. 1) possible early check in time 2) possible late check out time 3) arrange for flowers to be purchased for me and in the room upon arrival. They came through without issue on every single one. The room was fabulous and maintenance arrived in a timely manner to turn on the fireplace in the suite. Start of the season I guess! I would DEFINITELY go out of my way to book again if the moment arises for a quick trip to Whistler. All staff that we dealt with were amazing. The only gripe? Spelled my name wrong!!!

Amazing cozy room. The family room has a common feature. When two rooms have the same door open, they also have a door! There are bathroom toilets in each other's rooms, which is very convenient. The queen bed has a living room and kitchen, and the bedroom can be closed separately. It is suitable for a partner who has a different sleeping time :) The whole environment is very comfortable as the home.
The location of the hotel is also in the middle of the town, and you can go out at night in the evening. The store has eight o'clock and nine o'clock. The supermarket is closed at eleven o'clock. It is recommended to buy some breakfast and come back to cook, because this restaurant is not for breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times have been excellent. Super friendly/helpful staff members, clean rooms and great location. The two bedroom suite has more than enough room for 6 people and you can t beat the price. This place will always be my go to whenever I m visiting Whistler! Thank you for the accommodation.

I love this place! Normally I stay at airbnb but I think I will choose this hotel in the future. Mike, at the front desk, was amazing and helpful. He helped us find what we needed during our stay. Joanne, also front desk, interacted with our kids and made the stay more enjoyable as she chatted with out little ones while we figured out our next steps. Great all around.

The hotel is in a good location close to the village, suite was spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. However, do not expect to get any rest as a nightclub is in the same building which plays loud music from 10 to 3am. Response from Delta staff is to wear earplugs!!

The staff were amazingly accommodating and the services and luxurys provided are top notch

The room was poorly protected by noises from outside. Also the dust, geez....do they ever clean the room? It was only a one night stay so we did not complain but will never visit this place again. What COVID-19 disinfection? They can t even clean the room properly.

We spent 1 night at the Delta for my husband s birthday trip in November, 2019. Upon arrival, Stuart was the most kind, personable, funny valet! He gave us great recommendations for things to do/where to eat and made us feel welcomed - like family - every time we entered/exited the hotel. Ally at the front desk ensured we were well look-after - sending a bottle of wine to our room to celebrate.

Staff are very nice, rooms clean, and quiet. Location is great.

It is in the village and it is very convenient to use other facilities and shopping.
It is clean and kind.
The swimming pool is also connected indoors so it is very good for children when traveling with the weather.

our stay was excellent! the hotel staff were amazing and professional and seemed like they genuinely cared about our needs. i wanted to make coffee in the room in the evening but when i unhooked the lid on the pot, i found leftover coffee grinds and water sloshing around so i used the marriott bonvoy app to message the front desk for a new coffee machine. they responded within a minute and about 10 mins later, the night repairman switched it out for us. they also accommodated a late checkout! the next morning, the head housekeeper called the room to apologize for the oversight. definitely not needed but it was really nice of her!

Great hotel in the heart of the village. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and welcoming.

This time the general area in the hotel was not clean. The reception staff was not helpful. Concierge was great! The hotel need a restaurant for breakfast & dinner

I like a hotel service except if I call, they come slow. I like rooms. it was big. And i loved pools too!

Room wasn't ready at the guaranteed check in time of 4pm. Very inconvenient.

This will be the only hotel in Whistler we will be returning to. Had an issue with noisy room but the hotel crew changed our room fast. Good service. Clean and well maintained rooms.

Stayed 1 night in the 2 bedroom suite. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed. Staff was very helpful checking in and making sure our needs were met.

The hotel is beautiful and very welcoming. The food is great and staff are very friendly. But be prepared, prices are not friendly on the pocket book but it's Whistler so no unexpected.

Really good suite hotel. Great staff. 35$ for valet parking but worth it. It's in the Whistler village, so close to all activities with it comes late night noise from the pubs. Still loved the place. If you are a bookworm, there is a library right outside. If you're a tipsy type, options are there on the other side. If you are an adventure type then there are options everywhere!

Great service. Hotel is feeling it's age. I had a great sleep. Excellent attitude from every staff member I interacted with. I'd recommend it.

We stopped by Delta while out skiing in Whislter and sightseeing in the village. We didn't stay there, but stopped in to look around. Very nice place, great location. Would definitely look there for our next vacation.
