Check-in was speedy and efficient. The parking lot is awkward to get to, but ultimately close to the elevator. The room was clean, microwave, fridge and some dishes, ok for re-heating dinner leftovers. I like that the TV had an HDMI in so I could watch stuff off the computer. The location is good midway in the village.

I have enjoyed the hotel. The pool was awesome and the beds were very comfortable. The tv had a docking station which was pretty cool. The view from my room was amazing too! You could see some amazing mountains from the balcony.

We were upgraded to a large suite. The room was obviously very large, the kitchen well equipped, the bathroom very good. The perfect bedding. The nice terrace.

On the other hand, the parking at $ 30 per day is a real scandal.

Location is great. Quiet since it's not right inside the stroller but it's still only steps away. Our mountain view was mediocre, trees in the way and since it's the start of fall no snow on the mountains. I was pretty happy overall with the cleanliness of the room, however our bed sheet had a hole in it, and looked too small for the bed (the mattress was visible on all sides). Our room had a kitchen we didn't end up using but it was stocked full of anything you would need to make a meal (dishwasher included!). There was also a washer/dryer in suite, however the dryer only ran once and wouldn't start again immediately when something wasn't dry so we didn't bother with it after that. I would return again overall.

Beware. I booked directly with this hotel months in advance. The confirmation did not describe a cancellation policy so I discussed it with the staff on the phone. I was told that a 15-day warning was required to avoid any fees and terms of cancellation. I dutifully canceled 25 days in advance. When I requested the cancellation I was NOT told that the entire stay would be forfeited. And this information was not included in the email that followed the cancellation. The credit to my credit card never came and so I called. They informed me that the cancellation policy was actually 30 days in advance. In order to receive the credit, I would need to prove the 15-day cancellation policy. Apparently, they do not have to prove that they sent me evidence that there was a 30-day cancellation policy. This is all convenient on the part of a large quite profitable corporation and further proof that the customer does not come first. I now do all my stays at Airbnb where the cancellation policies are upfront and honest. I have no problem with a strict cancellation policy as long as the person renting the room keeps me in the loop.

Update: The hotel listened to my concerns and credited me for the stay. I raised my review to 3 stars from 1 star. I still feel that all cancellation policies especially ones that retain all your money should be prominent.

The staff is not accommodating guest needs. I have reserved Delta by Mariott hotel for one night when travelling to Whistler. I have chose this hotel due to its outdoor pool and hot tubs. The pools have limited capacity 20 people maximum every hour. When visiting the pool area multiple times I have noticed that the it is not even 50% full. I have asked Carolyn at the front desk few times to let me in earlier due to my early wake up in the morning for a hike. She did promise to call me and let me know, however, she never did even after I checked the capacity off the pool again and noticed that it s almost empty. I waited for the whole evening for the pool but the staff did not seem to care.

My family and a couple of friends stayed at the Delta for one night after spening the previous night camping in the rain. Our room was not ready when we arrived so Brian (assistant manager?) upgraded us to a beautiful newly upgraded suite. He then called us after settling in to make sure the suite was working for us. Everything from the room, service, pool, hot tub, helping us store our bikes, staff calling us by name and employees was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend staying here and will be back in the future for a longer visit. Thank you so much....

This hotel was undoubtedly an excellent option. It is close to gondolas, good restaurants and everything you need. The only thing that makes you uncomfortable is if you stay in a room with a view of the villa that was my case ... in front there is a restaurant bar where the music stays until dawn. And the machines start to pass at 6:00 am to remove snow and ice. The noise is terrible.

The room was ridiculously small in comparison to other similarly priced hotels in Whistler. All the electronics and amenities are old and outdated. They charged wrong amount of $90 per parking (was supposed to be $30~) and never got it back until I had to argue over the phone. The worst place you can stay in Whistler. Find other hotels.

Disappointed with the last stay here. Our bedroom had a stain on the ceiling and dirty socks were found near the bed. Card locks repeatedly demagnitized so we had to head to the front desk to deal with it.
On the morning we checked out the matainence man showed up while we were dressing /packing to leave . We specifically said not to as we were checking out soon.
He went to enter my friends room (while they were showering) even after I told him NO.
I was tempted to rate it less..But I gave the 3 star rating as the staff were all super friendly.

Great location near the village square with really helpful and accommodating staff. The only complaint is the lack of information of Starbucks being served in the lobby, which resulted in me brewing substandard coffee in my room.

I was surprised that the room/suite was so big, the bed was really comfortable and there are 2 tv's in the suite. Washer/dryer, full kitchen, pullout couch in the living room too. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

Wonderful hotel in the village. All our ski gear and luggage was brought up to our room. They have free ski storage downstairs. Free hot cocoa and cider in the afternoons. Only a 10 minute walk through whistler village to reach the 2 main mountain gondolas!

Stayed at Whistler Village Suites for only one nig...

Stayed at Whistler Village Suites for only one night as I left booking late and it was very busy during Crankworx in August!!
We arrived quite late in the evening, about 8.30pm, and check in was very quick and easy. The car park is under the hotel and gated, so very safe, but at $30 per night it was very much on the pricey side compared to another hotel I stayed at.
The suite had a queensize bed, which was comfortable, and a sofa bed which was quite hard and springy for my daughter. Just passable for one night, but would be poor for the price for a longer stay. The suite quite was large and clean, and overlooked the shopping precinct. The bathroom was spotless and had a shower and bath. Room was not very quiet as it was right next to a nightclub and was extremely noisy till after 2am, so I had a poor night's sleep.
The bell hop was very helpful when I left my car lights on and drained the battery, lending me a battery pack to jump start the car... a very nice touch, but I also think this happens fairly often as the car park is very well lit!!
As we arrived late I requested a late check out, but the concierge would not allow me to check out late unless it was ok next day. So we had to pack all our stuff early and put it in our car even though we didn't leave Whistler till mid afternoon. Another hotel charged us a reasonable $20 for 3 extra hours, and something similar would have been much appreciated here.
I would consider staying here on my next trip to Whistler, but would definitely expect a quieter room next time.

The room itself was great! Dog friendly which is awesome but they didn't have anything extra for them like other hotels such as treats or dog beds. The staff were pretty friendly which was nice! However, would not recommend staying at this hotel on a busy weekend if you are trying to get some sleep. Maybe ask for a room not facing the village itself. The music from the club and the patrons were so loud it was impossible to get any rest.

Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Avoid this hotel at all cost.
Bad management and it is too pricy for what they offer.
The hotel easily denied my reservation althought my card was charged and I had a confirmation email .
Instead of my original top floor which was an , upgraded one bedroom suite , they offered me a tiny room on the lower floor .
Because of this downgrade , Laura ( the front desk lady) offered a lower price and gave me the confirmation in print .
The next day at check out, they forced me the original price and denied whatever conversation we had .
I am speachless of the management attitude and lies.
The room was so average with nothing but towels .
There wasn't even shower cap, soap and regular hotel stuff.
Terrible experience and delta hotels ruined my weekend getaway at whistler.

Location is great. Rooms are very modern and staff very friendly. But ... Door insulations needs work: we could hear the doors smashing from 4 rooms down the hallway. When the A/C starts sleep stops. We paid $130/night in Oct, but they charge $1000/night during ski session which is outrageous and not justified.

Great location in Whistler Village. Very friendly staff. Had a 4 person suit t which was clean and modern. 3 hotubs and pool. Only complaint was the AC was lound in our room. Save $5 by parking yourself instead of Valet. (Still $30)

Last time I came to Whistler, I was hunting for cheap room. I soon found out, the restaurants in that area costing so much. So I end up spending so much money on eating, ice cream and tips. This time I found Delta Suites with kitchen and even laundry. By paying extra $50 per night, and do my cooking in style, I end up saving around $200 per day for my group of three. Three days and two night, my savings around $500.

This is a 4 stars hotel but my experience is 5 stars. I arrived 2 hours before the 4 PM check in time but they allow me to check in early because my room was ready. As we were going up the elevator, the panel for the buttons seems to be lose. So my spine started to chill. "I hope this is a nice hotel." We enter our room and we were all very impressed with what we got in the room from full set of kitchen, smart TV panel, and all the attention into detail.

My wife was happy with a full set kitchen that she can operate and I was thrill about the smart panel with TV that I can connect my laptop, music player and their high speed Internet. My son could see his favorite YouTube channels on TV screen. It's not a huge room but everything is there for you to feel like you are at your own home.

Their pool is very nice with three hot tubs, sauna and connecting to outside. The lightbulb in men's shower doesn't seems to work or I couldn't find the switch. Other than that, we all really enjoyed the pool every evening to recover. Using the hot tubs outdoor is extremely pleasant and I'm not sure why.

Finally, this hotel is located right in the heart of Whistler. It's close to the #4 #5 free parking. It's also close to IGA for grocery. So everything is just your downstairs that you can easily walk to including the library! You'd be surprise. The library at Whistler actually is very busy.

It's not a luxury type of hotel but you can feel your experience is 5 stars here because of their attention to small detail. And of course, there are always small things to improve like the elevator panel and lightbulbs. I totally would recommend friends and family to book at this hotel for their future Whistler trip.

Good:

Good:
Staff was very friendly, the location is excellent and the rooms comfortable.

Bad:
Parking is 30$ per day extra.
The breakfast is a disgrace. Either wait for a long time for it to be made in the restaurant next door or order to your room and get dry bagles.

Well laid out rooms. Clean and comfortable. After travelling in other areas I appreciate coming to a hotel like this that does not use air freshers in the lobby or rooms. As someone with allergies I really appreciate this.

Great location right near the centre of Whistler making it easy to get everywhere. The lobby is nicely designed and modern with a lot of facilities. The rooms are not as nice as the lobby but they have lots of nice extra details and features. It is quite clean and the staff are friendly.
