Amazing location, and atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff
Beautiful room for a staff Christmas party. Delicious food. Polite and efficient staff.
Technical issues and insufficient problem mitigation led to an overall less than adequate experience for a hotel of this calibre. The staff were friendly, but did not make their best efforts - or did not pay enough attention to detail - to fulfill the requests placed in my reservation. It's a shame because if the situation were handled well this would have been an excellent chance to get 5 stars.
Room service was excellent, checkout was smooth, quick, and uneventful.
Staff was great. Rooms looked amazing. I love the veiw of the river.
Beautiful place to stay. The staff here are wonderful, they'll make you feel at home.
The hotel was nice, for what we paid it was good, the room was nice and clean, the king sized bed was amazing and the staff there were extremely friendly the only thing that could be different is that the parking could of been provided without an extra fee, there are other hotels around that you don t have to pay extra for parking. Other than that it was a good stay.
Beautiful architecture and nice rooms but nothing worked and no one cared. Wifi wouldn't connect. Hot tub didn't work. Sauna didn't either. The front desk pretended to care but in the end nothing was fixed even after a few days. For this price and "caliber of a hotel it's just not acceptable.
Was there to meet someone for an interview. Had drinks at the bar and it was a great experience.
Tons of Pokestops around the Bess. I live going for walks down there
Mini fridge didnt work, had to call 3 times for maintenance (took 6 hours for them to come and they did nothing). Breakfast was over priced. Receptionists were not helpful at all when we tried to sign up with our CAA discount. Our wedding rate ended up being higher than the standard rate and they were un-able or un-willing to switch our rates or accomodate any of our requests. For the price you pay the service is terrible. Don t stay at this hotel
Classy and elegant. One of the best places in Saskatoon to have a wedding.
Great hotel. Amazing front desk staff. Great views of the river. I love the gym, pool and riverside running paths. I usually avoid old hotels like this as I prefer new modern, but this is always my go to in Saskatoon.
Clean well appointed restaurant with attractive architecture and decor. Views over the Saskatchewan River are very attractive. Server was prompt, helpful, and frequent, though the food took longer than expected for a mostly empty restaurant at 7:30am on a Saturday. Omelette was mostly well done, though the eggs a bit overcooked. Juice and fruit were fresh.
It would have got 5 stars but the rooms were very hot. But lovely hotel.
Beautiful rooms, awesome pool and hot tub area, can't wait to go back again!
We live in Saskatoon but had always wanted to stay a night here because it is so iconic. We had a great time, the building is old, but it has been well renovated over the years, our room and bathroom was very nice. We also went to the pool and tried out the steam room and sauna. We had a very enjoyable time here.
Planned to stay here to see how it was. Couldn't get parking with our pick-up so we ended up at the Town Park hotel. They need well advertised, accessible parking.
I was just using their Wi-Fi, I'm not sure what to say
The rooms were very clean and nice. Hotel was quiet and had all the amenities one would want.
I was only there for a concert for Jazz fest. Great venue, friendly staff and proper event layout.
We stayed here for our wedding night and the staff made our experience even better! They were friendly and upgraded us. It s a beautiful location with a great restaurant for a breakfast overlooking the gardens.
Beautiful room and very courteous staff. Breakfast was amazing, didn't get to try the pool but it looked excellent.
Nice building in nice location near the river. Hotel personnel was very helpful. It s a short walk to Midtown Plaza, the closest shopping mall.
Breakfast and snacks in the lounge were very good. You see that the hotel is a little dated in certain spots. We liked the saltwater pool. Only point of criticism goes to the cleaning staff who did not remove the predecessor s pizza leftovers from the fridge.
This location is close to everything. Right by the water and pretty much the heart of downtown. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a mall just minutes away. The facilities are clean and spacious.
Great place to walk through and they even have free cell phone charging boxes from Sasktel
Perfect location for the Jazz Festival and excellent service from the terrific staff! Thanks!!
This place was really outdated as we stayed in the "Suite" and the hotel staff made me wait in the lobby for an hour at 3am after the bar. I left my key in my room and they said they didn't recognize me. Very frustrating. Spent the next couple days at the Hilton for $120 per night cheaper and it was twice the room.
Friendly staff. The taxi stall was empty and they called for another taxi, but only after I asked.
Very beautiful room with seen on the river and very good price!
Impossible, it seems, to book directly with the hotel. Instead I was rerouted several times to call centers. The person on the phone didn't know the location, the the rooms, and wasn't really able to help me.
It s great hotel with big name and with lots of expectations. Please don t go with comparative experience with other delta heritage locations.
Engineering Marvel from 1930
Beautiful hotel! Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. Hotel staff was very friendly. Great location in Saskatoon, short trip to/from the airport and shopping/dining. Didn't get it into the garden, or by the river, but from pictures I'd love to come back in the spring or summer to see it.
The staff there are known to be really friendly, a long time ago a staff member fell from the 7th floor to the main lobby and died. Apparently his spirit, dress in a gray suit and fedora, greeting guests silently with a warm smile.
if you're looking for some history and a rather well-appointed and quaint Hotel it should be the one that I would go to in Saskatoon. The location offers some views of the city as well as the river and within walkable distance to essentially anything that downtown Saskatoon offers
Very well located. Close to the mall, city center, restaurants, bars... . I really like the architecture of the building. Many events are going on this summer around this hotel
The hotel room is very clean. The service is very good as well. The rooms can get noisy though. Especially with the hallway noise. You can hear doors closing and people talking when they walk by. In the rooms they have chromecast devices so you can cast from your phone directly to the TV. A very nice bonus. Free bottled water, great high quality toiletries in the bathroom. Overall a very beautiful hotel as well.
A classic Saskatoon icon! Love this hotel and location! The rooms are recently renovated and beautiful. Some items are still dated but it adds to the charm I think.
The beds and pillows were not the best.
Very clean. Hallway was a little noisy and carries noise a lot. We were at the end on one wing and could hear the elevator clearly in our room
The hotel itself is beautiful, centrally located in downtown Saskatoon. Older building, but beautifully rennovated. The technology connectivity options in the room will satisfy everyone. The climate room control was accurate, and fast. The staff seemed honestly disappointed when there wasn't anything else they could do for us. Only complaints are the WiFi was a bit slow, and the pillows were a bit thick. With the many options available, we did not try the hotel dining options, but the menu looked amazing.
Had a good experience at a concert in the delta bowl
Ate at the Samarai. Food was absolutely delicious, but service was the slowest I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing
Nice decor, quality food, outstanding service by restaurant staff.
Their location here in Saskatoon is truly not only a work of art to behold but an amazing experience altogether. The staff treated me beyond properly, the view was more beautiful than any other, and the feeling I got while there was entirely magnificent.
The room was quite small, but that can be expected with an old hotel. The hotel is located close to shopping and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Great place to stroll along the river park. Would highly recommend.
The Bes is always a great location for company events in downtown. The facilities have a great classic style and the food and service is good.
Nice rooms, helpful staff, good location, pleasant experience.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Bessborough for the first time and it was an awesome experience. The staff were friendly and it was a comfortable stay. Loved the architecture of the building. If you're willing to spend a little more, then definitely consider the Delta Bessborough.
The Samurai has some of the best sushi in Saskatoon. We have often enjoyed the meal as well, thought the chefs are not as entertaining as at some other tempanyaki restaurants.
The kids and I spent alot of time in the pool. It was smelly all over the hotel especially in the pool and change rooms. But an older building will have that!! We love the downtown location
I didn't really do anything... just picked up a charger
Had a good stay. Took 30 minutes to check in but the lady upgraded us for that wait. Found they were missing some things that a less expensive hotels offer.
One of the best hotels in saskatoon, large meeting rooms, well maintained, and best river view. Got a wonderful pic on a morning walk.
Went for fathers day brunch, food was very good. Service was as well. My daughter's both loved thier waffles.
Such a beautiful historic building! Breathtaking inside and out!!
