This place has been here longer than I can remember and it has always been a nice place to get some good food. Definitely better than your regular diner. A nice variety of wholesome choices.

One of the best breakfast places in the Umpqua Valley! Big mugs of great tasting coffee too.

I had a Engineer's Burger with curly fries and Pam had Veggie Omelet. So Winchester, Oregon has really good Restaurant .

I have been going there for 35 years with sometimes a few years in between. Not sure what happened, but they need to get a clue and think about the market they serve. Today my wife and I went there for breakfast at 7:30am and were the only other people there when we arrived. It was taking way to long for our order to be taken as 2 waitresses were 5 feet away prepping behind the counter staring at us and another customer walks in they knew and they immediately took his order. We were about to walk out when they took ours.. WAY over priced menu for an old restaurant with crappy service. $15 for a hamburger pattie. Eggs and toast. Burgers were almost $15, and I think they have lost there mind and forgot about the customers. Get a clue!

The wait for food was a bit longer than expected but it was good

Took 4 ever for everything and hotter than hell in there and 11 dollars for 11 oz beer and shot of black velvet

1-Our server got an attitude because we were not ready to order when she thought we should have been. 2-I ordered a veggie omelet that was thoroughly saturated with oil inside and out. the veggies were mushy. 3-The hash browns were super oily and tastes like bacon fat. 4- I politely sent my slimy, foul and disgusting plate back and requested simple pancake and egg, it turned out to be edible but there was never any kind of apology for the bad food or service. 5-Man and woman cooking the food were arguing, sweaty and unclean looking. 6-Gross Gross Gross I will never go back. 7-Biggest nastiest meal BY A DAM SITE!!! HAHAHA! 8-Wish Roseburg had a decent and healthy place to eat.

This is a great little bar and restaurant with fantastic food and friendly staff! They pour excellent drinks and I will most definitely be back!

Large portions, well made ,tasty. Biscuits and gravy, french toast and skillet breakfast were the items tried.

Friendly staff and home style cooking. This place is historic. Check out the Loft. No riffraff and great atmosphere.

We were once regulars at Del Rey, affectionately nicknamed "Hangovers" in our friend group in the long long ago times, and it was always a good, cozy place for breakfast if you were in the area. The servers never minded substitutions, and they were always friendly. It was once our go to place whether we had a night out with friends and needed to recuperate, or if we wanted to go to breakfast with the family. I once felt this place was five stars for our local area While Del Rey has always kept Fox news on the television and we were able to ignore the slight inconvenience, it began to really grate after the last election, and just previous to that the food had started to go downhill. The gravy was once made on site, but at this point it is either a new recipe or they're getting it out of a can. Between the increasingly bland food and the constant blaring of hate on Fox, it's become hard to sit through a meal, and our whole group finally stopped going.

Del ray cafe is a non pretentious place to get a great breakfast, hearty lunch and friendly service. I have lunch there frequently and have never been disappointed or surprised. The coffee is good and frequently refilled. The people watching is great. The counter is my favorite spot to get a quick meal and chat with the staff. Prices are reasonable.

Had chicken fried steak and eggs. It was a preformed pattie. Gravy was good. Service was lacking. Only one waitress on duty and she was a bit of a chatty cathy more interested in talking then waiting tables.

Gone there years before and still the best breakfast ever

This is a local cafe that has customers who have used the place for decades. The dining room needs a serious upgrade and the prices were high, but the food is good.

Stopped here for breakfast. We had the skillet special which was good. Service was excellent. Interesting building. I thought it was a little spendy for breakfast.

I had heard there was new ownership and management so I decided to give Del Rey Cafe another try. My previous experience over 9 years ago was so horrible I have not set foot in the place since. All I can say is WOW! What a difference! Food was fabulous! Not the cheapest menu, but the size of portions was excellent! Even the "small" milk was the size of most places largest.

Premium price for sub par food. $14 for a frozen chicken fried steak greasy hash browns covered with gravy that hid the grease, long wait for a screwed up order. Only positive thing was they comply the hash browns and gravy. Used to be a decient place but I won't return.

I was expecting an actual cafe. It isn't. It's a bar with slot machines. I gave it 3 stars because half the stuff on the menu isn't something you can even order yet, and the name has nothing to do with the actual place.
