Tailored jeans for $50? Why would you get jeans anywhere else?

The only jeans i want to wear. Jump in the queue and be early. Don't turn up expecting to shop for 10mins and be out. Pick your jeans, wait in another queue for the changeing rooms, then get those jeans tailored. Go away, get coffee or whatever, head back, pick up the only jeans worth wearing. Since 2010, I've not bothered with any other jeans purveyor.

Once you go Dejour, you don't buy jeans from another store. $55 a pair, same day free tailoring, friendly staff. Chaotic environment but it's part of the fun.

I came all the way from Sydney and have no regrets. Great quality and value. They are busy, which is a bad thing because they charge reasonable prices.

Fantastic jeans, many different styles and sizes. I found a pair that fit like and dream and they re SO comfy! Staff have a bit of a too cool for school attitude but the seamstresses out the back are just gorgeous. They were laughing away the whole time I was there!

EDIT: although my jeans fit well while they lasted, they ripped after 4 months of use. Despite the store's advertised policy of "free repairs" they refused to fix them as apparently they're too worn? After only 4 months, that's ridiculous.

Lovely staff and great service. I haven't had time to thoroughly test my jeans yet but they fit really well and seem like a good material. There was quite a wait and line all day, and unfortunately some styles and colours were sold out, but I'd highly suggest Dejour for skinny or well-fitting jeans.

The jeans themselves are great quality and the service you usually get is amazing! Though for the amount of effort you have to go through to claim free alterations is not worth spending your entire day off for. I (personally) was not informed to wash and dry my jeans before bringing them in for alter; after having to go launder them down the road, I was then told they were too wet to work on despite spending $10 drying them already. So I was ensured if I came back three days later, they would be dry and ready to be altered on the spot; so my next day off I come in early and request them, only to find they've been sitting in a bag for the whole three days and are still wet and smelly now. Which means, that's right, I'd have to do the whole process again for petrol, time and launder money, it's almost the same going to a local alterations place. Having said that, if you're local and have the time on your day off to do it for the whole day, then amazing!

Great value for money and a wide selection of fits/sizes. Only reason for rating it less than five stars was I personally found most of the staff to be real stuck up, and not helpful. Otherwise, pretty good.

Worth the wait, at last jeans that fit and great value.

Visiting can be daunting at first as shop is quite cramped and very busy. The staff are very helpful and friendly however and do a really good job at servicing the many customers. If you need any assistance do not hesitate to ask them.

Pick a couple of pairs of the shelf and wait in line for the change rooms on the right hand side.

Jeans are a very reasonably price at $55 including alterations.
Alterations took about 2 hours to complete. Make sure you try on again after the first set of alterations as they may need some additional adjustments.

Only thing that could improved would be to reconfigure and increase the size of the store. Probably also best to bring your own shopping bag as the ones provided as quite flimsy.

Dejour Jeans is a real gem. I visited at 9:45 AM on a weekday. After selecting my jeans with help from the lovely staff (sizes run small, best to ask!), it was a 20 minute wait until I could try them on. The staff were great and professional when it came to discussing the fit, and after paying for 2 pair ($55 each - bargain!) - I was told it would be an hour wait for the alterations to be completed. True to their word, my jeans were ready an hour later.

Overall, I am very happy with my new jeans! I am a person who has always struggled finding jeans that fit well around both my hips and waist, and the alterations really solve that problem.

Great shop with attentive staff and turn around alternations for jeans.

The service here was appalling! Waited in line for 30+ minutes. Three girls working and all three were rude and didn t say one word to us - no customer service at all. They could sell so much more if they actually smiled and were helpful without a painful look on their faces!! Tried to turn us away over an hour before closing time as well! Would not recommend - I felt judged and unwelcome. Pity because the jeans are actually nice.

The range of jeans was more limited that I had expected, but the quality for the price is great and free alterations are a bonus, especially for people with less standard proportions.

Corduroy, boyfriend cut, high-waisted, you name it jeans to fit your body in the most stunning way possible. A well spent $50 to make you feel like your jeans are the only piece of clothing you want to wear on the lower half of your body for the rest of your days. A great time for you and your booty.

Men's and women's jeans in nearly wvery colour of denim you could think of. High and low rose, skinny, straight and flared cuts. Alterations are included in the price of the jeans (~$55). Best pair of tailored jeans you'll find. Denim is really good quality too.

This place is rrally popular ao be prepared to queue up to get in the store, for the changerooms and to pick up your jeans after alterations. Definitely worth it though!

Took over an hour on Saturday morning waiting in line but it was completely worth it. Pick your size, style and colour, try it on and get it tailored if you like it for free. Prices range around $35-$55. I bought 3 pairs @$53 each. An hour and a half later it was ready, and they fit perfectly. Fantastic service, Australian made jeans and an excellent concept. PS. When I came back to collect the jeans around 2:45pm today, there wasn't a line anymore, so perhaps wait till after lunch if you want to skip the wait

Great jeans, cheap. Expect a wait to get in, and to have to size up 2 sizes for women's jeans. They take cards, too.

Absolutely terrific jeans. Staff were really helpful and the turnaround for the on-the-spot alterations was quick. Amazing value and quality for jeans under $60. Just get in early as the lines build quickly and the store is small with only a couple of changing rooms.

The jeans are cheap and there are an amazing variety of them, but the they're not standard sizes and run really small.
I'm typically an 18 but couldn't fit into their 24's.

The staff were friendly and helpful but it's so insanely busy that you're definitely up for a wait - doesn't matter what time or day it is.

What's there to not love about this place! Custom fitted jeans - walked out with 5 pairs of Jean's.
I do suggest you get here early as the waiting and line can be out the door. There is a little bit of a wait while the Jean's get altered but you can always go to a nearby cafe and come back and collect them.

Amazing jeans tailored to fit perfectly in three hours, this place is Pants Paradise. They're incredibly helpful and I've always had a perfect fit. I wouldn't buy jeans anywhere else now. And for how crazy inexpensive they are, I'm considering get a pair in every colour. Would recommend to EVERYONE.

Can't go wrong with a $55 pair of jeans altered to your body size and shape. There weren't a lot of colours left for my size (10AUS) otherwise I would have bought 2-3 pairs. Try and go on a weekday cause the line is huge on a weekend.

Went early on a Saturday morning (40 mins before they opened) and was second in line, by the time they opened the line was around the corner. Staff are super friendly and helpful and there is a great selection of colours and styles however any colour that I liked in my size or my sisters were sold out.
Left with a black pair of skinny jeans which is what I wanted but they have already stretched out (I've had them for 2 months) and seem to attract every bit of dust and dirt! For an everyday jean, they're good value (at $55) and wash better than Cotton On or Kmart Jeans.
EDIT: I have added an extra star as I bought a pair of black g-star jeans for $180 thinking that they'll be better than the Dejour, I was WRONG! The Dejour are comfier and still look better!

Great jeans, good price, quick and free alterations!

A crazy chaotic and very amusing shopping experience where you try on a basic Jean and they do everything to it to fit you and you pick it up an hour later and it's all one price. How good is that.

I was last here 4 years ago and am excited to go back for more. Still happily wearing the last pair of jeans I bought here but have treated myself to the high waisted style this time. Nicely hemmed and subtly altered to fit my unique figure.

Great qual jeans at an amazing price! Free alterations mean that they fit better than any jeans you have ever owned. Expect to wait in line, but definitely worth the wait

Often long waits in uncomfortable conditions, but always worth the trip. Great denim quality, large selection of colours and sizes, excellent tailoring options and friendly staff. Always make the trip across town for my sole denim supplier

Hardly "custom" if they can only take in the fit. Didn't have any length option and wouldn't adjust the pockets of the men's jeans (which were the only really long options). Great if you are average or shorter

Staff know what they re doing! Made it so easy! Went there for opening and alterations were done in an hour!

Bought 3 pairs of jeans, i took recommendation from the staff on sizing. Even after 3 trips back to the shop for alterations my pants still aren't a decent fit. The front pockets are around on the sides of my hips the rise is too low. What a waste of money and time.

I have been told its MADE IN AUSTRALIA.....so support local businesses with Gr8 prices n Jean's adjustments services onsite for all of us who are too tall, short n rounded that general Jean's manufacturer's have forgotten about

Good selection of colours and basic styles. Love the extra high waist pants and am interested in some corduroy.
Leave plenty of time for alterations, especially if you'll want extra changes. Otherwise try on and pick up next day

It's a bit of a unique system, but the staff are very helpful and get you sorted very efficiently. I can't think of a better alternative for jeans that just fit right. Can't complain about the price, either.

Custom fit pants tailored onsite in under an hour. Place is quite small, and seems very busy with staff hurrying along. Staff were very friendly and efficient, pants priced at $55 with tailoring. Would recommend, I've been wearing them for a month or so and they seem great.

Good service and cost of tailoring is included in the price of the jeans (between $50-60).

Don't let the weekend queues deceive you (although I do recommend getting there early), because once inside, the service is quick, efficient and you really do walk away with jeans that fit you perfectly! I was able to pick up my altered pairs within an hrs wait on a Saturday morning; just went and had tea and cake while I waited. Staff are also very knowledgeable and helpful with finding the best cut and style for you, so I will be back very soon!

Been coming here for years now. You need to go into here knowing what you want in terms of style and alterations. Good jeans at a great price point, lots of different styles and colours available. Quick turnaround on alterations and repairs, and they're really accommodating with them too.

Only thing is that sometimes the attendants are a bit unsure of themselves, which can throw you off in your own decision making if you're asking them for their opinion or recommendations. However there are of course the more experienced ones who are really helpful!

A unique place to get good quality jeans for great value, tailored for free!

Service was great, the staff were very attentive, didn't have my size available but the girl that helped me was still able to find something for me and was able to have them adjusted for a great fitting pair of jeans. The alterations only took an hour.

Great option for Aussie made jeans. Good range of styles and colours. This place is always busy, but once in you get the fitting attention you need, if you require it. Walk in, select your jeans, try them on, have any alteretions marked out, pay and then collect. Don't queue up if you're only collecting, just walk straight in.

I have been planning to come to Dejour for over a year after hearing incredible things but I had such a disappointing experience in store today. I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by being there. I asked for help and received little response and the jeans were in the wrong places so I couldn't shop independently either. I may have gotten them on a bad day but the 'too cool' attitude seemed to come from every staff member except one who was working their hardest to attend to every customer as best they could (they were also the only one wearing a mask).

Haven't owned a pair of jeans for 12 years. Going horse riding so need to get myself sorted because leggings won't cut it. Of course I know Dejour, I have lived around the corner for 26 years but never once walked into the place. So, in I go. The products and staff exceeded my high expectations. Couldn't believe how cheap the jeans are too. TBH I think they should charge more and give the money to the amazing staff on the floor and behind the machines. I am pretty sure I saw the boss running up a denim skirt too so it's not just jeans. Can't recommend highly enough.

A place where you can pick the type of jeans you like (stretchy, skinny, baggy) and get it altered to your size for FREE. So you have a comfortable jeans to wear for a while. If your size changes you can get re-altered for free. Instead of paying $$$$ on big Brand jeans at the store, I found that this is a much better option. These are good quality jeans too. Don't take my word for it, please visit this yourself and try it on. $50 - 60 for jeans.

pretty disappointed. I've been going for years and the quality of the Jean's has dropped but also the staff wouldn't listen to me about what I wanted. This is my 6th time getting the Jean's tailored to my body, I know what I like. Sadly I won't be going back.

I'm so cut up that i wasted $160 on Wranglers after wearing some Dejour jeans. $55 and they are amazing quality and fit just the way i like it. Girls on the floor are super friendly and efficient at getting the customers in and out. Would recommend.

I bought some jeans here recently that were at first nice but soon stretched out over the next two weeks, when I went back to alter them they were initially great in adjusting them for no additional fee.
Unfortunately the alteration performed by their reccomendation broke the structure of the jeans causing them to twist and be painful to wear.
The staff were polite and helpful in further altering the jeans but ultimately the jeans were no longer wearable and they business refused an exchange or refund.
This is the first pair of jeans I've ever had that were uncomfortably painful and the first pair I've had to throw out brand new completly wasting my money, for that reason I can't recomend them to anyone.

I visited the store on a Wednesday mid afternoon. Stock of my size was a little low but I found suitable jeans. I was told they get more stock on a daily basis if I wanted to wait for more variety.
They made several alterations to both pairs I bought. Pickup was 1 hr after purchase. I'm very happy with the fit and price.

Nice quality reasonable ($55/$60) jeans with tailoring included. Great service and decent selection. Just be prepared to spend some time, there's not a lot of fitting rooms and people might take them up for a while. Definitely my go to spot for jeans in Melbourne.
