I visited Deep Ellum Brewing Co taproom for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. They had a live band playing outside and there was a food truck parked next to it if you wanted to grab a bite, which is really nice. I really liked the taprooms size and they had a good amount of their craft brews on tap, I didn't know they had that many varieties. They also had a good selection of merch if you wanted to grab a t-shirt or a hat. I would recommend checking it out if your a fan of beer.

Drinks are good, decent variety of beers.

Food options are also good - Shrimp tacos, margarita pizza and sliders were all very tasty.

The Location at Deep Ellum is little bit shady, but that neighborhood is getting better now.
Nice plate for hanging out with friends or coworkers

This is a fun brewery that offers a good variety of beers (something for everyone). The Easy Peasy IPA was indeed easy drinking, and their cherry Play Date was refreshing on a hot summer's day. In their taproom they have delicious burgers, and an amazing "meat & cheese board" as well (a generously sized portion).

One of the best patios around, especially at sunset. Excellent Double IPA in an area of town that has a huge amount to offer locals and tourists alike! Definitely recommend to any beer lover traveling through Dallas.

Wow, this place was really hopping for an early Saturday afternoon, I was really surprised when we showed up just afternoon and the place was packed with people. The reason we came here of course was the beer and it really is good stuff. During our stay we had four different beers including the Praline Porter, Easy Peasy IPS, Neato Bandito Lager and the Rye Pilsner.

Beers were $5.00 for a pint at the bar, but if you were smart enough to go out back to the tent, you could buy a special pint glass with three drink tokens in it for $15,00 which makes the glass or one beer basically free. Of course if your glass collection is already getting to big, this may be something you want to avoid. I could not pass up the logo glass with their Deep Ellum Brewing version of a smily face.

We met a number of nice people while we here here and had a nice afternoon enjoying the beers. The parking is crowded right around the brewery, but there is plenty around the surrounding neighborhood on the weekends.

There was a food truck on site, not my favorite food truck in Dallas through.

We enjoyed it and will be sure to come back and try some of the different seasonal beers that are available.

On our anniversary trip this past week, my husband and I were looking for a brewery to try while we were in Dallas, as we are from northern IN and have access to some of the best brews in the country, we were excited to try some southern beers.
We arrived around 6-7 on a Wednesday and it was a quiet crowd which we didn't mind. We felt as if we were regulars after being there for a few hours. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and our waitress was sweet and informative. We order the Elote tots which were insane! We also ordered the sliders and a burger. Beer was great and atmosphere was fun! Will be back next time we're in Dallas!

Great beer, try the flights (not avaible on saturday). Just really good beer, worth the crowded people.

Came here on a Friday night after the Deep Ellum Arts Festival in April for some snacks and brews with a friend. Wanted to try the Cherry Chocolate Double Brown stout. Nice atmosphere, primarily friendly staff. We were given some recommendations by a regular and went with the Elote tots for snacking. Pretty good, and can be ordered with brisket. Definitely enough to share between 2-3 people. I definitely preferred the Cherry Chocolate over the Local Legend, but that's personal preference, it seemed to have more flavor. Flights are offered on every day but Saturday, but the beers are mainly $5 for a pour aside from some of the seasonals or specials so that's pretty reasonable for Dallas, especially the Deep Ellum area. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well, so that's nice in the Spring/Summer. They do also sell some sodas and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as merchandise such as shirts. It was a nice place, and I have no complaints. Would recommend for a visit for locals or tourists.

Was recently in Dallas for a short weekend away and was really excited to see a creative craft brew culture over there. The Deep Ellum Brewery was my favorite. I'm spoiled for choice in Denver, CO, but Deep Ellum wasn't too different from what I'm normally used to. The area surrounding the brewery is also urban and hip. Would definitely go back again on my next trip to Dallas!

If you are looking for poor service and employees that clearly hate their job, this is your place. Sad to see that Deep Ellum Brewing has lost their drive. So many other places to hit up in Deep Ellum. No longer the only game in town and not worth the trip.

The Deep Ellum area has always had a quirky reputation, and this place will not disappoint you. Deep Ellum Brewery is great spot with some of the best beer in Texas. Come for a drink and stay for a live show!

Beers were mediocre/ok. Staff was not friendly or helpful to out of towners at all and I'm super easy going. Seemed pretty dead for a Saturday night. Merch was lame. Outdoor space and decor was really cool.

Community Brew was much more welcoming and helpful and had several award winning beers.

Went here for a friend's birthday so we were in a fairly large party. The nice part about a place like this is that you can go with a TON of people and the service will still be the same because all they do is take things away from the table and bring over drinks. The service was great; the waiter came over every 10 minutes to see if we needed anything.

These guys know how to brew a beer...in fact they know how to brew a lot of great beers!! Plus they hold special events that bring out the best of the best! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves craft beer.

When we go out for a male company to have a rest, we definitely go to our favorite place. In the brewery colorful interior, friendly staff and the most important branded beer. The taste of beer is rich and incomparable. When you are in Dallas you need to visit this place.

Yum yum yum! Incredible beer selection and food. We found this place after walking at the Zoo all day and it was exactly what we needed.

I would suggest the summer beer on tap right now or the Dallas Blonde.

Customer service is great too!

It was mid summer, a beautiful Texas day, clouds speckled the sky like spots on a heffer ready to give birth. As I and my compatriots stumbled around with sun weary legs guiding us aimlessly, looking for a something cold to rid us of the sun that ravished our bodies into a hellish frenzy of heat and sweat that rolled down our backs. We began at each others throats. "Quickly, we must find nourishment and drinks!" one spoke into the wind. "Guys," he says "this heat is brutal." Spotting a smiling face with what looked to be some sort of bottle covering its mouth. I began to believe that my sun soaked brain was merely playing tricks on my eyes. ALAS! I stress no longer for my eyes were not playing tricks on me, a building with a smiling face with the words "Deep Ellum Brewery?" I sputter out of my mouth. With a quick and decisive decision my humble associates and I wonder like curious puppies into this incredibly welcoming warm environment. Fellow humans laugh and cheer on the exterior with their familiars by their sides. Pulling open the doors to the interior we are blasted by the frigged air of the chamber within. Extravagant art lines the wall, a beautiful face welcomes us. "You boys look like you could use a drink." She says in a angelic voice. More humans inside playing card games, large towers constructed of small pieces of wood topple over in jubilee, the bartenders quickly pour ales, and beers handing them to the servers. "That we do ma'am, that we do."

This is a great experience at a local brewery. We have been here a couple of times on Saturdays and it s a blast plus a great deal for delicious beer! The food is not too shabby either! One of our favorite spots in Dallas.

Good beer, good music, good people, but most importantly good beer. Cody always makes good conversation and has a quick joke and a good handshake. Deep Ellum Brewing also has some of the best local craft brews, a definite visit if you like beer and happen to be in the Dallas area.

Fun place to visit and hang out during their weekly Saturday noon-3pm open house. $15/person for a pint glass and 3 beers. Good selection of styles to try and very friendly staff. Reasonably priced merchandise too.

Absolute best beers ever! The rye ipa is so amazing - just love the flavor. If you are in town this is definitely worth a trip. Have to avoid peak times though if you can - gets a little crowded

Absolutely loving the relaxing atmosphere at Deep Ellum. Been wanting to come here, but now even more with the pandemic and wanting to support local businesses. Upon walking in the music is jamming old and new school blues. Love the random and cool stickers all over the walls, poles, and every where in between. It is just enough weird to be cool and I really like it! To allow for physical distancing there are a few tables with chairs, but they are spread a part and are sanitized after each customer leaves. There are tables and chairs outside as well, but it was just too hot today to sit out there. I think in a couple of months I will come back and check out the patio for sure! In the meantime I will keep relaxing and sipping on my jam v jelly and seltzer combo while people watching and listening.

Fabulous beers brewed on site, for all kinds of tastes. Selection changes based on what's brewing and always something new. Good food and nice atmosphere make this a favorite with locals. The people that work here are really nice too. Stop by and check it out!

Being a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur, I enjoy visiting this place occasionally on a Saturday afternoon.

While i tend to prefer offerings of other Dallas area craft breweries, Lakewood and Peticolas in particular, I consider the ambiance of drinking one of their brews from their outdoor patio at their Deep Ellum location is time well spent.

Great place to grab a beer if you're in Dallas. First and foremost the beer is fantastic. Great IPAs, and they're branching out into other genres as well. Try a flight for $10. But beware if it's the weekend they don't have flights available. Still take the opportunity to try a couple before you decide because let's face it, they're all great beers.

The atmosphere is relaxed. There's a bar area inside with a couple tvs. Outdoor featured a spacious beer garden, where your dogs can roam. Lots of games available to play. Blues music set a nice mood. Bartenders are conversational and super nice. Very knowledgeable about beer. Didn't get a chance to try any food, unfortunately. But I hear good things.

Overall I had a great time at this brewery. I appreciated the delicious beer, solid service, and great ambiance. Plan on coming back again.

Some of my favorite beer in town which is why I m giving 5 stars. It gets incredibly busy and has an outdoor open air area, so their AC can t keep up with in the summer. You can t blame them for that, their success has caused an almost unfixable issue

I d love for there to be some food options, food trucks or local vendors could come and finish the true local feel this place has.

If you like IPAs you will like their selection. To be honest ai was not personally impressed by their beer selection. I expected more from a brewery. That being said...their patio looked nice for summertime. I didnt try the food. I probably won't be back, but don't let this deter you from trying it.

Nice vibe, warm and clean. Tried a flight, and enjoyed most of them, with Deep Ellum White IPA being my personal favorite. They has cool swag to add to my coaster and sticker collection as well.

I had a great time hanging out and drinking beer at the Deep Ellum Brewing Company. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was great. They have a nice outdoor patio, but I was unable to enjoy it due to how hot it was that day. I'll definitely be going back soon.

Pretty awesome brewery with a nice knowledgeable staff. The beer is tasty and the options are endless. The indoor facility for standing and drinking is a little small. But the outdoor patio makes up for it.

First time visitor. Loved the place, the beers and the people. We had a really good time just talking beer with other folks sitting at the bar. Atmosphere and service were great. The Oak Cliff Coffee Ale is our favorite but they are discontinuing it dang it. There are several other great beers on tap. We will be back every time we get close to downtown.
Thanks for a great time!

A must see in Deep Ellum! My husband and I travel a lot and love to visit local breweries, but this is one of the absolute best! Every beer we've had has been exceptional. Wheather you're a craft beer fanatic or tend to stick to wine, you'll find something here that you love. They have a great dog friendly patio and table games as well as corn hole. The food is tasty if you wanted to get an appetizer or have dinner here. We highly recommend Deep Ellum Brewing!
