Horrible. They did not call. Just drove by and left a card SHOVED. In my window. There is a spot on the business card that the appraiser can leave info on the card. My appraiser chose to leave NOTHING. He never called so now I have to go through EXTRA STEPS to get the inside appraised. Extremely unprofessional.
I would give zero stars. I requested to be contacted before the appraisal so that I could be sure everything was included since there was electrical damage. Didnt contact me...and low and behold i go to pick up my vehicle and half of the damage wasnt fixed. Keep calling keep getting the run around. Rediculous service. And now i have to go through this all over again to get my damn car fixed.
SCA is a terrible company to work with. AAA assigned them to my claim case to get my car valued, and so far the appraiser has gone from a 2 PM appointment to "I'll be there eventually." Then he asks me what side of town I live on, when I told him the other day i just moved here. And then SCA decided to change appraisers without my knowledge and say the soonest one will be here is Thursday. I cleared my day for the first one, and now I have to clear my day again because they cant tell their butt from their head. If you give a time I expect you to show up at that time. Dont promise to be somewhere when you know your not going to make it there.
They told me they will schedule an appraisal within 48 hours. 48 hours passed and I did not receive a call from them. I called them to see what was going on where they finally said they will appraisal later today. I finally received a call stating they finished with the appraisal only to find out they did not actually do it and they postponed my appraisal till the next Monday.
Terrible company to work with, makes excuses and blames the customer.

I had the displeasure of meeting with Daniel. He unsucceffully attempted to marginalize the damage of my vehicle. After getting slammed from the side my engine now has a severe knock what she says was in no way related to the accident which is complete BS also he try to say that the electronics couldn't have been damaged in the side view mirror although they are clearly scratches on it which he did say would be consistent with the accident absolute garbage do not recommend stay far away from them if you can

I worked with Michael in Fresno, ca. He was generally nice when we spoke and fairly helpful. The only issue I had was it took them almost 2 weeks just to "find my vin number" in their system. Other than that they did fairly well by me.
Very polite cust svc on the phone promise anything, but actually getting them to do something requires repeated threats to report them to the insurance co.
We are USAA customers in Lexington, KY. Our gorgeous 2016 Nissan Murano was in a hail storm in Tennessee while visiting family.
We were concerned initially by hearing that a third-party outfit was going to be doing the estimating for USAA. SCA Appraisal was the third-party.
Communication with our adjuster was great. He called promptly and met me in one day. He showed up on time. He was very polite and seemed genuinely concerned. He looked me in the eye when he talked and never said anything that led me to sense a run-around.
He was a very nice man and reassured me repeatedly of the condition, it's ability to be repaired, and his commitment to help us get the car completely fixed.
When I went to the dent repair shop, the guys were very impressed with how thorough the estimate was. We did find a couple of dings that were not on the estimate, but the SCA adjuster had previously indicated that under the shop's lights, additional damage might be found. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear the positive feedback from the dent guys. They indicated that such thoroughness was rare and that I should be relieved.
I called the SCA adjuster to let him know the feedback that I had received on his estimate and that I was very grateful for his service. He indicated that if there were any additional issues with the vehicle that were still not discovered, that he'd make sure it was addressed and without hassle to me.
Overall, I'm as happy as I can possibly be after watching our new car pummeled by hail. I would recommend SCA.

Terrible company. The only reason I have to use this company is because my insurance company uses this company for damage apparisal. It's almost impossible to reach customer service or anyone at all to get a status update. Since they take so long to respond, it cost me more money because my car can't get repaired on time.
SCA lowballed the estimate for repairs to my car after I was in an accident. There was obvious suspension damage (wheel bent inwards) and they excluded it from the appraisal. The appraiser verbally stated that he estimated it was ~$5,000 of damage during the appraisal but the report from SCA only listed ~$2,000 of damage and excluded the obvious suspension damage from the estimate.
This resulted in a 1 week delay to the repair of my vehicle while my repair shop discussed the damage with SCA and it cost the insurance company an extra week of rental car expense so I don't know who is benefiting from SCA's incompetence but it isn't the insurance company or any of the parties involved in the accident.
What SCA is doing should be investigated by the California Department of Insurance because it is obvious they are playing some sort of game.
I had an estimate completed, well i had someone look at my truck and write was looked to be an estimate. First thing noticed on the estimate was that they wrote for 17 inch wheels when my truck has 18. Second that he wrote to paint the bed side but subtracted paint time, didn't add clear time and then also never wrote for any kind of R&I on my vehicle. So they were just going to try and paint around the parts and hope for the best? This is by far the worst estimate i have ever seen and would not recommend that anyone use this appraisal company. Not to mention that when i called for assistance and a supplement they fought me on it tooth and nail and said that is how the ins company wants it written, well that's not reg 64 in NY.
Terrible. 3 Set appointments. 3 no call and no show Appraisers. Unbelievably unprofessional. Do not use them if you can avoid it.
if I could give zero stars I would! This company is atrocious. They sent a link (cost savings over sending an adjuster) which took over 30 mins of my time to take pictures of my car that their insured client hit, after the review they automatically issued a check for less than 30% of the total estimate to actually repair the vehicle, I left 5 messages, no return calls- finally I got a hold of the rep who is outrageously rude and unprofessional....hoping I get so annoyed that I give up. Absolutely ridiculous way to do business

My insurance goes through them and they are the absolute worst. 2 weeks into a somewhat major accident and had to call to recieve updates the whole time. Took a week just to get the appraiser out to look at my car.

Since it was an appraisal for the insurance company for the person who hit me, I thought it was going to be a nightmare because of bad reviews on this site. Kelly who appraised my car was extremely professional and friendly. She answered all my questions and very knowledgeable about the industry.
The employees who work for this company are not well educated in automotive repairs and will low ball an appraisal. I have been involved in auto body and know something about repairs. This company will argue with how something needs to be repaired based on the insurance companies needs and direction. They appraised my vehicle three times each estimate fluctuating by several thousands of dollars. The initial estimate by the company was just over $6k the second was $16k and the third $11k, an obvious sign they are clueless when it comes to auto repairs.
