You will not be disappointed here for food, beer, music, or atmosphere. I highly recommend the brewery tour. This local, independent brewery is a must for beer nerds and casual drinkers alike.

Food, Beer and friendly atmosphere is really good, take a great time with your friends, even alone!. Outside smells beauty when beer is in built process. I love the corn with potatoes dish, or the meat nachos, delicious!

Fantastic experience. We ordered the loaded tots, and I had a taco plate with the veggie, pulled pork and chicken tacos; my wife had the Local Legend beer and I had the Cheedo Bandito brew. Almost every aspect of the food and drink was outstanding. The veggie taco was amazing, the pulled pork was very good, the chicken was a little dry but okay. Loaded tots were incredible. My wife's beer was very good and the Cheedo bandito was alcoholic Fritos in a glass and I loved it. Very recommended if you have the chance to get here. service was wonderful at the bar and in the restaurant. Our server Macy was wonderful to talk to and knew Dallas like the back of her hand.

Good vibe and good food. I wish their beer menu was a little more varied, they don't have much if you aren't interested in an IPA. The service was about on par with any other bar where your wait staff pays a lot of attention to you for 10 minutes and then doesn't show back up for another 20.

The place for outstanding beer and solid food in Ft Worth! Look for Jordan behind the bar, and let him take you through a great beer and food experience. If you re a Hazy IPA fan, check this place

Great beer, great vibe, and great people. Abbey rocks! Definitely always have their main stay beers and then try a newbie. Dallas Blonde is my go to but Dreamcrusher is the ultimate double IPA. Best place to enjoy them is at the source!

So far, deep Ellum Brewery is my top choice in dallas

We went to Labor of Love Homebrew festival hosted by Deep Ellum Brewery. Labor of Love is a tasting and competition for those home brewers to show their skills. There were some I m very accustomed to, some I ve heard of and intrigued to try and some I ve never heard of before in my life. The cost to enter was $10.00 and unlimited pours until sold out is a steal.
So, with a steady liver and faux locs atop my head I was ready to go forth and conquer. It s was an extremely hot day so I was elated that the event started at 5:00pm. The first thing I came upon was a Welcome beer from Deep Ellum. They had a nice ice cold tub of three beers to choose to allow you to cool off and set your strategy of this open field. I ll share with you my favorite picks of the day. I started off with 2nd Hand Beers. They had a version of Michelada called Le Reina (The Queen) 5.25% abv. I absolutely loved it. I m a Bloody Mary fan for any version you give me. I could have even had a little more heat to it. Our own North Texas Ambassador, Jerry with NTX Beer, did a collaboration called Refresca-Te (Refresh Yourself).
It s a matcha tea blonde at 5.12% abv. It s great by itself or a beer cocktail would work nicely with this brew. Next was Strange Bruwith their Dunkel Weizen. If chocolate and banana danced; this would be their beer two-step. Very even and drinkable, smooth with light chocolate on the nose. The banana is subtle and only 5.00 % abv.
Smittox Brewing Co. always comes to shut things down and this was no exception. Every beer he had was amazing. We all know about the Short Order Porter but what had the line backup was Nibs and Butter Milk Stout 6.4% abv. It will have you dreaming about a peanut butter cup when you inhale your glass. We were cautioned to try it with a couple of pretzels. It truly opens up the flavor of the beer. Smittoxcares and knows what he s putting you through because you just want more. We wanted more, and hence that s why the line just continued to grow. By my next trip, I got smart and finished my 2nd helping of Nibs and Bitter to try Feeling Good/Feeling Great. It s aptly named after themovie, Trading Places.
It s a kettle sour with watermelon, blackberry and yuzu 5.3% abv. Absolutely delicious. These sold out quickly. I know I helped.
The highlight of my evening was Driveway Brewing. They re offering was a Peaches n Cream so full of peach aroma before I even get it close to my nose. It was lovely at 5.5% abv. It was light and easy drinking. The Rico Radlerwas the game changer at 4.00% abv! It gave honor to Jarritos drink with hints of grapefruit, slightly floral and crushable. This beer hit me in the best way because I didn t really know what to expect. I wanted to know where could get it, because I needed pronto. Can I celebrate Beer to-go with Driveway Brewing putting a case of this in my backseat?! Also, it was only for the competition, and maybe if we catch them at another event we could get more. Yes, we totally closed his shop down by drinking Rico Radler or telling every person that would listen to stop and make their way to Driveway s tent.

Tour isn't what's posted online, there wasn't a tasting option available at the end so that was kind of a bummer. That being said, you're welcome to ask for samples up front, the bartenders are amazing, the elote tots with pork are a must-have, there's good live music, and (most important) the beer is fantastic. Really loved their sour!

Great place to hangout on Saturdays for the brewery tour. Outdoor patio with live music, dog friendly! You get three beers for $12.. no brainer. The food is excellent as well. Try the pulled pork nachos bufffalo wings, loaded tater tots! Can't go wrong here folks. Great beer, awesome food, good times!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do not come here if you are a minority unless you want to be discriminated and humiliated publicly. Screw the bartenders if that s what you want to call these clowns.

I wasn t too impressed with the place. It felt like they were trying too hard to fit in with a hipster vibe. It looked like they tried too hard to seem like they were a hole in the wall brewery in some long forgotten gem of the city, but everything was too new and nice. The staff also wasn t very friendly and was cold shouldered whenever questions were asked. The only nice one was the women with the purple hair that brought a water bowl for my dog. Thank you whoever you were!

One of the best taprooms in the D/FW area. They have a focus on IPAs & high ABV beers. Went there today for a Dallas Zoo fundraiser & also had some pork sliders that were excellent. They have occasional live music and food trucks to supplement the kitchen.

From New England: went to Dallas for the Crossroads Guitar Festival and dropped by this place. A Great Choice! Awesome beer, relaxed atmosphere, really great outside area with a small stage for live music. Food was enjoyable and paired well with the beers. Highly recommended!

Very nice atmosphere and staff. While the beers aren't very creative, they are usually well executed. Unfortunately, the owners sold a majority stake to an investment group. There are other options (Peticolas; Community) if you would rather support a locally owned brewery.

Since they added their outdoor beer garden, this place has become quite a fun place to hang out. They host live music in the garden and you can enjoy the great brews while listening. Its a great place to go. The people are very kind and helpful. And are willing to answer any kind of question you have regarding their beer brewing process.

Great tap room. Cool temps inside and plenty of shade on the patio. The patio had a fine stage that can be considered excellent for a tap room stage. 14 taps ready to go. Staff was kind and easy to deal with. They dealt with a diverse crowd ranging from brotown to Jimmy Buffet Parrotheads to serious beer drinkers. They had an excellent selection of tap room merchandise for the beer collector.

Great beer, not much new or unique if you are a fan of Deep Ellum. They had two it of ten beers on tap that weren't Deep Ellum traditional flavors. There menu is excellent. We had nachos and Elotes Tots, which were excellent.

Excellent beer (I've had the IPA and Blonde) served in a neat venue, all set in a very cool neighborhood. There is ample area indoors and outdoors, which a stage for a band as well as various games/activities (i.e. cornhole, Uno, Connect Four, etc.). Highly recommended!

Great selection of beers, had the sour beer which was very good, and purchase the Dallas Blonde from the stores whenever I see it.

Good appetizers and nice atmosphere to sit inside or outside on patio.
