I did not expect someone who had resigned to come and work on my Panel. The worker did not care what he did as It was his last day on the job . He was already in a bad mood since He did not have any helper to do the Panel upgrade. Company was not willing to give any monitory compensation for delay and lack of service. I had to hire my own Electrician to make sure Panel was done right. There were short coming which I brought to the attention of the Company but they were not willing to offer compensation for full filling their commitment in a timely manner.

Anthony Perez was very professional and did work well. You could tell he knew what he was doing, was very knowledgeable and even educated us and showed us what he was doing. I would absolutely request him again. Actually going to hire them for another job installing ceiling fan. Definitely 5 stars!!!

John and his team of dedicated professionals are top notch and highly recommended. Not only are the services offered that are asked for, but also John makes sure they get done right. I have had a number of services performed by DEC over the years including whole house fan upgrade, replacement of CFL with LED fixtures, and installation of timers and dimmer switches. Most recently 35 lights in my home in my last visit were upgraded from CFL to LED - some as high as 16 feet from floor to ceiling. Would come back to DEC with any electrical needs in future and would recommend to anyone who looks for great electrical service whatever the project size small to large at a reasonable price.

We added another exterior wall light on the garage. Tony and Jarred were on-time, very professional, courteous, and very meticulous in their work. My wife and I are happy with the look and work of these two gentlemen. We had DEC install 4 Quiet Cool whole house fan last week. John provided us with excellent customer service in determining the best system for our house. He explained the options over the phone. The next morning, his crew showed up on time. They located just the right spots for fan installation. They quickly installed the fans and cleaned up very well. The quality of installation of units and controller was perfect. We are enjoying nice cool nights with our new Quiet Cool fans
John and his team did a great job upgrading my panel, installing an EV charging outlet and hot tub circuit for my home in Yucca Valley. Communication could have been more responsive and time in between electrical upgrade and stucco repair work could have been shorter, but overall they did a satisfactory job.
I called this group based on their excellent customer reviews and was not dissapointed. when the service people arrived and inspected the existing whole house fan, rather than pushing to replace they were able to make a simple repair saving me over $1,800! This type of ethical behavior is rare today and commend this company for their ethics and professionalism.

Called twice for a small home wiring project. The first time I spoke with someone who said the technician would get back to me that day. Two days later I called again and left a message with answering service. Have still not received a call back. Found another electrician that is more responsive.

Got a Quiet Cool Stealth Pro 7.0x whole house fan installed today after getting quotes from four companies. The salesman, Rick, was extremely knowledgeable and forthright. The installers, David and TIm, were prompt, courteous, and efficient. They cleaned up the job area better than any other installers I've ever had work in my house. I am very happy with the entire experience and cannot wait for the warmer weather to put this thing to use.
Everything about my experience with this company was positive. The crew was on time, the panel upgrade was seamless, everything worked as before, the inspection was issueless. The stucco patch after upgrade made it look much nicer then before. The entire crew from scheduling to the final stucco fixing is top notch.
Steve came out to help us figure out why the power was off in the master bedroom. He was very prompt, efficient and patient telling us what he was doing and why. Greatly appreciated. They installed a QuietCool system but did so incorrectly. I'm out $2k and they won't call back, ignore my voicemails and texts, and the two people I was referred to ignore me- Rick and Jon.

Outstanding company with elite customer service. I called around town for other estimates and found that Direct Electric was best at explaining details and best at price. I got an electrical panel with solar ready hook up and an electric car charger plus diagnosis in two areas of my house. The installer was super friendly and very clean. He even cleaned the leaves out my garage that got blown in from leaving it open most of the day. All of the work was done by code and all necessary permits were approved. I was left better than how they first came to my house. This company is second to none in all levels of professionalism. I highly recommend you give them a shot.
Steve and Tim installed 2 ceiling fans for us today, they did a great job. Fast service. One of the fans had a broken part, they even went to Lowe s for us to replace it so we didn t have to.
I purchased the largest QuietCool whole house system from DE. The service was top notch prior to and during install. However, this all falls apart as soon as the sale is completed. I chose to have it installed in a part of the hallway where the three small bedrooms meet up to and this turned out to be a bad idea because even though the air flow noise is good at lowest speed, the low frequency rumbling of the systems against the walls is enough to be very annoying for anyone trying to sleep in those 3 bedrooms. I was never warned nor advised about this type of concern, and was actually told it was a good idea when I suggested the placement for install. I contacted Rick (sales guy) and explained to him the situation but unfortunately have been ignored and denied any rectification.
I assumed that DE would've provided the customer service needed to resolve the situation by simply moving the unit to somewhere more strategic. Once they've made the sale, they ignore any further inquiries I've made and when I do get ahold of them, they tell me they've simply "forgotten" about followed by a pissing match on who has to pay up to change the placement.
I've even offered to split the cost if any for simply having the installers move it to another spot, considering it didn't even take longer than an hour to install, however, they won't budge. Once they've got your sale, you can pretty much be assured you won't get any more service out of them. Live and learn, for those of you out there thinking about what type of service they provide after they've taken payment, I'd consider a different company that provides good service even AFTER they've made the sale.
**EDIT** I've received a phone call from the owner and he has apologized for the incident and proposed a solution that will work for both of us hopefully. I've edited my review in the interim as to not adversely affect the decision of potential buyers, as google doesn't allow me to delete the review.

I first reached out to several companies and they were the first to respond. I found their quote to be very reasonable so we ended up hiring them to install 2 pendant lights and 4 new recessed lights in my kitchen. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. One of the best experiences using an electrician that I ever had. I'm not sure if all electricians do this but it was refreshing to know I could get pricing right over the phone. I feel like most contractors like to size you up and try to feel out how much they can charge you. With these guys you can tell them exactly what you want. I need a few ceiling fans installed and electrical outlets in the ceiling. Couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
We recently needed our homes electrical system updated and expanded. We had some specific requests. I met with Mike. I liked how he answered our questions quickly and confidently. The men who came to do the installation were very accommodating and friendly. I was impressed how professional the company was!

Don't bother if you are really interested in getting some electric work done. Jeff from Direct Electric came by for a review of work desired and quote. Said he would get back to me with a quote... 4 weeks later and 3 calls to their office to ask when quote would be sent passed by WITHOUT EVEN A COURTESY return call. If you don't want the work, just say so.
Your reply is incorrect. I called two days after your visit on a Monday. The lady that answered the phone said you were not in that day but she would contact you about it. Called two days later again on Oct 4 that I had not received anything and again the lady that answered the phone said she would text you. No reply. No quote.

They came and installed a Quiet Cool Fan System on 3/23/21. The install was fast, the installer brought plastic to cover their work area. They were done in about 1 hour. The installer Mike took time to explain how to operate the system and information me of the warranty and it s effective date. I would definitely use them again.
The guys were on time to install a dedicated outlet for our garage door opener. They were professional, worked with our neighbor s dogs barking like mad without any complaint, did not make a mess (or cleaned up after themselves if they did), and stayed to make sure the garage door opener was functioning properly (it has a weird extra safety step that none of us were familiar with.) Everything works great and we are now up to code. Thank you!

After some initial hiccups where DEC missed some things from our general inspector I will admit, I was none too pleased. My detailed review is on Yelp. However, DEC reached out, refunded the cost and performed a much more thorough inspection the second time in the manner I expected from the first go-round. They made it right, which is what matters. 4 Stars overall.

Direct Electric Company installed our new Quiet Cool whole house fan. We had an older, larger, noisy, inefficient model from 1999 which had stopped working. At first the electrician (Mr. Michael Cannady) explained that the larger model would not fit in the existing space. Then he not only promised to solve the problem, he said he would not leave until the job was done. Direct Electric supported him by sending a smaller model to our home. This was important because we needed the installation to take place that day in order to take advantage of a sizable discount from the fan s manufacture. The job was completed so professionally, very clean and with a full explanation and demonstration for working the unit. Yes the ceiling needed to be re-dry walled, but the temporary closure completed by Mr. Cannady was very nicely done. Direct Electric also provided a referral. We highly recommend Direct Electric Company for your electrical needs. We will use the company in the future for our remodeling jobs.

The repair electricians were great, but I was disappointed to have to pay $225 to have a "warranty" repair on a fan that failed after 14 months because of DEC's poor original installation.

We had our Quiet Cool installed by Anthony 2 weeks ago. He was VERY professional & informative! Even when we had to reschedule due to wrong unit given to him for install the first time... he kept us informed. Even sent a text of approximate arrival time. We never had to question how to operate our unit because he went slow & asked if we had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend the Quiet Cool... and Anthony (for installation)...as I can't comment on any other technician.
