De Bonte Wever Review

Everything very neat, excellent food, friendly staff and live music every night. Really enjoyed it together with my wife.

Restaurant is very slow and unfriendly. Not a word came out except how much I had to pay.

Is listed as 4 stars but may not even bear the predicate 3 stars in my opinion. What a drama this hotel. The breakfast is really very bad, the dinner is mediocre and the organization is virtuous from no side. You pay an outrageous amount for an all inclusive stay but you don't get anything for it. I advise against this everyone. Mass production is the creed here. Service does not exist. Some staff members are downright rude. Guests are a product here. You won't even find something as simple as a bottle of shower gel in the room. And the staff completely agree with us.
It is that the environment here is beautiful, otherwise we would have left immediately.

Quite a disappointment. Expected more. The food was mediocre. Often cold and soggy. A nice swimming pool but during the day most crowded with all external guests.
Staff didn't really feel like it either. With questions you were sent from one to the other and when we reported that the bed was broken they asked if we could sleep on it one night and they would replace it afterwards. (bed was no longer possible to lie on).
Also wanted to use the facilities but to reserve for bowling we had to wait three days until there was room.
Worse, go differently next time.

Nice animal park. Fun for young and old. Many animals to see.

The sandwiches with the hamburger are still really really rancid and tough

After some negative reactions we were afraid what we would find, but it is a super nice hotel. Lots to do, good food and nice room!
There are various gaming machines for the children, swimming pool, mini golf, a hall with bouncy castles and games, entertainment and so on.
Breakfast is half buffet, only the warm dishes can be ordered from the menu and delivered. You can take the sandwiches, fillings and drinks yourself.
At lunch you can order hot dishes and grab sandwiches, drinks and soup yourself.
In the evening you can get your own soup, drink and desserts, you can choose the warm dishes and be brought.
For the swimming pool you can choose from blocks of approximately 2 to 3 hours.
In the morning you can grab pastries, in the afternoon there are snacks and in the evening small snacks and trays with sausage and cheese, etc.
Now and then you have to wait before drinking, but usually you will be helped that way. Service is very nice and room is cleaned well!
In short, for the price you pay, it is a great holiday.

we have only been in the pool. and it is a nice swimming pool for small children. friendly staff.

I was allowed to stay here for 4 days and enjoyed the care. Nice spacious and fresh room with a wonderful bed, it was a nice place ..... Asked for extra pillows no problem Since I have a physical disability, there were side supports in the toilet and a shower chair in the walk-in shower where I could sit safely.
I can really recommend De Bonte Wever also for people with a disability.

The people in the reception were more than friendly and helpful.

The food was fresh and tasty, there was a wide choice and variety
All sails were also set in the kitchen to please the guests and the wait staff always had a kind word. The different spaces were well visited and the hot tub of the pool did me good. I had booked for 1 person and that is going well in the Bonte Wever. You can be there on your own if you wish, but you can also easily have a chat that goes through the layout of the common spaces as a matter of course.

What I found not so special was the coldness of the terraces outside, but maybe that will come ???

A nice all-in hotel with a lot of facilities. Especially indoor. You don't have to be here for outdoor activities.

Beautiful subtropical swimming paradise. You can also enjoy bowling, ice skating, fitness and dining in the Piri Piri steakhouse.

Great location for a training day. Different rooms used close together. Enough space. Catering was great!

Really friendly family hotel. Perfect for the Assen TT circuit.

Very nice hotel with many facilities such as a swimming pool, indoor playground and bowling center. Food is good and extensive. Hotel is very pricey and I find the surcharge for an un sleepy bed very strange.

If you like mass entertainment you are in the right place. otherwise there are places in Drenthe where you can relax.

I can only recommend. For big and small. It does not get better all in. Swimming pool, bowling, gym everything available. Super friendly staff and the buffet great.

Very nice pool. And a good deal with dinner. We had a good time. To be repeated.

It is a real waste of the savings on the herbal baths and the water is very cold. Not recommended in cool times of the year!

Everything is fine for the pool! We with the swimming club have the competition pool small and large. Occasionally the showers are cold and sometimes very hot. Dressing rooms are fine and the lockers too.

In the after season, especially many older guests (60+)

It is advisable everything is very well cared for including culinary and friendly staff.

Went to the swimming pool. Prices are very reasonable, drinks are refillable and free . Very clean swimming pool. Choices in snacks / food could be improved though

Fine, cozy, but everything you need! From a slide in a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool to even a bowling alley. There is always something to do in the Bonte Wever

Beautiful location, perfect rooms, super breakfast and the evening buffet is delicious!

Pleasant and uncomplicated hotel with courteous staff. Numerous recreational opportunities from billiards to darts, bowling to fitness, swimming ... and and and ...

Little space near the entrance for a taxi bus. Bumpy entrance not wheelchair friendly.

In itself a good hotel out of season because then it is not that busy. But some points can still be improved, such as more variation at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Lots to do, different places to sit, both inside and out.

Since Tuesday here. Good service you will be helped quickly with check-in. Breakfast plenty of choices. Lunch also very good and dinner every day in the evening different choices when eating. Everything is included in the price if you have all inclusive. Hotel room is done every day. Although it is gutter you do not notice much of it. Nice swimming pool. Sauna also neat.

Downside:
- the water temperature of the subtropical swimming paradise was really too cool. I estimate 26-28. Competition pool temperature. This is already indicated at the reception, but that does not make it any less bad. The only warm baths are herbal bath and paddling pool. Unfortunately!

Although the climbing room was still closed, they opened it half an hour earlier because the children were already waiting.

Plenty to do, too bad that the hotel rooms do not have a balcony, otherwise highly recommended.

A great location for a good pop concert. The acoustics are good, the ventilation is great and the hospitality industry is fast. Parking is good and close. After the concert you are quickly on your way again.

Had a good time ... but too massive for us !! Also very noisy corridors. Especially the "sagging" all inclusive guests were very noisy. Therefore often awake at night. You will no longer see us there!
