Staff seemed rushed and had little regard for the new guests (understaffed ??) When we asked if we could order, we should wait ... After waiting (no one came) we walked away to another terrace.

Meat okay, only fries, no vegetables, small tub of salad. Very good, but too much soup beforehand. Staff friendly, but is right on your neck when you come in.

I ate here with my friend. I ordered the chicken nachos and he the rump steak. Overall, very satisfied! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and the decoration in the restaurant is attractive and cozy. Staff were friendly and the menu quite extensive and available in 3 languages. I think this restaurant is suitable for families as well as couples and the like.

Cozy restaurant to sit outside, good service and good food.

Had my first date here with my husband 9 years later we came back here with our kids.

The restaurant was completely full and despite that and only 2 nice friendly ladies did the service everything went smoothly and faultlessly. Hard working ladies. My compliments. Price / quality ratio of the food is also great. Highly recommended!

A restaurant by many, compared to many other restaurants on the Dutch coast, the prices here are still normal. Highly recommended was the very fresh and crispy salad with chicken and fruit. Very appealing and very tasty. The tomato soup also receives an excellent. The pork schnitzel, on the other hand, was not worth the money. The service was fix and superficially friendly.

Not as good as 5 years ago, most of the service is very stiff except for a few. The chicken had flown over the bun, found 2 pieces, service indicated this is normally very unfortunate because it was so terribly tasty and with a lot of head, now especially sauce very unfortunate.

Had a good meal, despite a large event in the city not having to wait long for our food, also more than enough. Nice place for an easy bite.

Were not served. Despite being asked, the waiter passed us several times. After about 20 minutes we got up and left.

Simple card and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the medium rare steak turned out to be fully cooked. Sent back and got a new one which unfortunately was so raw that the inside was still cold. The solution that was offered was to throw the steak on the grill after clearing the tables. I thank you for this.

We wanted to order food but were briefly told that it was not possible. To our surprise we saw other people order and receive food.

Waitresses often asked if it tasted and were very nice to us the steak was very tender not too hard and my nacho todos was very tasty nicely made

After 10 minutes of waiting no order was taken yet, people who came after us had the order taken. Then walked into the store to place an order. A very arrogant employee bit me to order outside. But that was precisely the problem. Very customer unfriendly and the last time we have been here.

Cozy casual eatery. I chose the Bengelse Fish Salad. However, there is plenty of choice on the menu, including a children's menu.

If I stay in Alkmaar for several days for work, I usually eat here.
The food is excellent (delicious dishes from the grill) and competitively priced. My experiences with the staff are also good. I usually use the weekly menu, so I can eat delicious 2-courses for a good price.

Very good price / performance ratio. Kitchen is top and fast. Primarily younger clientele.

I had a lovely dinner here with my daughters. The price / quality ratio is just right. The food was perfect. Compliments to the cook. But the staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. A whole group of ladies came in, but they continued to pay attention to us. We will definitely come back here.
