Any filmmaker that lives and operates in New York City would be doing themselves a great disservice by not coming to DCTV. They provide filmmakers with great screenings, panels, studio space, a fantastic youth program and they're the only rental house in the city that does not require insurance. DCTV has helped me tremendously throughout the years and it's a mecca for independent film and media makers.
This is an absolute gem in New York City. It is an excellent resource for aspiring and existing visual arts professionals. They have great workshops, facilities and the latest equipment for use and rental for members. They offer courses and much lower rates and higher quality than other venues in the city.
This is not a good source for classes I watched a video of this lady Sherrod and it look false.
The worst place to get any course. I took one, paid $400 and our instructor could not even make the DVD player work. MNN is much better and free!
Love the place. I was here for production week. It was a great experience. The equipment available was suitable for first-timers to learn on. Definitely taking other classes here when I have time.
Its a wonderful place the gave me a career when I didnt have one. The staffs, workers and students are awesome its a good place when I'm in I feel like its my home.
