Not the worse company to work for but also not the best. Make sure you ask many current and past drivers the real deal about Davis Express before deciding to get hired on. Might I also add the five star reviews are from there favorites with the company. Ask ask ask other drivers about the company.
This company was the worst company I have ever worked for. They will micromanage every part of your day. They will tell you when to and where to stop and eat. They don't want you to park at a truck stop. Instead they want you to park at one of their terminals. The shower's are all nasty inside. Make sure you have a pair of flip flops to put on your feet in the shower's. And God forbid you stop and try to get a good meal at a truck stop. When looking for a driving job. Just say no.
Working here at Davis Express has been a great experience from the start. I have been here a little over two years and it just keeps getting better. This company treats their drivers very well. You can't go wrong working here.

Owner was very rude to myself upon leaving the company. I walked off the property and he came at me and told me I could not stand on the side of the road. I guess he thinks since he has money he can say whatever he wants. Quoted by Jimmy Davis himself "I'm not trying to be an ASS but you can't stand on the side of the road. " Who wants to work for someone like this? They are not military friendly and will give you a hard time when you have to serve your country. WHAT A SHAME!
