I bought a TV LG OLED 55" from DJ as the sales person gave me the best price. Delivery and installation were arranged for no extra cost. The sales person was polite and helpful. So far so good! The TV was delivered, however, it was the wrong one. I was sold an older model not the one I bought. DJ apologised and following a number of phone calls informing me I would not pay extra for their mistake I had to pay an extra $204. I was also sent an invoice to delivery and installation for $275 but I was told to ignore it. Again delivery was arranged, however, I was informed the morning I stayed home that due to miscommunication? ?with the warehouse the TV would not be delivered. Lots of apologies followed and I was offered by a manager 20% off my next purchase of fashion item as a compensation!!! I'm still waiting for my TV.
I don't know what is happening to DJ"s customer service or for that matter other department stores but it does explain why customers are leaving by droves.
First trip into Westfield Bondi Junction for some last minute Christmas shopping and entered through the David Jones basement. It was like walking into one of the boutique emporiums you see in the American Christmas movies. Absolutely beautiful store, stunningly and tastefully decorated. Great selection of food goods and edible gifts. Was surprised to see its own butcher shop and fish monger kiosk. Vibrant and popular Cafe/restaurant in the heart of the store. Didn't spend any time in the rest of the many David Jones levels, but recommended the trip for the basement alone.

I also loved my appointment with the stylist in ladies fashion for my daughters wedding. I will thank her personally when I am in Sydney next !!
The service of the kitchen is a disaster. Bakery is good.
Disappointing. Staff who are renowned for having a poor attitude and the range of products is good either. The food hall used to be amazing years ago but that s no longer the case.
Terrible customer service and staff are unwilling to help. They are more interested in talking to each other than helping customers.

I have never been to the David Jones Food Hall. What an amazing experience and place to visit and have something to eat and shop around. There blackberry cake was moist and not too sweet but they need a barista for their coffees. My Piccolo was burnt.

What happened to me - I came to grab a coffee around 6.10pm and staff told me that they are already closing ( closing time was 7pm). Like really? Disappointed.. There is no manager?
Firstly, I visited CBD store to buy an iPhone xs max but the staff told me there's no way to find 256gb in our stores. 30 minutes later, I bought it in this store and the guy who sold it to me was really humble and supportive. There's a big difference between two staffs while one didn't hesitate himself even to check availability, the other recommended me better options. Thank you Bondi Junction David Jones.
Expensive, but good brands and old fashioned service

Went to buy food. Service was appalling! tried to be as clear as possible with the meal got attitude and wrong order.
Great children's and baby clothes section. There's also a great baby change room near the kids toys, which is nice and private.
Great service -sampled cheese & fruit gel on crackers too.
