I bought a TV LG OLED 55" from DJ as the sales person gave me the best price. Delivery and installation were arranged for no extra cost. The sales person was polite and helpful. So far so good! The TV was delivered, however, it was the wrong one. I was sold an older model not the one I bought. DJ apologised and following a number of phone calls informing me I would not pay extra for their mistake I had to pay an extra $204. I was also sent an invoice to delivery and installation for $275 but I was told to ignore it. Again delivery was arranged, however, I was informed the morning I stayed home that due to miscommunication? ?with the warehouse the TV would not be delivered. Lots of apologies followed and I was offered by a manager 20% off my next purchase of fashion item as a compensation!!! I'm still waiting for my TV.
I don't know what is happening to DJ"s customer service or for that matter other department stores but it does explain why customers are leaving by droves.
