The first product we purchased from DAS was from their Astatic subsidiary, a PDC7 SWR Meter. It worked great! Affordable, and helped us fine tune our Firestik FSII four foot tunable antenna with great results.
The second product was a nine foot long Astatic RG-8X coaxial cable with PL-259 ends. Actually, we were having radio issues and went to a DB shop for help...
After testing a few other things, their tech brought out the RG-8X cable to see if it would be better than the RG-58A/U cable we were using, and it made all the difference in the world.
We are back to free, clean airwaves again. Tech diagnosed the other cable as having gone bad, and this Astatic cable brought our radio back to life.
