I dont know why people have said in previous comments that they dont get good miles or pay but im constantly moving and always have great pay i am an o/o and been here for 2 years now and i have nothing bad to say about this company! To the others who are complaining about it you have to want to run and not be a baby about the loads you get.

idiots that dont make money dont want to work i rarely sit unless i want to far as staff they could have better ones but thats all company's they got miles and money if your not a lazy ass

I currently work for this company as a Truck driver. Since employment intiated with Dart, I've had difficulties getting home on time. I have been forced to remain on the road away from my family and livihood to accomodate the Dart's transportation demands. Also, recently, I received a letter from this company which indicates that they deemed an incident which occurred at acustomer, wherein I had been involved, as a preventable accident. Wherein, I only entered an incorrect entrance because, the customer location is rural and it was after 11:00 pm which contributed to the poor visibility of the company's entrance and the entrance sigbs are too low to the ground which makes it nearly impossible for a driver in a huge truck, which is highly elevated, to notice the such signs. I have been with this company close to two years absent any other problems.

Love dart but your corporate HQ is an embarrassment you can do better than that .

I ran out of windshield washer fluid today on 494 making visibility horrible. I pulled off at the next exit to find the only 'gas station' at Dart. It appeared to be a commercial station. I went in and asked to buy windshield washer fluid. The attendant brought me a gallon and said, "We don't charge for windshield washer fluid.". I can't say enough how thankful I was to receive the fluid and be on our way. Amazing service! Thank you Dart!

Dart is a good company and they hire good ethical people. Opportunities for the extra money there if you work for it.

I leased a truck a truck from Dart worst mistake ever...turned my truck in 03/21/19 as expected they have a high turn over ratio part of the reason was their inability to get me enough freight to support the lease slowly the truck ate away at my savings account i was told i live in a dead zone Memphis TN is freight central except for Dart then their was the safety nazis that swore to god they could drive my truck in any weather condition..You don't have to live in the truck to support the lease.
I went from 5 days $600 a week
To 4 weeks out and maybe $1200.00 for the entire month..
I do not recommend Dart..especially if you're trying to make money..

I work here for the moment but from what I'm reading between the lines today will be my last day because I don't want to do a dedicated account that you have to hand unload & you only get $20 a stop that includes the the unloading pay but that doesn't start till you've been on the account for 2 weeks then they'll start paying that but till then you get milieu only

Most loads are dispatch late making you late and they will not pay detention if you are late even if it's there fault. The owner operator pay is at the bottom of the industry. Company drivers are at the low end of the industry pay and the health insurance is a joke. You will do a lot of sitting in docking bays and lines for most of there big accounts like proctor and Gamble. 75 present of loads are heavy.

Great company. If you do a good job for them and aren't a dishonest goofball, they will take care of you if hard times should befall you. They also pay their company drivers a guaranteed wage, and treat their contractors well.

I am in my 4th year of Lease with the Company. First 4-6 months where rough, I was dispatched out of Lancaster terminal and on OTR fleet. During that time, I had issues with not getting enough loads/miles, issues with communication, especially with answers concerning the loads and or where to find empty trailers.
After I contacted Corporate Office, and complained and was able to proof that I was not treated well, I was moved to a dedicated account and I am now Dispatched out of Eagan, MN. Mileage have improved and loads have better info.

However, communication, especially 2nd and 3rd shift is a waste of your time. In most cases, if you get an answer, all they tell you to do is talk to your FM in the morning.

AN EXTREMELY UNETHICAL COMPANY. Run by bullies. NEVER LEASE anything from them. They cheated the city out of thousands and do the same with other partners. There is a reason their buildings are half empty. They are a multi-billion dollar business that cares nothing about the people they use and run over for another dime. heed my warning.

I worked for Dart in 2015 & had a 2015 Cascadia..Ride Like. A Boss.. At least 10years Cause you will Never Own the Truck. Truth Be Told Safety Runs your Truck...& they let you know it after about 6 months in. Example they (Safety) will & can shut your Truck down for any Reason.. Don't care where you are. Just talk to the Next Dart Driver at a truck stop and see how he or she feels.oh....& if Roger Smith is there Do Not Have Him For Your DM. He knows i was 1 of his Hardest Runners.. Numbers Don't Lie.

I been here 4 months if you like to beg for loads beg for detention lay over pay and break down pay this is job for you. If you like to sit in truck stops for days at a time or sit for hours after each delivery waiting for a load this is job for you. Company has good Benifits and pay is good they just need load planners who know what their doing. The ones they got don't care about you or care if you make money they get paid by the hour. And I am talking about the dartCo division runs super south and southeast.

They trying to keep 7thousand in maintenance fund said I'm will not get any back at all. Because that's the way it goes highway sales said but demanded me to bring truck 365 mi ..on my own fuel money how is this right any body knows

I like it here plan on staying finnaly found a company that knows how to treat a driver should have hired me long time ago a company that actually want us to drive safe

Dart Transit Detests Drivers... Drivers are consistently hung up on by Lazy Fleet Managers , Transferred to dead lines or a message inbox with never a return call, mocked by support staff , and manipulated by incompetent Planners when they Remove Loads that in turn negatively impacts the secret grading percentage that Dart uses to retaliate against Drivers that turn down a load (Suppose to be No Force Dispatch)... The equipment in the tractors is Unstable and forces Drivers into DOT Violation constantly. Dart refuses to accept any responsibility for the position Drivers are forced into.

The Fleet Managers are a JOKE. Most Fleet Managers work from their home. The number of times my worthless Fleet Manager answered the phone from her bathroom was staggering. I stopped calling. The less I talked to Dart, the easier it was to work in Peace.

The Recruiters LIE LIE LIE. What is offered in writing will change completely within the three day orientation class.

The Dart Shops are equally worthless. Its always a two day waiting period on a simple repair. I drove with a broken driver side door the whole time I drove at Dart.

Don t believe Dart s advertisement of Miles . You will fight for 1800 miles in a week. Dart has lost many accounts (i.e. Purina, P&G, Target, to name a few)...

Driver Beware... Owner Operators beware of Fleet Managers that screw you out of Detention Pay, Send you for a Live Load that doesn t exist, screw you out of Home Time, Can careless about any doctor appts you might have... Dart Hates Drivers

The Operations Mgr has the IQ of a HoHo. There is no point in reasoning with someone that is Deaf to the Driver s genuine concerns. You will be talking to hear yourself talk. Dart Is Worthless

I just quite the company and had a pet policy but my pet stopped riding with me a few months ago but since I didn't stay long enough to pay the total amount of the pet policy they took the remaining balance out of my last check that is something they dont tell you in orientation had to give them one star just to right this had trouble with my pay the last month I was there and they never did get it right

Drivers that don't make money here must be to picky about the loads they will haul! I grossed $169700 last year and am on pace to gross $149000 this year and that's only because I have been taking more home time than I did last year. I get plentyof miles and very rarely sit waiting for a load!

I've been with Dart for a while. To be honest I've worked for 2 other companies in my 17 years of doing this dart is my 3rd and final. I have had and still have great experiences with Dart. My fleet manager is the one and only Grady Clark out of Dallas. Let me tell you this man right here is awesome. If I tell him I'm going home he gets me there, if I tell him I need a load he gets me 3, if I tell him I'm having family issues, he calls and asked if he can help. I'm telling you these people at Dart treat you right, like family. Then you have Mohammed, this dude right here, man I don't even know what to say! For me Mohammed is amazing, he takes care of us, he has our backs when things aren't right, he battles for us if he needs to, he don't let us get screwed! Look I could set here and write a message about everyone at dart most would be amazing and if course a few not so much, but you have bad in all companies. I promise you there is way more good in Dart than there is bad! Thank you Dart you have held up to your promise, to me. Family us first and you've shown me that over and over again! Thank You

excellent company to work with. everythig is a win ,win situation. they take the time to listen to you, because it is your business that youre trying to operate. I was in fl and bought tickets on a cruise ship, told my fleet mgr and he kept me in fl all week running mty trls to and from ft lauderdale from macon ga. they make sure you get home especially chiristmas and durring the year,. i ve been with them 9 years and i feel that i weil join others who have been there 20 years. i tghought us xpress was good , but these guys are 10 time better

Been here for a little over a year! Been rocky just about the whole time.. assigned a truck that was a former lease/purchase and it smelled like piss the Lancaster yard did absolutely nothing about it but recommend Lysol. The dispatch personnel are all garbage they wanna blame you for late dispatches and hold you accountable for everything but never wanna take responsibility for anything! I m disgusted even writing all of this bottom line.. you re better off finding a different company unless you want you time wasted by these jerks!!!

No miles sitting consistent is quarantee this is not company for o/o but for steering wheel holders company has no idea how to keep up with actual drivers also pathetic when steering wheel holder think 2800 miles is a good week good luck same as any other big company

A lot of heavy loads and weekend dispatch is the biggest issue for me.

I liked when they had the lease purchase program to where your first 30 days were free only thing you pay were fuel. This company made life complicated for me lying dispatch who dont keep it real with you

A family owned trucking company that actually cares about their drivers! Everyone is friendly and helpful. They have very nice facilities and are on point with pickups and deliveries!

I was on a dedicated route, then bam. My zip code wasn't within Lima, OH or Shippensburg, PA.
Darts Loss.

I've been with this company for 4 months now and im loving it. Very fair company that understands family is important. I'm home every 5 to 6 days and still pushing 2400 to 3000 miles a week.

I can say one of the biggest TRASH company in USA. if you lease their truck its mean you will be new slave for them. If you are owner they will give you leftover loads after company drivers got good one. they dont care if you stuck or not. If you are immigrant dont even stop by because this company Racist in every spot.

I started in mid August as a lease purchase driver, dispatched out of Ellenwood, , I rarely deliver a load without already having at least 1 more lined up, most of my loads should pay a little better and it s hard to get a load home to Florida, but I ve been driving for over ten years and Dart is better than most, every company has issues, I plan on sticking around and making it work for me.
