Can't find who runs this place, and they don't understand how a calendar works. They can't seem to continue new books at the same date or close to where the previous book ended! Not smart. Buy a different brand!

Disappointing.

Disappointing.

While their coin albums look nice and do a passable job protecting coins, the albums get out of date, in some cases by over a decade.

Adding to my frustration is the reclusive nature of the company. From what I can tell, they have no corporate web presence. A street address and telephone number is it.

Take their United States Type album. It has obviously not been updated since 2003, having no provision for the "Westward" Jefferson Nickels, "Return to Monticello" Jefferson Nickels, or any of the post-2009 Lincoln Cents. Furthermore, the Gold Type page is impossible to locate.

The Type Collection album is where a company like Dansco could really shine. While it takes no creativity to build an album for, say, Lincoln Memorial Cents, you simply add a spot for each coin from 1959 to 2008. The Type Collection album requires research and some pride. Two things that I'm just not seeing with Dansco. Apart from no issues after 2003, there are plenty of types that have been overlooked. For example, Kennedy Halves. There should be separate places for silver clad (1965-1970) and copper-nickel clad (1971-date). A separate place for the 1921 high relief Peace Dollar would also be a welcome addition.

I consider Dansco's coin albums to be the best of a mediocre lot.

I don't know who runs the show at this company, but they should be fired. It is a constant struggle to get new coin albums or updated pages from distributors of their Dansco Coin Albums. I am actually considering finding a better company that produces quality albums who can keep up with the pace of the minting of US coins and supplying updated pages in a timely manner. It seems obvious that whoever is presently in charge of production or management doesn't have a clue about coin collectors or collecting coins.
