Great little black box theater, until the air conditioning broke. I have been a few times for various shows and love a recent one called J/K Caberet (outstanding performances!), but the air conditioning was dead and it was August! It was nearly unbearable. I had a hand fan and a cold water bottle. Then they sold out of cold water and only had room temp. Blegh! I hope they can get that AC fixed, I would love to see another show.

Just saw the holiday show, " Making God Laugh." Beautifully staged and acted, terrific set, and just the right combination of sassy and sentimental. You will enjoy this show, don't miss it.

This is a small theater but there is nothing small about the talent and plays they put together. Each time I go to city lights theater company I feel inspired, moved, and I can't wait to come back.

Just saw Eurydice at CLT. Brilliant. Superb cast, made doubly superb by the actors using spoken words and those using sign language. Haunting, timeless myth, brought beautifully to life. See this!

Saw "Rocky Horror" on Saturday night at City Lights. We all loved it! Very fun and a spectacular vision of the show, everyone was having a great time. Highly recommend it to any Rocky Horror fans or someone who is looking for a great place to see an "edgy" musical (warning : it's not "My Fair Lady"!). We took some business associates and they loved it. Exciting, well choreographed, acted and the music was so fun (left singing "Let's do the Time Warp....". Well done City Lights!
