We have been dining at Daniel's for several years. Never have we had a bad meal. The service is never rushed and the staff is attentive. The food is delicious.

Went to the Bistro with some high school friends for Restaurant week. We all choose from the special menu for restaurant week. The food was excellent in taste and presentation. The mussels appetizer was very good. We all ordered different items for the main course. The scallops with crab risotto was very nicely done and one of us had the NY Strip sirloin which she enjoyed very much. The chocolate mousse desert was excellent. Definitely going back in the future. The staff was great too. Nice job Chef !

Just had dinner at Daniels bistro in point pleasant. Have eaten here before and always had a good meal. This was true again. The reason for this review is not just for the food. Which was delicious . It is to compliment my server, Kelly. She was friendly, informative and absolutely made my meal a wonderful experience.

8 years later and still the best meal and service I've had anywhere (NY, SF, you name it). Next time I am in NJ I will be sure to visit.

Good food and friendly service. This is a BYOB so be prepared. My wife had the Ahi Tuna Tower and Crabcakes and very much enjoyed it. I had the pork loin and it was very good. Their tomato soup is delicious. The creme brulee was excellent and I reccomend to anyone. Racheal is a great waitress.

My wife and I and my parents went here for restaurant week. Wow this place continues to impress. Our waiter Matty was top notch. He was very polite, professional and has a good understanding of the menu and dishes. Our food was unbelievable all around. I highly recommend the braised escargot. The bruschetta that is served with the delicious tomato soup tastes so fresh it's crazy. I had the Berkshire pork as my entree and it exceeded every expectation I had. Finished my meal off with some great strawberry ice cream. This place is a must try.

We live near an area that has many great restaurants to choose from and being on your best is the only thing that will keep you in business. Daniel's would easily fit in and holds its own.

Good service; friendly and happy. My seafood pasta was delicious and my wife's lobster was cooked perfectly. We shared a house made tiramisu with a scoop of cappuccino ice cream.

Put Daniel's Bistro on the list for your next visit. Oh! and if they have the stuffed mushroom appetizer; try it! One of the best I have had. BYOB too :-)

One of the finest dining venues at the Shore. Not a 5 star or Michelin rated, but each dish is prepared with care. Not overpriced for a BYOB. Delicious escargot. Tried several entrees and all were excellent. Try a tableside flaming dessert.

Tried Daniel's Bistro on a whim and absolutely lucked out! Someone canceled their reservation just as we walked in and we could not have been more pleased. The ambiance and service we excellent. The staff works well together to make sure everyone is well cared for. Our food was delicious. Started with the tomato/ Buffalo burratta tower and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious and served appropriately on chilled plates. Then to our delightful surprise, we were served a small sampling of the chef's soup de jour with a bruschetta crostini. Fabulous! What a nice touch. Our entrees took some time, which I actually appreciated; it has been some time since I was not made to feel rushed through my meal! I enjoyed the time with my spouse and was kept happy with some crusty bread and butter. My stuffed pork chop was quite possibly the best pork chop I ever had and was husband was just as happy with his duck breast entree. We finished with the bananas foster, cuz why not?! Yummy! Just when I thought the meal could not get any better they surprised us again with a sampling of the chef's choice dessert- fudge walnut brownies that were to die for! This restaurant is my new favorite. I cannot remember the last time I was made to feel as appreciated as a restaurant customer. Those small samples and the very attentive staff went above and beyond. The owners of this restaurant are spot-on with understanding how to appeal in ways that I have not experienced anywhere in a very long time. To top it off... it is a BYOB! We will be back again soon with friends!

This place has the freshest seafood. I had the Jumbo Lump crabcakes for an appetizer; which was PERFECTION as well as the Zuppa di Pesce also perfection! Our server Lauren was well versed on all the specials for that day and made the experience memorable especially for a foodie. Karen who greeted us on our entry as well as our exit was also divine and hospitable! This place is a BYOB which is also pretty cool as well . I will definitely be back when im in Point Pleasant NJ.

A beautiful experience. Authentic as can be. Fois gras was exceptional! The duck cooked to perfection (medium rare).

We will never go back!!! The owner is sooooo RUDE!!!!!!!! The meal came out and it was not as described, waitress kindly took order back to kitchen. The owner then came to table and told us we are "sadly mistaken" then walked away and brought the side dish of risotto back and said "you should just eat this cause it's going to be thrown away". REALLY!!!!!! She expects this this to be eaten after it was brought back!!! The table of 4 next to us saw the whole thing and talked to us on our way out and they were shocked to see her behavior. It blows my mind how she can stay in business with that attitude!!!!!

I have eaten here on multiple occasions over the past 4 years. The food here is fantastic every visit. I highly recommend the steak entrees! The service is top notch and the owner / hostess is super friendly and accommodating!

My "prime 32 OZ porterhouse" was good but it was definitely closer to 20 legitimate OZ. My wife had ossobuco with risotto and it was super salty. She told our server it was salty and requested more risotto to soak up the salt. Turns out the risotto was the salty item...no manager table touch at any time and our server, manager or owner didn't see anything wrong with my wife not wanting to take her untouched $38.00 dinner home. We were charged in full, paid in full and will not go back. We weren't looking for a freebie....just a different dish. It was never offered. We dine out weekly and will not go back.

My first visit to this restaurant was last night. I will absolutely be going back. Our group sat outside and it was extremely comfortable with tables spaced perfect due to the covid conditions.
The food was amazing and everyone loved their dinner.
Matty was our waiter for the evening and gave us excellent service.
You will not be disappointed with this excellent dining experience.

Don t listen to the 1 star reviewers. They apparently have no taste. Pun intended. After a second visit, I am still impressed. Food is very consistent as it should be. Pricing is consistent with fine dining. The lobster tails are some of the best I ve ever had in a restaurant. Hats off to the chef. Food is outstanding.

We went again this past Tuesday and it was a great experience. The bronzino dinner special was fabulous and Alexis our server was friendly and attentive. Our friend had the cowboy ribery and it was awesome. Well done Daniel's bistro !

My wife and I have been going to Point Pleasant 2-3 times a year for over 20 years. This time around, instead of sticking to the boardwalk, we decided to venture out inland. We decided to try Daniel's Bistro, two words could describe our experience .......WOW! AMAZING. My wife ordered the Day Boat Halibut and I went with the Berkshire Double Cut Loin of Pork. Again....WOW! AMAZING! The meals were out of this world. Tastes I never knew existed.

The service was just as good as the meal. We were so happy with the experience, I believe we will become regulars every time we head to PT Pleasant.

We have a new favorite restaurant. Thank you for all your support. We place our reservation via Google which work our great. Our waitress was Rebecca was on point. Pictures below & environment was cozy. Yes we did the early bird 5p sitting, which was a nice change of pace. Yes, we are getting old, 14 yrs married, but still in love. Thank you to the staff @Daniel's Bistro.

Daniel's dishes are gourmet. I had a pork chop dish that melts in your mouth. The specials are the best. Of course it prices are high but it is a BYOB establishment.

Best place around. BYOB. Everything I've had here has always been impressive and the amuse bouche is always enoyable. Love the butter poached lobster, perfectly cooked steaks, fresh clean ingredients. Great service, I always looks forward to going to Daniels and recommend going there for a fabulous meal from start to finish.

We went with my in laws, my uncle, husband and baby. We understand that we were 20mins early but I don't think it's an excuse for not even give you an smile when they're serving you. Food was just okay but not worth the $30+ a plate. I would not recomend this place.

Fantastic restaurant everytime I've been has blown me away. The little details that they have to plate and add little flavors to your experience are fantastic. One of the best date locations in the area.

First time here last night. Fabulous. My daughter and I were excited to get out together.
We had mussels...the sauce was delectable. The delicious fresh, hot bread was so good and we had a few pieces so we could keep dipping in the sauce from the mussels.

Scallops were perfectly done and served with risotto and lump crab. Honestly, the best scallops I ve had in a while.

Will absolutely be back.

Danny's the bomb! Him and his wife Karen, Rachel, Dina and all their staff are very attentive. Danny's cu linary skills rival the best New York chefs. Food is consistently good. Ate there three nights in a row once. My go to place.

Fantastic menu and meal! Never disappointed. Need to make real espresso drinks though. Cant understand why some restaurants have bad coffe. Cheapest and most profitable thing they sell. Why spoil a meal???

Nice cozy spot. Food was delicious I had there special for the night with a pork chop topped with deliciousness. They have a little bit of everything on the menu it would be hard for you not to pick something no matter how picky you are. Dessert menu was very good also. It was my gf birthday I would definitely go again.

The food is awesome! Not a bad item on the menu. Even though you are restricted to outside dining for the Coronavirus outbreak, the experience is like no other. The waist staff is very attentive and would definitely go back again and again.

Spectacular hidden gem!! Had great oysters, fresh soft shell crab, NY Strip and Duck Breast ... All prepared perfectly and delicious. Very NY meal.

Once again, everything was delicious! This has been my umpteenth visit, and I have never been disappointed. You must have the Ahi Tuna tower appetizer, you can't go wrong with the rest of the menu. Bon Appetit!

First experienced Daniel s Bistro during Point Pleasant s Restaurant Week. The quality of service and the food were excellent! Although we stuck to the reasonably priced special menu, we were treated as if we had ordered the highest priced items on the menu. Can t wait to go back!

After finally obtaining a reservation I must say that I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I should have known by the receptionists poor attitude on the phone that I should have gone elsewhere.
To begin with even though there were many unoccupied tables, we were seated at a table that was right in the path of all of the servers.
The food was okay, but not worthy of the prices charged. To pay $ 30 for 4 scallops with risotto is astronomical. The Filet Mignon, although flavorful, was very small . The potato choice was garlic mashed , French Fries were not available.
If you are in the area and want a fine restaurant and a wonderful dining experience try the Poached Pear in downtown Pt Pleasant.

From walking into the restaurant, the atmosphere was inviting and friendly. The duck meatballs were very good, the NY strip steak cooked perfectly. The veal chop was amazing too, but the seafood special of barrondido was awesome!

Did not make it past the front door. The owner of this restaurant had such a bad addatude. 5 minutes late for our reservation before anyone even acknowledged us .Then i asked 25minutes later if they had a table available ...the owner said we were 5 minutes late would I like to stand here and fight with her....needless to say we left and will never go back ther.

Service was excellent. Waitress Jackie was very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. I had Gulf Shrimp entree About 6-7 largr shrimp. My husband had the Osso Buco a small veal shank that was so flavorful and tender. We shared the Ahi Tuna tower as an App. Its BYOB so thats really nice. I would suggest calling ahead to see if a reservation is needed.

I really wish i wasn't this disappointed. Ive heard great things so we wanted to try. I rather have laid back service than a restaurant attempt high end service and fail. (I work in a 3 Michelin star restaurant so i might or might not know a thing or two about food and service). It's cute that they start with an amuse bouche but the server just dropped them at the table and left. Didn't bother explaining what it was ( some type of tomato bisque with a crostini and bruschetta topped with a sad piece of oily parmesan). Next we had a bottle of sparkling water, when the glasses were low on water we were refilled with regular tap on top. Not that big of a deal, but still a careless mistake. Appetizers came out i had "crab cakes" that were two teeny tiny crab cakes that were mushed up crab meat and on the plate two halves of a red and yellow cherry tomato. Mind you the menu states "COLOSSAL crabmeat with GRILLED HEIRLOOM tomatoes" the tomatoes definitely were nowhere near grilled nor seasoned and two halves of a cherry tomato is just sad. The tuna tar tar is another disappointment the red bell pepper and crazy salty soy sauce overwhelmed the tuna completely. The only good app we tried were the duck meatballs. When our app plates were being cleared ( i am assuming they follow the rule that they clear everyone's empty plates at once) our friend was not finished eating. Instead of clearing the other plates quietly and coming back after the last bite the girl apologized a few times and stood there for a moment making it a little awkward and very obvious she had just made a mistake although no one would have noticed if she had just walked away. Being set up with dinner cutlery my fork and knife were on the wrong sides (again no big deal but everyone else's were correct another carless mistake) and then everyone liked there dinner (only reason this post is getting two stars instead of one) except (of course) me. (We made a quick joke that the restaurant gods were out to get me that night and moved on). I ordered the halibut, which is just such a wonderful dish and i wanted to cry (sad sad tears ) when i tasted my dish. The fish was so overcooked it was a sin. Drenched in some sort of overwhelmingly lemony marsala wine sauce. The risotto tasted like biting into a parmesan cheese wheel and the mushrooms on top were so inedible that even when my bf had a taste he cringed because they were so sour from the lemon juice. My bf enjoyed his steak (i ate half) and our friends enjoyed the tender lobster tails and the duck. When we were being cleared i had my plate sitting at the edge of the table for the better part of dinner, the waitress asked if i wanted my fish wrapped without noticing that i barely ate any of it at all and didn't ask if i hadn't liked my dish ( i clearly could not have been full from two quarter sized "crab cakes") . Dessert was nothing to talk about so so cheesecake and bananas foster made table side was good. My cappuccino was so terrible it was topped with an extremely dense foam that i was not able to stomach opting for plain coffee and my friend received just warm coffee herself. Needless to say we wont be coming back.

This place sucks. Went there for restaurant week and got an entree consisting of 3 scallops, 2 tbsp of risotto with 3 pieces of crab meat the size of my pinky nail. If this what fine dining is I'll pass.

Arrived at 6:25 for a 6:30 reservation for two. At 6:50 still waiting at front door and no sign of an open table. Very disappointed and will not return and can not recommend.

Best fillet mignon I have ever had. All the food was outstanding and the service was top notch. I will definitely be back.
