Great food and specials! This is our new go to and is better than even the best restaurants around. Their food is always fresh, great combinations of flavor, and perfectly presented.
We keep going back and keep trying different dishes and they never disappoint! Service is top notch and we always request Rachel, but the whole staff know what it takes to give everyone a great experience. I would give 10 stars if possible.

Best meal I've had in ages! Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was warm and welcoming but not pretentious. I would recommend this place to anyone! Best escargot and scallops I've ever had!

I have been here many times and have never once had anything that wasn't FANTASTIC. The scallops are some of the best I've ever tasted, generous sized, perfectly prepared. Don't let someone's mean spirited cheapness dissuade you from trying these. They are awesome. We enjoy the Ahi tuna tower and Danny is a master with seafood.
The duck meatballs are out of this world tender and flavorful, as mentioned by someone else, do try if available.
My absolute favorite entree is the Berkshire Pork Castelleto, tender (melt in your mouth), and mouth watering.
This is our go to spot " down the shore".

Food was fantastic. I love to dine, and if you want the whole experience, the is the place to be in Point Pleasant for sure. If they have the duck meatball special grab it quick! Scallops were cooked to perfection and the champagne sauce was amazing. Servers were attentive and made it more than just good food, they made it an experience

Honestly, this place does not care about their customers. I wish I could give negative stars. We had a terrible experience (with the woman owner) the last time we were there but wanted to give the restaurant another chance due to the good food and good service. My sister made a reservation at 8:15. The entire party arrived at 8:10. My sister walked into the restaurant and stood at the hostess stand for 20 minutes. Not one person greeted her throughout the time she stood there but what my sister witnessed is not appropriate for an owner to say. The owner stated to the group of people standing in front of her, Well, none of the bus boys showed up tonight so.. . Basically stating that the reason people were standing around waiting to be greeted was because the bus boys didn t show up. As an owner of a decent business, this statement and actions are unnecessary and pushes the blame on others. She s rude, unprofessional, and made the atmosphere extremely unpleasant. I have given my last attempt to this restaurant and would avoid at all costs solely based on the owner. She loses out on a lot of good customers and a lot of money due to her poor attitude.

My husband Tim and I used to come here as our special occasion place, but post-quarantine while COVID is still a concern we have been coming once a week! We live in Asbury Park with easy access to incredible restaurants, but the experience at Daniel s Bistro has felt the most normal while still feeling safe. The team has an incredible attention to detail. Most of the outdoor seating is covered with a tent so it s rain friendly. The menu feels about as full as it was prior to COVID with lots of high quality, affordable/appropriately priced options. The BYOB helps us have a much nicer meal/experience for the same price as a mediocre meal in Asbury Park. The servers are so lovely. We often have Alexis as our server who is professional and kind - we really like her... tonight we had Matty for the second time and I was BLOWN away. His attention to detail was incredible. He cleared crumbs from our table before the entree, opened our red wine even though we started with the bubbly so it could breathe, and was so kind. I can t say enough good things about Daniel s Bistro and would highly recommend it.
