The food here is so good I cannot get enough, it's vegan food and you would not be able to tell the difference between real meat and this. It is true cuisine absolutely amazing, I want to bring everyone here.

Simply the best Vegan in all of Orlando! It is the perfect match of Jamaican delicacies with the unique approach of vegan preparation that the owner and chef Jen does so brilliantly! The sandwiches, bowls, flatbreads and more are all delicious. You truly cannot go wrong with what you order. For dessert get some of her Irie Dream vegan ice cream. If you have any meat eating friends of family and you want them to try a vegan approach, I guarantee they will not be disappointed and will return for more! I also highly recommend buying a loaf of her incredible vegan homemade bread. You'll never but store bought bread again.

The best Jamaican food in Orlando. And it's all vegan. Made with loving care, from scratch, and with authentic and creative touches drawing on traditional Caribbean recipes. I've been a fan of DaJen since she started doing pop-ups, and then to her location at a gas station. Her new location is a real honest to goodness restaurant in historic Eatonville Florida. It's a homey place, where locals and local vegans come together eat. Tips, her chikn biscuits are a must-buy. Her Hoaxtail is so beefy it'd fool a carnivore. Her Identify Crisis sandwich is perfection. Her Cauliflower Bites are the bomb. The Irie Cream ice cream is delightful, my go-to is Rum Raisin The Roof. I honestly have never had a bad meal there. Hats off to DaJen too for pledging to cook oil free at this new location, to encourage healthier eating in the community. DaJen's is a must visit on the tour of Orlando's booming vegan scene.

I drive all the way from St. Cloud to eat here. Everything I have eaten here has been ridiculous delicious! Great place to bring nonvegans to try vegan food. Staff is always warm and helpful. Wish I could give it more stars.

Me and my bf love this place the staff is really amazing, Pedro , Jocelyn and josh were very helpful when it came to making a choice. They were all very knowledgeable. Which help made my experience there memorable. I really Enjoyed their jerk chicken and their grape nut ice cream! Will be coming back the next time we are in Florida !

Located in a small outdoor plaza. Once you find this place and walk in the interior is small but very nicely decorated. All of the staff is super friendly and the food was much better than I expected. Their bread is so damn good. I am sure most of the people eating here we re not vegan so anybody who says vegan food has no flavor hasn t been here yet.

I went for the vegan ice cream and inside on a table there was a sign saying they would have it September 1st. I went yesterday and they said they didn t have it. The lady said it s hard to make ice cream and the ice cream has to blend for 3 hours . I went to a creamery for Ice cream that they didn t have because it is too hard to make. Not to mention I could find it in the empty plaza with no sign outside.

It's great to know that a place like this exists for vegans and vegetarians. I was overly surprised by the taste and the quality of the chicken biscuits. OMG.... the chicken biscuits alone could give Chick Fil' A a run for their money. The irie cream is also amazing. There are many great irie cream flavors to choose from including carrot cake, peanut butter fudge, strawberry cheesecake, etc. I look forward to coming back so I can order from their dinner menu.

Updated review: I added a star since going back a couple times - the flavors are always excellent but they are still struggling with two problems; portion sizes and supply issues. Often being out of menu items can be frustrating for customers (last time I went, there was no Irie Cream). If they can address these two issues I think they can easily get to 5 stars.

I really want to like this place more, but for opening week the hours have been really all over the place and the info online is not accurate. The phone number also gave old info. I showed up last Sunday and there was no one in the building, so call before you go, and check.
I did go the grand opening week, which was fun. it was a full house, and limited menu. I had the rasta pasta, and my partner had the 'crab' cakes. Flavors were excellent, but the portions were very small. I am not sure if this was just opening week, or if this is the normal size, but it was not enough food even though we paid around $12/per entree.
I will go back after they get settled; I know it's hard to run a business and getting a groove after opening takes time. so, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I have had Jenn's food on countless occasions and I'm happy to say I have never ever been disappointed with the quality or taste. As a Jamaican, she hits all the vibrant tones expected from an authentic Jamaican meal and at times, I forget it's vegan. She has a small library sharing books on veganism so bring a book to donate next time you visit, if you can!

What a wonderful place for awesome food! Regardless of diet. (Vegan or Cornivore). One will enjoy this 100% vegan food for sure! Flavors that put smiles on faces is in everything I tasted. I had two cornivores with me that were at awe and at each taste taken.
Nice portion of food. And a lovely staff! Oh plus the desserts are delightful. And they have ICE CREAM
Next time I am here from Baltimore. I'll be stopping by the DaJen Eats Cafe to eat Jamaican inspired food. I may even more here so I can be close to this HAPPY FOOD
The only reason I give 4 stars? Always room for improvement.
Keep doing your thing DaJen Eats Cafe!!! Love y'all!!!

Dajen eats is one of the most incredible vegan restaurants I ve ever eaten at. We went for Sunday Brunch, so this is based on their brunch options- but based on how incredible it was we will absolutely be back for their lunch and dinner specials. Their Sunday Brunch menu had a few different options that all looked great, but I got the Jerk Chicken Biscuit, and my partner got the buffalo chicken biscuit. We shared the Jerk fries, and after our meal we split a double scoop of the Cookies and Cream ice cream. We were practically silent our entire meal because it was so good we didn t have words. The biscuits are crisp on the outside and appropriately soft on the inside- I couldn t believe they were vegan. The chicken was well seasoned, and flavorful. They were filling without making me feel overfilled or heavy. The fries were crispy and completely covered in a few sauces with grilled pineapple added and vegan sour cream and chives on top. After our meal we opted for the vegan l cookies and cream ice cream and I m enjoying it while writing this review. It s so creamy with a great consistency, it s light and soft. This is some of the best vegan ice cream I ve ever had. Thank you to Drew and the very friendly and helpful staff, they were all so kind and friendly. We can t wait to come back.

Refreshing to read a menu with brand new items! I have been pushed to try this vegan delight and I am sorry to have waited so long. The two of us had to order a third dish because everything sounded delicious. The buffalo cauliflower, seitan jerk chicken, and tuna salad were all a smash. Photos are unretouched. @dajeneats

First time I visited DaJen Eats, was when she was set up at a gas station- it was delicious then and it is still super delicious today. It's been so great witnessing this place expand, it is so deserved. I had the privilege of watching some food presentations held by Dajen herself at Vegfest's in the past years, and let me just tell you- the positive vibes RADIATING from this woman are beyond. It is so beautiful to see good people succeed. I hope you keep expanding and serving this community the best vegan Jamaican food and my husband and I will continue to be here for it! All of the food is delicious, but for anyone going to DaJen eats for the first time- please do yourself the favor and try the jerk chickn. It's simply the best.

I had a fantastic sandwich today called "Identity crisis" half Buffalo "chicken" and half jerk. Took care of the "I can't decide what to order" issue. I had to drive a bit to get there, but it was worth the drive

My book club met at this Black owned and operated Vegan Cafe in the historic town of Eatonville, FL. I am not a vegan but the dishes taste as though you are consuming meat! I would recommend to vegans as well as those who are not

Stop by yesterday to get dinner for my 11 year old son myself and was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the lay out of the resturant. While we waited on our order we had some of the vegan ice cream my son like real ice cream but he gobbled up his cookie and cream. Later on that night we had our rice and peas with vegan jerk, Cole slaw, grilled pineapple and we ate it up all with joy.

Every time we are in Orlando, we make sure to stop here for the most delicious vegan food. It s a little out of the way when you are visiting Disney or Universal but well worth the drive and we stock up on extra so we don t have to eat gross park food. The staff is awesome and the portions are huge. I can get 2 meals from the Pick 5 option. Who doesn t like extra Jerk chicken with the most AMAZING sauce anyway? My son loves the sweet & spicy cauliflower & buffalo cauliflower and hubby loves the brown stew & chick n patty. The Identity Crisis (half buffalo/half jerk) is pretty amazing too! And their fresh loaves of bread and hand made ice cream... YUM!!! Don t miss out on this gem!!!

Was excited to come here since I live pretty far from vegan spots, the rum raisin ice cream is just like home delicious but maybe that's why I was forgotten. Ended up waiting 40 mins for a bowl that took maybe 5 mins. Don't get me wrong the food is tasty I just wish I was paid more attention to maybe asked a question after sitting there for the first 20 minutes.

We looked forward to visiting for a while. The staff was helpful with describing the menu items. However the food was okay. I would return only to try different items in hopes that they taste better than the food we've ordered before.
