The best jerk chicken sandwich I ever had in my life!

Food is delicious. The vegan curry chicken taste better than actual curry chicken!

Nice vibes, I brought a zucchini bread and a sandwich totaling $17.00

Vegan or not if you are in the area it's worth stopping for! The jerk sandwich was so good I didn't put it down once I picked it up! Great staff! Great food!

Today was my first time coming to this spot. Customer service was wonderful food was even better. This is honestly the best vegan restaurant I ve ever ordered from...I will be a returning customer for sure. Thank you.

The food here is delicious and beautifully presented. I really enjoyed how fresh the bread was for the Identity Crisis Sammich. The fresh squeezed juice was also fantastic. We were visiting from St Petersburg and I am happy I found a new "must visit" place in Orlando. The Irie Cream was so rich and delicious.

Who knew that vegan food could taste so good? I'm usually suspicious of meat substitutes, but what they have at this place tastes fantastic! I had the "identity crisis", which is a combo of the Jerk and Buffalo sandwiches (for folks who can't decide what to have). Both halves were delicious, but the Jerk was spicier and more to my liking.
I'll definitely be heading back there soon. The only problem with this place was that it was hard to find, being inside the Citgo gas station and without external signage. It was worth the trouble to find it though!

I love the options. Rice bowl or broccoli slaw bowl. 1 protein or 2 or 3 or 4! They mark what is Soy -Free and Gluten Free. While their kitchen is not gluten free (because their homemade AMAZING bread), they can turn any sandwich into a salad. Their LOONY TUNA is so reminiscent of the tuna I used to make as a child. It's my favorite menu item.

Vegan ice cream for dessert? Yup!!

I normally wouldn't take time to do a review, however today, I have time. The pineapple ginger juice was amazing! I would advise...if you are seeking a vegan Caribbean style foods...this is NOT the place...the bowls are confusing while the food ranges from bland to extremely sweet...and NO in between...ie( Savory flavors)..it lacks the basics to be considered caribbean....herbs and spices such as:bay leaf, thyme, pimento seeds, garlic, basil, cocount milk....ground cane juice....and that's only the beginning. I would love to see thier quality of food (in taste and seasonings) match their geat taste in interior design and atmosphere. Get better..because you can do better.!

The flavor is amazing, so on point. And the staff are wonderfully.

One of the best Vegan restaurants in Orlando. If your are looking for some plant based Caribbean food with great customer service this is your spot. Their chk n biscuits are so good. My favorite is the build a bowl that is available for lunch it s a bang for your buck. Don t forget about Sunday dinner and be sure to call ahead to see what s on the menu. Their curry chk n and hoax tails are a crowd favorite.

I have been about a dozen times. Service has always been amaizing. I travel around the country for work and this is still one of my favorite spots.

Came here with my wife for the first time, had a delicious meal. Will definitely be back for some more way good eats. Andrew and Maurice behind the counter were friendly and accommodating. A strong recommendation for anyone vegan or not!!! This place is bangin!!!

This is one of the best places in Orlando to go for vegan breakfast fixes! The food is made with love and flavor in a cozy little spot. Sometimes it takes a little longer than other restaurants, but it is never due to laziness but rather their desire for consistency and carefully made items. Customer service is awesome, Drew is always welcoming and inviting and it s nice to walk in and see smiles on the staff s face.

I love this place.. Food delicious price not bad. The staff is very friendly. It is definitely a must go to. Also I found out that they have book reading once a month which is awesome along with the dinner there is a fee for it.

Great comfort food and ice cream for anyone with an adventurous palate. Their bread is out of this world!

100% vegan and so is everything thing else. 100% service, food and atmosphere. Their food is definitely something you should try at least once even if your not vegan. They personalized your food with love and treat their customers with a side of carribean service and respect. The best I've tried here is the oat curry special, so very delicious.

The food was stellar, it is an absolutely great place to go to on a lunch break; but they seemed to have problems with groups.
We were a party of four and there was a pretty large time variance between when the dishes came out, so two of us ate at the same time, and the other two ate at separate times altogether.
It did seem to pick up pretty quickly, so this may have been situational for them.

I've tried several different items off the menu here, and it seems that it doesn't go on the menu if it isn't perfect. Even if it doesn't sound like your cup of tea, trust me, it is.

Amazing Food, the staff is amazing especially when we just came with out big group, got our food quick and easy and it was soooooooooooo. delicious 10/10 would eat again. Buffalo chicken sammich is to die for.

One thing I miss about New York is all the diverse foods, Florida is sorely lackin.
However, Chef Jenn transported me back to the isle of Manhattan then to Jamaica and back to Florida with this awesome inspired Caribbean food.

So 1st when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and dem phrase "Wah Gwaan" I and I already felt right at home and Chad gave me the menu run down.
What you see before you above is the ABC lunch plate which has 3 Proteins
Jerk Chickn (outstanding Jerk Spice)
Crispy Chickn (hard to get Setian crispy but they did it with flava too!)
Buffalo cauliflower (nuff said)
Grilled Pineapple slice to balance the spicy zing
Cabbage salad
Lemon wedge atop a bed of Rice
I was so hungry everything else was so good I ate it before I could take pictures of it!
The second thing I ordered was called an identity crisis sandwich. They call it that because if you can't choose between the proteins they offer...they put 2 on one!
This sandwich was built on homemade bread sliced Texas toast sized which they then grilled to toast for the sandwich.
I inhaled it...it was a amazing.
While slobbering over Chad's shoulder watching the bread being slapped on the grill as I was ordering the sandwich I saw out of the corner of my loaves of the bread stacked in a bread case.
So I asked "do you sell those?"
Chad said "Sure you want one?"
I was all "Hell yeah!" Haha

I then wandered over to the vegan ice creamery case and a sistah with a smile said "Would you like to try anything?"
To which I replied "Ya the whole case!"
I got the chuckle I wanted.
She was sweet enough to let me try 4 flavors.
I settled on the Mango crumb something something flavor...was creamy as all get out and bangin!
Finally for me an authentic Jamaican meal isn't complete without Sorrel punch to wash it down with.

This......place.....this is the closest thing to heaven on earth

This place is an essential visit at /least/ once a week for me, despite it being twenty minutes away. You absolutely cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, seriously it s all amazing! The staff also make this place incredible and so warm and welcoming, especially Drew who consistently offers top notch customer service and is more than happy to accommodate any request! :-)

Love thos place! Black owned! The staff is cool bunch of guys. Owner is always smiling when she there.

This place is so underrated, the food is delicious!!! Like super delicious, the service is great and the environment is pleasing. You can t ask for a better place to go eat. The location is in a weird place but don t let it fool you. This cafe is a must!!! You have to try it!!!

Had some family in from out of town, and for one of our meals decided to order out from DaJen Eats. We tried the strawberry irie cream, a couple of bowls and the buffalo chick sandwich. We were all 100% satisfied! Fantastic!

We've always had a great food experience here! We cannot recommend this establishment enough.
Everything that I've tried has been wonderful. The food is extremely flavorful, cooked well and a joy to eat. The service is wonderful, as well.
I also appreciate (when I used to eat inside the restaurant) that they used real utensils and plates, so that it made me feel better that I wasn't contributing to the local landfill. I absolutely understand that it's a different situation with COVID, though.
I also am committed to spending my money intentionally and actively seek out businesses owned by women of color.

This place was simply out of this world good! We joined as part of a book club event hosting Tamara Madison, and the environment was inviting and celebratory.

Dinner started off with moutheatering journey biscuits, that were savory and tender, crab cakes, with a rich and sumptuous remoulade. This was followed by stuffed pineapple that had a mix of delicious jerk chicken, rice, and beans, along with the most amazing sauce with just the right amount of heat.

What a joy and delight to share in the celebration, and to savor this amazing meal. And as someone who lives plant-based, this was one of the best vegan dining experiences I have had in a long time. We will be back!

The sweet and sour cauliflower was amazing. They utilize wooden disposable utensils and a plant based compostable to go box.
They even had a mini library that featured vegan and African American literature.

Amazing Vegan food in an unexpected place is such an awesome surprise! I love the idea! The Identity crisis sammich is a great choice if you are undecided & want a little bit of both worlds (half buffalo, half jerk)! The irie cream is delicious and creamy that will give dairy ice cream a run for its money! Ms. Jenn is so charming & delightful that you'll feel like you're visiting an old friend I love this place, definitely worth the drive!

DaJen is absolutely amazing! It s my go to when I need a filling vegan meal. The quality of the dishes are consistent every time and customer service is on point. I usually get a bowl with all of my faves.

My husband and I went there for lunch today. I had researched the Internet for the best vegan restaurant in Orlando, fl. We were in town to celebrate my birthday. I thought I found it. It had great reviews, but I was wrong! The food was cold and flavorless. The food actually tasted old. Nothing was prepared fresh. The young man at the counter failed to take my husband s order. I should have realized that the food would be horrible when we realized we were the only customers. I will Never be back!

Food is delicious. Staff is friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. Did I mention the food is delicious ?

Got a vegan chicken sandwich and and porridge. The porridge was quite bland and I probably wouldn t order it again, the sandwich was delicious and I believe everyone should try it. Their ice cream is bomb!! The carrot cake ice cream is by far my favorite, must try!

5 stars for taste and creativity! BUT this restaurant can do better. The food is delicious (especially when it s made by the owner/chef) but the revolving staff seemed to be unmotivated. They take for ever to take an order (knowing that there is a line of people waiting), get orders wrong, and move very slowly compare to other restaurant employees. The AC could use a boost, the place could use more cleaning, and there should be more drink options (mexican coke/sprite/pepsi). Unfortunately, veganism attracts mostly hipsters as opposed to everyone else.That being said, hipsters are your bread and butter and should get some spotlight/targeted marketing. Vegan restaurants are closing down so lets grow!!!!!!

DaJen Eats is fantastic. The jerk chicken sandwich is my go-to. Besides that, the owner is such a wonderful human being. I wouldn't hesitate about going here and supporting a local business.

Authentic flavors, New World sensibility in a comfy atmosphere

The food is amazing and all vegan, DaJen eats has capture the island flavors and made them vegan. The plates are enough to share, but you probably won't want to. I love to have my leftovers for lunch the next day.
Most vegan places charge a lot and leave you feeling empty. Oh and they even have Ice cream.

Maurice and Drew were great. Me and my friend came here first thing in the morning and they were very attentive. The food was great as always. I would highly recommend. This is definitely my favorite vegan resturant in Orlando.

The irie platter is absolutely mind blowing. But then so is the hoax tail, the lasagna, the rib sandwhich... you literally cannot go wrong with this place. Absolutely one of the best plant based options in all of Florida!

There are no words that can describe this place and how good the food is. First the young men inside provided the highest level of professionalism and speed for a fresh sandwich. Next, the identity sandwich is the best I have ever had vegan or non vegan. I also had the buffalo cauliflower which was perfectly seasoned. I was about to walk out and noticed the ice cream and just looked at it. I have had Vegan ice cream before and it has alway had an after taste. Not sure how this Goddess of creamery that I met figured it out but zero after taste and better yet not to sweet. I had the rum raisin and it s better than anything you can get out of an ice cream shop. I was a fan of 4 rivers from their first day and this young lady and her team are going to do the same thing, Blow Up!!!

Love the food and am a regular customer. The food never lets me down and so freakin' good!! Jen and Drew are always so super personable, kind and amazing. Jen is the sweetest ever and beautiful. Her joy and energy is motivating. They just hired a guy named Victor and he is a great addition to the team and he works hard and gives excellent customer service!! Great food with great customer service is super important to me!!

Their food is awesome and the only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that there are lots of vegan joints in Orlando doing similar quality and giving just a bit more for your money. DaJen is very good though and a great choice if you happen to be nearby.

From out of town .... very nice to order food and not worry about whats in it etc....very nice to get away from the theme park pace and eat in a neighborhood restaurant. The food and the manager were fantastic!!! Gonna make this a regular stop next time in town. (10-18-2018)

Been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time now and it lives up to all the hype. We tried the hoax tail and Irie platter and it was all delicious and really flavorful!

Really good vegan food! We got the Build A Bowl with Buffalo cauliflower and Jerk Chick'n and also the Manlay-Castro Salad. Overall I preferred the Build A Bowl as it was phenomenal, but I was happy to see some salad options too. The sorrel drink was fabulous. I highly recommend and they definitely deserve your support! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed with fun art. Would absolutely return.
