D & S Plating Review

D&S does incredible chrome work! The four VW bumper guards they chromed for me looked like jewelry and done in the time quoted.

Upon communicating with Nick for a month it was understood that my parts that needed chome plating would be done while I was on vacation. It was conveyed that I was going to need the parts to go back to work at the end of the one week vacation. On my way back from vacation I stopped to get parts and they had not even started on parts. Very dissatisfied.

Thank you for responding Nick. I understand what you saying but I started conversations as you stated in your response approximately 5 weeks ago. You also stated the 8-10 business days several times which I also understand, but my parts had been with you for almost 6 business days. Untouched, not even unpacked and as you said were set to be done the 13th, 14th, or 15th. Only 4 buiness days from when I picked them up.

They polished all the metal trim for my 66 GTO at a very good price 6 years later everything still looks great

Awesome -long lasting quality...Mikey did the trim for my 1941 Cafillac 10 years ago and all still looks like new !

My old Delta faucet looks like any other, but the spout lifts out and can be used in a similar fashion to a kitchen faucet. Unfortunately, I learned that there was nothing on the market today to replace this unique and handy faucet. I was doing a total master bath remodel and was sad that I couldn't replace this handy faucet. Reusing the faucet I loved seemed ridiculous as it had some mild erosion at the base a flaw that would be apparent with my all new bathroom.
The plumber suggested I look into having it replated. Replating?? I would have NEVER thought of replating! This was uncharted territory for me.
I did some online research and called D&S Company in Holyoke.
After a brief phone chat, I brought my old faucet to D&S.
They were attentive and thoughtful to me and my old faucet. Two weeks later I returned to find the faucet looking all shiny and new. I couldn t have been happier and the cost was reasonable. Debbie, Tom and Steve were all very helpful and friendly. Everyone treated me like I was an old friend.
A little heads up: Don t count on a GPS or online map. D&S is a bit tucked away but EASY to find when you know where it is. Just ask Debbie or another employee for directions.
