Dave & Busters sells itself as an arcade/ restaurant/ bar. I don't believe they truly come across as a "good", either one of those. My wife and I met with a fellow couple to enjoy a night out. The line is ot the door as the clumsy staff tries to organize two lines. One line which sells food packages with game cards another which sells just game cards. The trick here is get on the shirt line. There are plenty of groups or online coupons giving away the game cards which the company needs you to own. The game cards is their gimmick to try to get you to comeback. The packages trade game card points in exchange for money which you put onto each card. The game card itself also tracks how many arcade winning tickets you've collected at the end of the night. Growing up in the arcade era I expected certain things in terms of video game selection. Many of the available games can also be found in your phone as these games included flappybird and angry birds. There were no fighting games and no games from before 2015. So if you are looking to enjoy your inner child you will have to do so in another fashion. I was hoping to see some classics, four player ninja turtles, street fighter, mortal kombat, tekken, nba jam, golden axe.. no no wartered down shooters was as good as it gets. Im talking about time crisis part 4.. lol. They did have a four way air hockey table which will keep you entertained for two minutes at a time at a cost of 8 credits per game. Other games i enjoyed were ski ball and basketball shootout. Most games cost about 6 credits. The card reader would often jam and created some confusion for several game players. My favorite game played was mario kart which I could have stood home and played on my son's wiiu or switch.
The drinks ran approximately 10 dollars each and were carefully measured and served with plenty of ice so 4 drinks and 40 dollars in you may feel like you've had your first drink.
The food, although creative, was similar to that of a tgifridays with less selections priced at about $20 an entree and came with a $10 game card. The food, however, lacked flavor and could not be less satisfying but you get what you pay for.
At the end of the night I came home with a game card probably worth 50 bucks, and a fiendish desire to locate a real arcade to go the next time we go out.
If you are looking to watch a game while throwing back beers n soda while eating appetizers this may be a decent option for you. The were plenty of large screen TVs and clean booths. You could play a few games during half time and finish using up your card points
Fun time as usual. The party was very well organized and maintained by the staff, the kids had fun in the arcade, especially with the new marvel contest of champions game that gave them collectable character cards that can be used to play in the game. The drinks were good, and for a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't extremely packed. Good overall experience.
My kids had a blast. The staff was very helpful and accommodating for my daughter's birthday party. It's clean, spacious and the food was good.
A little pricey- but definitely a great place to take the kiddies to kill a few hours.. it's a little cheaper and more older kids friendly than chuck e cheese.
Had a great time..my great niece had her birthday party there. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves.
this place is expensive and nuts. Pasadena on this joint
Most everything is great, I expect them to add more games. The food takes extremely long though. I can t blame them, since it s popular, but on that day, barely anyone was eating. I m sorry, but come on! It takes waaaay too long. It was a blast there though! The prizes are most definitely worth it. But maybe make the prize corner a bit bigger? I dunno, I just don t see that much stuff in there...
Love the place ! Fun! Food is good ! Staff is very nice ! But service is slow in restaurant !
Great location, tons of parking, lots of new modern games
Food wasn't too great. Pricey. Besides the cost of the games a simple lunch for myself and my 4yr.old niece...it cost $30+.
I've been to better Dave and Buster's. This one wouldn't be my first recommendation. Machines are always down and staff is not friendly or helpful
The food is absolutely delicious...and my waiter Emmanuel was the "BOMB"...he is/was very courtesy, professional and respectful...my nephew 5th Birthday party was here...however, if/when I come back to this Dave and Buster's, I will definitely request Emmanuel as my waiter again...thank you Emmanuel for your great service, !!!
A great experience, the place is huge, great people.
I'm visiting from the Caribbean and I found the spacing between the seats and table to be a little small there were times when my legs were actually cramping otherwise the experience was memorable
Had a birthday party for my son here. Place is clean and friendly staff. Love to be back again.
First time ever to a Dave and Busters and I recommend it. The food was yummy and it wasn't that crowded. Had a hard time deciding what to eat because there was so much to pick from. The pork tacos were delicious. Next time I want to try a couple drinks...the sangria looked good. Lots of games to choose from and the prizes are great. Nothing to complain about. Can't wait to go again. Nice for both bringing kids and for a fun date night.
I would rate it 2.4 stars but they bairly had games for kids bairly had things in the ticket shop for kids. Place us big all give that good and thats all
Very good experience, steak was over cooked , but pasta dishes and burgers were great.
Good service
We went during not a busy time and all the food was gross.. came out cold and didn't taste good. Also the dinner came out when we weren't even close to being finished. A pet peeve of mine and waitress said it wasn't her fault...never go back
Absolutely Horrible Service
Me and my friend had gone (for the third time) to get the twenty dollar unlimited deal, and after being told we can wait, then getting seated, and our orders taken, the manager had come over and told us to show ID.
Obviously, I asked why and he responded with we have to be 18 or older. I said, we can move out of the area which happened to be close to the bar, but he kept insisting that we had to move.
We moved, but on the way out we saw at least three tables of obviously underage guys, one of which was a table of old friends that k knew weren't of age. We ended up buying lunch I'm the food court, and seeing if they too were escorted out. (They were not) and left the premises.
Keep in mind we had asked about the deal the day before, and traveled all the way for the games alone.
They really should make sure they don't waste our time, and show clearly that you have to be 18 or older to participate. Wasted time, and bad service. Overall really low quality place.
The food was terrible! I ordered pull apart pepperoni bites. It tasted like cheap microwavable pizza. The mozzarella wasn't melted and the bread bites was a cut up pretzel dumped in cold tomato sauce. The Caribbean drink was sugary too.
They kept messing up on my husband's order twice and my husband ended up not eating he got very upset and I'm not happy that my husband did not get a chance to eat at his daughter's birthday therefore I'm only going to give it 2 Stars
Too salty the food will never eat again and never very salty and some friends told me that the food was bad
Fun & good food. New one at Staten island mall can get crowded
Was there yesterday at opening with my wife and family...Ashley @ the front desk was a absolute sweetheart, answered our questions and got us set up quickly, was seated immediately and our server Shea was awesome..on top of it, sweet and always checked in on us... atmosphere was gr8, clean..had a gr8 time! Going back Sunday for those cheesesteak sliders again!!
Food here is the best ive ever had, though It could cost a lot
The games here are pretty fun but you run out of credits (used to play games) relatively quickly
Overall good place
Seems bigger then the one in Times Square. But the food is great, drinks are better, and the games are awesome. Went with coworkers after work, and will go back again with my family.
Unfortunately didn't try the food but the games can definitely be fun with friends. Their is a large variety of games and it can be fun for almost everyone.
It was good. Food was very good for an arcade. Good service , everyone was very friendly. It was just noisy. But otherwise there was a huge variety of games.
Cant believe I inserted money into kiosk and didn't register deposit... ask for manager and bluntly claim I did not inserted money. I ask him review it in camera he refuses. Other than food service excellent, I will never go back to this business for making me feel as if I'm liar or theft over 20.00 lol F.U.
I took my ten year old Grandson for the third time and we had a blast it's a fun place for young and old.
Had a blast key was a great server. The manger Mj help explain the difference in games.
I loved the atmosphere and the food, a different place from NY muvuca
Bring your credit card..... MUCHO BUCKS if you're eating and playing.
Typical Dave and Buster's. Bar food is just bar food and games are pretty much the same. Enjoy the VR game though!
Food taste terrible and it was cold, poor service. The games are good, my children enjoyed them but the restaurant is poor. I d rather go to the one in Jersey or Times Square.
Had a blast at this dev n busters but as per usual, many arcade games werent working properly or were out of order all together. The food tool a very ridiculously long time to come out but our waitress was VERY nice and we enjoyed ourselves
Perfect place to sit around the arcade games for 2 hours and still not get your food
Awesome place, clean environment, good food, and friendly service equals good times.
Good food, a lot of games, and had a great time. I would come back anytime I want. BTW, Dave & Busters is located next to the Food District.
Had a fun experience along with my sister in law, nephew and niece. We had many games to choose from and played and most importantly the kids had a blast being there as a reward for their excellent report cards. We even played an awesome round of 4 way air hockey. It should be noted that the customer service their was excellent as well all around from the front counter girl to the technicians who literally took a machine apart to retrieve a card my nephew accidently had slip inside a machine when he put it up on the screen to rest while playing. Great Job by the staff!
An upgrade from the one in Manhattan. It's very spacious, lots and lots of game to lose yourself in great place for the kids and the kids at heart. Beautifully decorated, bar area have lots of big tvs to enjoy the game while eating chicken wings, drinking your beer or whatever tickle your fancy. You can also have your kids party there, or do the eat play option. Staffs are friendly, menu looks good but, you just don't know what's coming out when you order. My son and his friends had a great time there. The only negative thing I would say is when I went to use the restroom, there was no toilet tissue in my stall so I had to ask the lady next door for some , yes! I was embarrassed but, sh..t happens! Thank you lady, whoever you were .
Other than that, it's a nice place to hang out, relax and take a load of. See you soon D&B's
So me and my fiance came here after a nice dinner (It's date night) Well we went to the bar where there was only one person sitting there yet we had to wait for a drink because the bartender had her back to us and was on her phone. We ordered two long island iced teas and they were horrible. Tasted like lemon water. I spoke to the manager and he was very nice and exchanged my drink. When we went to close out the tab, again we had to wait because the bartender was on the other side of the bar with another employee and someone else on their phones. The only reason I gave four stars is because of the manager and the nice selection of games.
Establishment is great. Staff not very friendly especially some hostess
Awesome place after some shopping and food. Good bartender makes you awesome drinks and staffs are nice
I'm commenting on a brand new establishment that may differ from one I would give on an older, run down one. The new Dave and Buster's at the Staten Island Mall is pretty darn nice. Good 'comfort' food and a good way to spend a few hours with your kid(s), but it will cost you some. Some food and a decent card value is a $50-$60 day, and that's just one parent/kid (in my situation.) Add in a spouse and more kids, double that.
Waited a long time to have this open up on Staten Island but was disappointed when we went. Food is way overpriced and not good good at all. Service is slow and uncaring about the customers. And dont order any adult beverages they have no idea how to make them. The games are very unappealing for any age level. I would say stay away.
Staff is great. Food is good . Kids are exhausted when they get home. Mission accomplished
Great place to hang out and play arcades, perfect place for a date or even just a family outing... delicious food and good beverages, the service was wonderful and have no complaints!!
Enjoyed time spent there with the kids. One of the only fun places on the island. Give it a try, you might like it.only thing is the food restriction and entrance is really far from the parking lot.
3 stars is being polite since I can't reply to the managentsncomment on my review in would be happy to share my thoughts directly with them before updating my reviews with my positive comments Matt.collings at Gmail

Variety selection if games both old and modern games as well as a place to sit down drink have a good time with friends or enjoy a game of football.
I came to Dave & Buster in Staten Island mall with my 8 yr old daughter today, I was seated and my steak was sent back because they gave me wrong order. Then they bring it back out & its burned & smaller than the last one. I couldn t even eat it, the food was horrible I ate the mashed & green beans.
Went there last week , and even though it was busy we got a table very fast. Food was served quickly . Will definitely be back soon. Servers name was Amy and when I tell you guys she was so nice !!! Didn t have any problems at all , this will definitely be my go - to having a fun time with my girls !
Love it. Great spot and they even have a special allergy menu.
