Uff this school makes it nearly impossible to apply to the nursing program. First of all you have to be Asian or white to get admission it seems like. Secondly, there is only a 10 day window to apply but yet the site doesn t even work when adding a college. Bad school I m done with it, don t recommend
Teach the subject that students are paying to learn, and hire better professors that are more professional especially. Absolutely despicable institution.
Hopefully when teachers teach they focus on fundamentals while nurturing curiosity. Some teachers can have more of an indoctrination mentality and I appreciate a school who fights for their students minds and freedoms.
I am embarrassed for this business . This college wasn t on anyone s radar until the incident with that professor. I tried to send a private email but the website is not user friendly.
I hope she doesn t represent the college as a whole.
But as she was allowed to take leave , I would imagine she does.
A. Present something as a fact when it is absolutely not
B. Make baseless claims of fact without presenting even allegorical evidence
C. Ask a student a question or challenge their belief in the quest for better understanding or even a logical response (hopefully), but then interrupt/override the response from a position of power. That sounds familiar.
Both students were more mature than the professor in this incident. I perceived her as merely a petulant child, not letting the adults speak.
Race, gender, age, etc mean nothing to me. Only thoughts and actions. This student paid money to take this course. What a disappointment.
The shopping experience was nice the only negative thing to really say is there is not enough restrooms
When the professor's are allowed to berate a student in front of others because the student supports law enforcement and the instructor does not. How is that teaching communication. Everyone should be allowed their opinion.
This review is for parents and students who are considering College and are researching if it will be a good fit. Based upon what I have seen and heard, this college leans hard Left. That is only a problem if your family leans towards being a Right Wing Conservative Thinker type, who believes in Personal Liberty, the Natural Rights of man & the ideas of Self Government as manifested in the founding principles of our nation. If your needle points this way, you will not be happy with this college and a student will run the constant risk of getting crossways with professors and the administration.
On the other hand, if your family leans towards the Left, who believes that our society (and individualism) are the problem (that can be solved by a more controlling central government) & belive that our existing society must be torn down in order to make way for a future Utopian society created with the tools of forced and fabricated "equality", you will most likely love this college.
As a parent or as a student, I beg you to chose wisely, this is the most important time of a person's life to exercise and develop good character, critical thinking, accountability, etc.
Huge Swap meet here on weekends..free entrance they see just about everything new and used..it's a great place just to walk around..they have different stand Foo..snacks...clothing..all kinds of new and used stuff at bargain prices
I was wrong to consider a college that hires socialistic bigots that will exert power over my grade, impacting my future, if I should disagree with their personal politics. This institution is a prime example of academia whom wish to degrade constitutional freedoms and rights for the illusion of equality when the real agenda is the opposite. Any academic entity supporting bigotry should be stripped of its charter if it unable to ascertain the definition. History has never been kind to bigots, and in the case of this institution, I hope history repeats itself.
Although it was very hot today, I enjoyed the swap meet, found some things I wanted for a great price.
