Value D-

Went for brunch on a Saturday. The food was mediocre and way over priced. I was done with my small salad, pastry and single poached egg ($15.00) before our generally apathetic server came to ask us how our food was. Apparently they don t believe in putting ice in the water, which on an outdoor patio in Tucson in May is a must, regardless of how they do it in France. The outdoor patio was pretty nice and has some potential. If you re going to offer French food in Tucson, you re going to need to knock it out of the park. This wasn t even close. The location is definitely hipster, but regardless the brunch menu needs a lot of work. I looked at the dinner menu while I waited an inordinate amount of time to complete the billing cycle. It looked interesting but still a little pricey. Maybe dinner is where this place shines, because it definitely doesn t at brunch. Save your money and go elsewhere nearby. I will not be back nor do I recommend for brunch/lunch.

Our experience lacked considering we walked in 30 mins before closing time for Easter brunch.
My roast was cold on the bottom (Easter Special) but the Foul Mdamas was interesting, a bit different than the norm but had a good flavors to it.
Service was ok and could have been better if they weren't occupied closing even earlier than posted.
Had to rush out since we were the only table left and they had had put everything away.
We left at 3:03 a few minutes after the 3pm posted closing time.

My husband and I went to The Coronet for dinner on Christmas Eve. It was absolutely perfect! Charming ambiance, delicious food, friendly service. There was a band playing outside, but inside was still fairly quiet. I had the Kale Salad with house-made fennel sausage, which was the perfect amount for a light appetite. My husband enjoyed the Barbecue Chicken. It made for a perfectly pleasant holiday meal. My only complaint is that they ran out of Creme Brulee! But we will certainly be back again.

Very beautiful place especially for having an incredible place in the open air to spend a beautiful morning having breakfast with your family, the menu is a bit limited, but it is very tasty, I recommend their burger and their Waffle, they are delicious, you can accompany your breakfast with a traditional sangria.
The place is clean and the attention provided is very good.

Parisian style sheltered patio dining on an entertaining 4th avenue corner a short stroll from the Streetcar stop.
Inside is a small but classic turn-of-the-century bar fronting the kitchen.
We went because it is convenient to the Tucson Improv where we had tickets to the evening show. Before we left we had decided to come back anytime we are down on 4th.
The 'small plates' on the menu are perfect for a date-night on the town. Outstanding fare in reasonable portions.
The sweet fennel meatballs were delivered ( with excellent presentation) with roasted brussles sprout in a honey glaze. Delectable. I wanted to order again...but the scallop plate awaited. A single seared scallop perfectly cooked, on a bed of lentils with mushrooms and a small dab of seasoned greek yogurt.
I dunno what they did to that yogurt, but I dipped everything into it. Crazy good. Savory mushrooms and lentils, meatballs, scallop, my finger, everything got a dash of magic yogurt.
We will definitely be going back, for brunch, dinner, anything that happens to be offered when we are nearby. It is just a small place on a busy corner, but the food ( and service) is far and away better than expected.
They also have IPA!

Great location, interesting menu. Really looking forward to our first visit there - love supporting local businesses...

Although menu sounds very creative, flavors are not vibrant at all. Strangest of all, magic bean soup was blah & didn't have hardly any beans it - one of the cheapest inqredients around?!

French onion soup was delicious as was bruschetta app. Everything else was disappointing & bland. Even tack room mousse was not very good - a slice of chocolate 'fudge' instead of a rich, creamy pudding like dessert a mousse is???

Great ideas, just not done well. Too bad, would've liked to have made it a regular place...

Amazing food but on the pricey side. We came here on Valentine's Day and it was completely reserved but we got seats at the bar. Only a prix fix menu or about $65 per person due to the holiday. I believe it was more for a pairing option.

We stopped in for a bite to eat after visiting the Tucson Fox theater TCM Backlot showing the Rio bravo. The three of us had a wonderful meal out on the patio. It was heated which was nice considering it was very cold for Tucson this time of year. I had the Dark of Night Burger prime black angus beef, braised swiss chard, red onion, cheddar, smoked oyster whole grain mustard aioli. Absolutely delicious.

Delightful and caring owner sets the tone for a fabulous dining experience. The staff is kind and attentive and the food could not be better. From the creative cocktail menu, with thoughtful choices for those who care not to drink, to the incredibly creative and delicious dinner menu, The Coronet is not to be missed when you are in Tucson. The restaurant is housed in a charming building with a beautiful courtyard for outdoor dining. Beautiful inside and out.
