I've used a few different lawn equipment supply/service stores over the last few years but none compare to Current Power. No matter where I've gone, the service rates and product prices are pretty much the same but Current Power is the most honest, most informative, best customer care and service. They treat you like a friend and not just a number. I will no longer go anywhere else.

1 STAR rating is an exaggeration!
I called to get information regarding pricing for a repair to a snow blower, that required an Auger Clutch Cable replaced, as soon as I told him I already had purchased the part, he replied that he wasn't interested in just just making $10.00 to install my part, HE THEN ABRUPTLY HANGED UP THE PHONE ON ME
I guess they are not interested in just charging for honest labour work, without trying to mark-up the parts.
If I ever need repairs, with or without the parts, I know where not to go!!!

These guys are the best! Small family shop that still knows what customer service is! Prices are good, (most items are priced by mfg anyway), but it's the quality of the people and the service they provide that keeps me coming back.

Very professional small engine dealer. I was looking for a new lawnmower and found Current Power on the Honda website. I called a large powerhouse dealer much closer to me but no one answered the phone. I called Current Power and they picked up right away. I found the product knowledge and sale process to be very professional. I was instructed on use and care of the mower as well as its features that make life easier. The sale process took 15 minutes from arrival to leaving with my new mower. i highly recommend Current power for your small engine/yard tools requirements.

Curb side pick up only. Had to use a tap card through the front door window. The machine wouldn't pick up the chip through the glass. They gave us no other option to pay because they want no contact. I saw plenty of contact with the lawn machine repair and customers going on. Hmmm.

I have used this location for repairs, yearly maintenance and recently for the purchase of a new lawn mower. The approach is very professional and responsive.They listened to what I was looking for in a lawn mower and suggested a great model. I could not have asked for more and highly recommend this locally owned business for their fair and honest approach.

Any season in the Year - Current Power is my number choice for all of my gardening and snow removal needs for me and my family. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable - face to face or just simple advice by telephone. great to have this store in our community

TERRIBLE!! be aware! They give you a certain price...

TERRIBLE!! be aware! They give you a certain price and then later on charge more. Worker told us that i would get my machine back in 1 week, but had not fixed not fixed it till a month later. THEY ARE THEIVES!!!!! Older lady who works there is EXTREMELY rude and does not listen to the customer at all.I got my lawn mower back yesterday and its still not working. Cost me $400. Owner ordered a warranty part and kept it for themselves and just cleaned my old one for me. DO NOT WASTE MONEY

So disappointed in this shop. We bought several pieces of equipment - asked about having our snowblower repaired and tuned up. Said no problem. When we arrive - they basically slammed the door in our face and told us to call because of Covid. Ok - so we do that, and they say they won't repair our snowblower because its a "big box" brand. So - at the end of the day - -they don't value customers - I will never shop here again - and hopefully nobody I know will either. It would be 0 stars if I could - but you can't post without putting at least 1 star up. Stop using Covid as an excuse for terrible service. Other companies are managing just fine.

Needed spare parts, called after hours during covid, answer message said I would receive a call back within 24 hours. It happened. After some research received another timely call back. Her information was accurate and my order for spare parts although only $50 was handled like it was a $1500 order. Had to have it to become operational. Solid service and very responsive. Really impressive in this day and age.

This place is a scam. I bought my generator there and was happy. Brought it in for my annual and mentioned it was chugging a little and they told me I needed a new coil for $700. I thought something was fishy by the way the guy couldn't look me in the eye. I decided to take it to a guy in Georgetown who laughed when I showed him the report. He took it apart found a loose wire, charged me $80 and I've been running the generator for 3 days a week, 8 hour days for a year and a half now. No problems. I've talked to another guy who had a similar experience. They're dishonest and overpriced when it comes to repairs. Don't go there.

Fantastic mom and pop shop. Great customer service and always there to assist. Shop local support Canadian business they need us more than ever. I highly recommend them for tools of all sorts. I bought a high end Stihl trimmer with an extended warranty. They walked me through each step patiently. Go you will not be disappointed for your garden needs.

Absolutely horrible service. Asked for a quote, did not get one right away. Sent them a quick cut saw in one piece to fix. They gave it back taken apart and wanted us to pay more to put it back together, not included in the cost of fixing the saw. If I new it would have cost this much for bad service, I would have bought a new saw...

I own an 11 year old White Power Equipment mower powered by Honda. The motor was surging badly and had been for the past few years. Another shop in the area had failed to address and correct the issue during the past two years. I contacted CPM by phone then went into their shop to discuss my mower and the process for repair. When I dropped the mower off with them, Bern explained their process thoroughly. The timeline for the estimate and repair was exactly what was told to me and the cost of repair was in line with the work completed. The owners, Jim and Janet treated me with respect and offered advice freely. When I picked up the machine, the technician went over the repair in great detail. All in all, a very good experience from a professional group of people. Current Power Machinery has found a new customer in me.

I've been dealing with Current Power for over thirty years starting with the previous owner, Frank.The new owners are great to deal with as well. I had a minor issue with my lawnmower and they fixed the problem without charge. That's what customer relations is all about. Remember, they're at a new location.

Very bad service experience.A machine with a two-year warranty cannot be started. It is said that it is necessary to test it. During the period, three calls were made to inquire about the progress. And returned a month later with a bunch of parts, telling me they couldn't be fixed. If I have to fix it, I have to pay for it . And the service staff inside has a very bad attitude.

Make sure you know what you are looking for prior. The customer service leaves a LOT to be desired. No returned phone calls or follow up, after sales service almost doesn't exist. Very poor service.

I walked into the store and was surrounded by all kinds of power equipment. I liked that there was many options for any equipment you may need. The lady at the desk was extremely helpful and pleasent and knowledgeable. She ordered the part that I needed for my lawn mower and informed me that I would get it next week.

Poor customer service skills.Please don t waste your time with them.I went there to repair my power washer but was accused and blamed for damaging my own equipment so that warranty won t cover the repair.The repair cost was more than a brand new equipment.
I was told that they work by what they think ONLY.
They told me that the equipment was damaged in purpose .
What a great liars.Explanation by what they think with no reasonable grounds,didn t make any sense to me.When I asked them why repairing it cost more then brand new one.They told me that it is going to cost 1 million dollars if they were to assemble power washer here with parts ordered.
We live in a time of advanced technologies.

What a great experience especially during the COVI...

What a great experience especially during the COVID crisis. These friendly people genuinely seem to care about their customers and the equipment you purchase from them. They got my mower ready and topped it up with oil and gas before I picked it up. While practicing physical distancing, they gave me a rundown on all the features. Please support your local guys rather than the big retailers. FYI The mower I bought was listed at almost double the price at Home Depot. Cheers and thanks!

Excellent knowledgeable service. I purchased a chainsaw. The salesperson took the time to understand my needs and educated me as to the best model to meet those needs...he did not up-sell me but rather his advice made me end up purchasing a less costly product than I was prepared to buy. They then spent the time educating me on how to properly use the chainsaw safely. I have used the saw repeatedly since purchasing and it has worked perfectly every time. I highly recommend shopping here.

Awful customer service. I did not notice the store left a voice mail to my phone and I called in to try to get a quote on a part. I was literally interrogated by repeating questions by sales person, Have you checked your voice mail?! It absolutely made me feel guilty. Never return to this shop...
