Waffle was very tasty, service was pretty fast and friendly.

These guys do liege waffles right and they serve up Counter Culture coffee, too. It s the best pairing you can think of.

Curio provides artisanal coffee & waffle by day, organic wine and comfort nighttime food (hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwich etc.) by night. My friend and I stopped by to try their natural wine at 9pm and stayed till 10:30pm - it s a perfect place to catch up with old friends or just chat with the owner to learn more wines. Highly recommended.

Cortado was just right and waffle was the best I recall experiencing . This is an oasis in a good coffee desert. Do this place.

Great coffee and I love the pearl sugar waffles! The pearl sugar adds a nice crunch to the waffles, they re definitely a decadent treat. Curio Coffee has also been doing an incredible job with covid safety so be sure to order online before you go (or once you arrive, it only takes a few min to get the coffee) as you can t order at their counter or go inside.

Very small space, but they make the most of it. Coffee is delicious, waffles are to die for, and the space is very cozy. Make sure to get there early if you want to sit for a while.

Curio is a great independent, neighborhood coffee shop. I've been wanting one for awhile, so I was happy to hear that Curio was going to be opening in the old Petsi Pies location in East Cambridge. The shop is small, music at an appropriate volume, the owner and staff friendly, and the coffee is very flavorful. They have different featured roast and origin coffee every time I go in. I also like the waffle - doughy, and just the right amount of sweet. I'm curious how the menu will evolve over time. I've come here on different occasions to relax and read, catch up with friends, and to work.I recommend you check it out, especially if you live in the neighborhood.

Very delicious waffles, served the classic way held by hand in paper, and staff seemed friendly and competent. My almond milk steamer was delicious too. We'd come back, but maybe not to stay, as the place seems a little small and cramped - and is definitely popular! But definitely go try a waffle- friendlier and cheaper place than Zinnekins for comparable quality.

Good quality coffee at a reasonable price. Baristas are friendly and helpful. Menu is simple but has all you could want. Waffles are more of a donut in waffle shape. They are super delicious!

I grew up a block away. On Sundays I visit my grandparents. Aside from Dunkin Donuts, this is about the only coffee they like. The prices are still reasonable (though not cheap ), the waffles are great, and the staff friendly. Some of the best drip coffee around.

Top-notch coffee and espresso-based drinks on a simple menu. They limit food to just a Liege waffle, served in a sleeve for easy eating, and it is delicious. Relaxed vibe and friendly service in a small, plant- and sun- soaked space. Recommend arriving early or late in the day to snag a seat, though seat availability does circle throughout the day. Otherwise, everything is available to-go.

Curio is a small coffee shop on a picturesque street. They have several tables, and a couple of bar stools along the window. If you visit on a Saturday morning (my preferred time), the street will be quiet, but the coffee shop will be busy. They serve counter culture coffee (one of my personal favorites). The waffles are the only food served, but they are to die for, and they are made to order. Made with crunchy sugar pearls in the dough, they don't require syrup, and they are small, but hearty. This shop is on my regular rotation of best Boston coffee shops.

Amazing coffee, with awesome waffles. Went for the coffee with my kids, got them each a waffle that they said "ewww" at and then they ate the whole thing. Will go back, even though I'm so uncool and old that I really ruin the atmosphere.

The espresso drinks are all excellent. More importantly, you ought to get a waffle. Just once. You won t regret it. You know you want one. It s made fresh and will take three minutes. See, that s not even that bad.

Great clean inviting space. Tables and Cafe bar. Surviving the rest of time. Former tenants came and went so it shows how great this place is. Much better than Dunkins or Starbucks. Warm atmosphere. WiFi of course. I can sit and be creative or just chill. Cappuccino was delish.

Best darn Liege Waffle ever! Came in on a whim, but when I saw they offered Liege waffles, I had to give it a try. Twice as good as the Liege waffles you'll find at Blue Bottle coffee in NYC/San Fran. And believe you me, Blue Bottle makes great waffles.

Oh the waffles... They rarely have the cider ones, but even the regular waffle is delicious, a great fit for your morning coffee. Unfortunately the place is somewhat small so you may not always find a seat.

Very cute newly opened Cafe with selling bakery items at the same time. Calm European cafe music. Coffee are good nothing to complain. The owners are nice couple.

Excellent coffee AND fresh, hot liege waffles. The waffles have rotating specials without much choice. But really, what more could you ask for? The coffee shop is small with about 7 tables around the coffee counter, though it felt spacious enough for a conversation even when nearly full and buzzing.

This place makes great coffee and delicious waffles. The waffles are always warm right out of the oven and there's crispy sugar chunks in the batter. I highly recommend the coffee and food, but there isn't always a place to sit.

Cozy coffee shop with delicious espresso drinks. Didn t get a chance to try the waffles but the offered their standard waffle and a seasonal waffle. This time it was a Thanksgiving stuffing waffle. Only Complaint was this is a pretty small space. If you were hoping to sit and enjoy your coffee you may be a bit limited on weekend mornings.

The pour over coffee is excellent as are the Belgian waffles. Bright and open atmosphere and not too overly hip - just the right balance.

Easily the best Cafe in Cambridge. The coffee drinks at Curio are consistently beautiful and delicious, with a variety of interesting rotating coffees. The waffle may just be the only pastry you'll ever want to eat once you try it. It's got a really fun and chill aosphere, making this a great place to hang out, and the owner/staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10.

Excellent coffee, excellent waffles. Even just coming here for one of those would be one of the best around. Having amazing drinks and amazing pastries at one shop is really rare. Love it!

Without a strong branding presence and typical American overstimulation, Curio captures the feeling of European cafes better than most... The short menu has been distilled to the essentials and the quality of espresso exceeds the local norm. A serious step up for Cambridge.

Their waffles are absolutely delicious ! And, they go so well with their coffee. It is a great place for a casual meeting. The only thing is that they're open during regular business hours during the week.

This is a coffee shop whose only rival in Boston is Gracenote. Curio makes amazing coffee drinks, Excellent macchiatos and cappuccinos. Friendly staff, small business vibe and one hell of a waffle if you like a sweet with your coffee. We need more places like Curio and Gracenote. They care about good coffee, make incredible drinks and do it without being pretentious. If you're in Cambridge this is the place to have your coffee.

This is the best cup cappuccino I've had. The word "best" gets thrown around a lot in reviews but I actively searching for really good cappuccino in whatever city I'm in and I think the place is definitely worth going out of your way for. The waffle wasn't that good though.

A great little coffee shop with a hip vibe to it; the staff was very friendly and down to earth and their iced coffee was better than your average coffee shop. Definitely worth checking out, I know I will be back to sample more of their menu.
