My partner and I went on a day trip and stop at this lovely estate. I had booked us for the lunch tasting menu and it did not disappoint! The staff where very welcoming and made our time there even better. All in all a beautiful location very picturesque and amazing wine and food!! We will be back!!

$10 for ten minutes. That's what my husband and I paid for wine tasting today and we felt ripped off. My husband called Cuppit Estate early this morning to ask if he could make a booking for a tasting for two. The female on the phone told him he could make a booking for the last time slot available which was 1.15 (as a wedding was booked). Because of the rules on their website for making a booking: "Bookings are approximately 30 minutes and proceed in all weather conditions" we figured the tasting would last ten minutes and we could sit outside for at least 20 minutes. This was not the case. After our ten minute wine tasting, we asked where we could sit outside as the venue was being set up for the wedding. The man behind the counter conducting the tasting said the tasting was over and that we had to leave.
My husband and I wouldn't have made the booking if we had known we couldn't enjoy ourselves on the property. I don't know what kind of business takes reservations when they have secret expectations to kick you out after just ten minutes. The right thing to do when someone asks to make a booking that you can't accomodate is to be truthful and tell them if they make a booking they are only allowed to stay at the venue just long enough to taste the wine and nothing further.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary wow what a find it was recommended by our hosts at the Ridge Retreat Mollymook and did not disappoint. The sharing plates were out of this world. Amazing service from Anna and Chris( makes the best espresso martini) wine awesome a perfect evening ...we plan on coming back with friends .

Lovely place for lunch with a view. Sprawling green countryside - vineyard up close, cows grazing in the valley, mountains in the distance. We ate on the lawn (picnic tables under large sunshade style umbrellas on the lawn). The menu is limited but that just meant it was easy to decide what we wanted. We had a cheese board and margarita pizza. The place is quite popular during the holidays so you'll definitely need to book ahead. Ordering is via a Qcode which was easy but slow with temperamental reception. The service was excellent and all three of the staff members we interacted with projected a genuine warmth and seemed to enjoy their job. We definitely recommend putting Cupitt's on your to do list if you're traveling down the south coast.

Cupitts is without a doubt the BEST place for lunch on the south coast. The setting is magical, service faultless, beautiful food and wine. We had the tasting menu and was blown away, paired with stunning wine it made for the perfect lunch. Definitely a must visit- be sure to book due to covid!

This was one of my favourite places to come to on the coast for years. Sadly after today's experience we won't be rushing back. We have never had to make a booking but today after driving 40 minutes to get here we were rudely turned away and told they were booked out despite there being several empty tables without reserved signs on them. I appreciate sometimes it pays to book but we could have been politely offered an explanation or alternative. Instead we were made to feel unwelcome.

Excellent food, wine and staff ... Cannot fault them ever. Great value for money ... Degustation was simply beautiful ... Well done to the Cupitts extended family for making us so welcome again ... we will not leave too long before our next visit ... David & Jodie.

By Stony Creek in the west of Ulladulla, Cupitt s Estate is a multifaceted food and drink experience with vistas over Burrill Lake to Pigeon House Mountain.

The property comprises a farm, restaurant, bar, boutique winery, fromagerie and craft brewery in one place.

The restaurant s menu is enriched with ingredients like seasonal vegetables sourced from the kitchen garden, and high-quality black angus beef raised on the farm.

The bar meanwhile has an elevated deck affording gorgeous rural views and an ever-changing choice of craft brews made right here on tap.

The winery s cellar door is open Wednesday to Saturday for walk-ins, while you can book special wine and cheese-tasting experiences in advance.

My husband and I had a lovely wine tasting experience with our little golden retriever puppy! The staff were fantastic and friendly and welcomed our dog so warmly. Thanks to the manager Anthony and his colleagues! We can t wait to visit again.

The venue was lovely and quality of food was great. The staff were mostly pleasant to deal with apart from a certain employee called Claire. Claire was very rude toward our group and made it a very uncomfortable experience.

Usually after a lovey meal it is nice to enjoy the views of such a beautiful venue over a drink and discussion, however upon notifying Claire that we were finished with our meals we were ignored and made to feel not welcome. This made the experience not as pleasant as we had hoped.

I had lunch here over the weekend, the property is truly stunning, the restaurant was a little underwhelming, the food was nice but there was just something missing about the whole experience. I wish we had of sat outside in the garden it was more enjoyable

Great place. Beautiful grounds and nice wine. Definitely worth the visit. The grass area could be greatly improved with the addition of umbrellas or other shelter from the sun and rain. The lawn has no cover and we got uncomfortably hot and there was no trees or shade to move into

We knew the venue was a special location, we didn t know how wonderful the staff would be. From the moment we walked in and were greeted so warmly at the front door, with all staff present wishing my husband a happy birthday, until the moment we left having had champagne on the lawn followed by a long, relaxed lunch for 10 we could not fault the staff, the venue or the delicious food and the price. Will recommend to everyone. Thank you for making my husband s 60th a super special one.

What a splendid way to spend a summer afternoon.

What a splendid way to spend a summer afternoon.
Service was impeccable
Food modern and delicious with exciting flavor combinations.
Generously portioned sharing plates
Chardonnay was indeed top shelf, chilled to perfection.
Couldn t rate the restaurant more highly.
Will certainly make a revisit a priority when next in Mollymook.

Fabulous! We had our anniversary at Cuppits yesterday and we had the set menu. Beautifully presented, fabulous flavors - mainly from their own produce. Great value. Lovely staff and delicious wines. Can t wait to come again.

Had a wonderful lunch with friends on Wednesday - weather even behaved itself. Love the new carpark, umbrellas and bathrooms. We were welcomed by a friendly young man and the electronic system for ordering is very simple to use. My only suggestion would be to stagger booking times as we were standing in the sun for some time while people either asked questions and/or were directed to their table.

The staff were excellent and the food was world class. I have travelled extensively and this had to be the best meal I have ever been served in a restaurant. Well done Cupitt's Estate. My party and I will be back.

I was very impressed. The wine is good, the food is good but what really stood out to me was the service. The guy who looked after us was excellent, friendly, funny and genuine without being overbearing or trying too hard. Highly recommend.

Great afternoon at Cupitts Estate. Unfortunately despite having made a booking our table wasn't ready when we arrived. We did have a 15min wait but this was more than made up for with outstanding service including a lovely glass of bubbly on the house as a thank you for our patience and understanding. We did the wine and cheese tasting at a table on the beautiful lawn and Chris and the team made sure we had a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommend this place, the views and hospitality were fantastic and we purchased a couple of yummy reds.

The set tasting menu at Cupitts never fails to impress! Wines are absolutely delicious too. Such relaxed but efficient staff make for an awesome atmosphere, would highly recommend. Beautiful setting and great for a sundown wine or two

Overall it was only ok
Some of the dishes (cured ocean trout) were absolutely delicious but others were average at best (chargrilled chicken). What really lets the place down is how disorganised they are. When we arrived there was a least six staff members that passed without asking if we needed assistance. When we eventually got some assistance we were told they were still in the process of setting up for the night even though we were only a few minutes early. We decided to order a cocktail from the bar and wait in the garden. 10 minutes later still no drinks but I checked and our table was ready. Unfortunately the table was so sticky. It took another 5min to get our drinks.

Magnificent setting. But $120 for two (modest) grazing platters, two glasses of white wine and a coffee? That's a significant service mark-up, but in this case we had to actually go looking for a waiter on three separate occasions. I'd love to give this place a better rating, but it's having a laugh at those prices.

Beautiful spot, but hey $45 dollars for a grazing plate? Two grapes and two slices of salami, 6 olives and couple of tiny pieces of bread. Wanted to come and support the smaller business after 2020 madness but the madness was the idiotically small servings, average wine and zero hospitality.
Cows were cute though. Moo.

Nice location however service was a bit slow. Waited almost an hour for food. One of the waitresses was a bit forgetful, forgetting to come back to us with our wine query and dessert menu. Overall food was nice and dessert was amazing.

We booked in for the first sitting for the tasting menu. We arrived early so we could enjoy the sunset and were able to order cocktails and sit in the sheltered terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful and the transition to dining was seamless and very enjoyable. The food came out at a great pace and was delicious, varied and the perfect portion size, so we left satiated but not stuffed. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the place is being renovated but I imagine when the works are complete this will be an easy 5 star experience.

Excellent taster menu. Each dish a surprise and very enjoyable. Many ingredients sourced from Cupitts gardens. Friendly old fashioned service. Memorable night. Food presentation added to the experience. Delicious.

My partner and I had a relaxing and wonderful lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and special .The thoughtful touch for our dessert to wish us Happy anniversary was the perfect touch to a romantic lunch.

we payed 85 dollars a head for the set sharing menu, and it was absolutely shocking. ZERO value for money , a highway robbery if I ever saw one, touts itself as 'fine dining' then has the audacity to serve a legit baked avocado with the skin still on. I could not believe my eyes. The vegetarian option as a substitute for pork belly , was, I kid you not, two thin slices of pumpkin. I thought I had seen the worst of it with the avocado abomination until dessert, pretentiously described as 'compressed salad with mint gel'. In reality it was bits of melon with a dollop of yoghurt on top. The whole experience gave me second hand embarrassment. All in all the presentation was very questionable and the taste was subpar. The wait staff did not ask how the meal was , so obviously this is a recurring issue.

Popped in this establishment to have a look see if it was worth a visit. Worth a visit? Worth a stay! Only did the beer tasting and a little wine, have to drive away sober, but it is a gem. The location alone is worthy of the trip and we will return to taste the food.
Back again for the third time and can it get any better? YES Smoked Porter on tap. Yum yum.

Amazing meal. Fantastic food, fabulous food and great location. I took my husband there for his 60th birthday and he genuinely loved everything thing about it. We will definitely go again next time we are down that way. Better than most of the restaurants I have been to in Sydney.

This place is amazing. So much better than Rick Steins where we went last night. Perfect setting, perfect food, perfect service. We had the 3-courses with matching wines and everything was faultless.

Overall a disappointing experience, despite the good service and location. The food was technically complex but lacked flavour. Less complicated dishes with more emphasis on taste would be better.

We debated a bit about coming to yet another cellar door - glad we did!
Rocked up a bit early, so asked if we could do a tasting at the cellar door before our lunch at the restaurant. Steve was a delight, took us through the wines and recent happenings. The wines were great, especially the Roussanne, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Slaughterhouse Red.
Lunch, was superb. There's a lot of superlatives that can be used to describe the perfect combo of amazing food, fantastic service and beautiful views. It's a must if you're in the area or have a spare few hours to hike down from Sydney. Once done, have a nap or a couple of more drinks on the lawn in the sun.

On a family road trip enjoyed the shared tasting lunch at Cupitt's Estate. Food was delicious - we had one pescatarian and one allergy in our party, and their offering was just as delicious as the regular menu. Service was good. Staff friendly. Location beautiful

This is a terrific venue for casual lunches on the lawns outside or table dining inside.
We chose a selection of dishes and enjoyed them all. Well worth a visit and a lovely drive from Milton.

Loved visiting the estate! All the staff were super kind and talked us through each of the wines we tasted. The ordering system using Me&u was also a great idea, made it super easy to order and pay for anything we wanted. Would love to return one day
